“This was our first experience at a Frasca Hospitality Group restaurant and it was, overall, very pleasant! The food was delicious, service was attentive and fast, and the ambiance was exactly what you’d expect—funky (esp the music, couldn’t stop dancing in my seat lol) but elevated! We ordered 9 dishes: beef tartare, salt beets, scallops, and pork belly to start; I had the roast chicken and my partner ordered the pork loin with the potato pave and rolls as a side; and we finished with the honey cheesecake for dessert. The scallops were far and away our favorite, and my chicken was perfectly cooked and a solid portion size. Everything else was delicious too (but the scallops still won the day) however, my partner’s pork loin seemed overcooked and a bit bland as is, but the stewed apple (sauce?) overpowered anything that it touched… So we’d definitely avoid ordering that again. Also a general comment on the pricing—it’s all pretty high for the portions you get, with dishes average $20+ so our bill (along with a bottle of wine) was over $150/person (albeit, we were comfortably full, not overstuffed, at the end of dinner). My last note will be that the music was a bit too loud at our table, as I think there was a speaker right above us so we were having to yell a bit to hear one another. Altogether, a very positive experience and I’m excited to come back to try more of their extensive wine selection and listen to funky jams again!“

We ordered the Ceasar salad this time and it was a proper Ceasar with anchovy dressing. A perfect late lunch snack for two.“

We ordered the most expensive "meal" on the menu which was sliced meats, cheeses and crackers. We intended to dine in and order a couple of glasses of wine before walking the art scene. The cheese and meats were decent, but it was a very small portion and were served in a "to-go" container. Still being very hungry after the dish, we decided to skip the wine and wait in line for the food truck meals down the street. Their nibbles menu has an amazing charcuterie with local preserves, salumi, and crackers as well as an incredible 18 month aged Gouda from Holland with many other items all tastefully displayed. Reservations aren't required but are recommended. Glad we made a reservation because this place was full.“

Most of the food was really good but the shrimp was overcooked. My drink was the Spanish 75 which was great, and my favorite plate was the patatas bravas. The service from our waiter was wonderful, he was attentive and polite, and the general atmosphere is nice. The table we were at felt a bit cramped next to others and almost as soon as we paid the manager came over to tell us they needed us to leave because they needed the table, even though we still had our last drinks and some food left. As someone who loves Italian food and misses home, that is the highest compliment I can give.One thing I have to mention is the surcharge on the bill. A 2% fee that goes to the kitchen staff is added onto the bill. It’s only 2% and not a big deal at all, but I really HATE this trend. Just adjust your prices and pay your staff like every other business in the world. It’s clearly a political statement and your gruff with local politicians requiring you to pay your employees a living wage doesn’t need to be shoved down the throats of your customers just trying to enjoy a meal. Complaining about having to pay your employees on your menu, especially when you just bought the building for $2.6million, is sleazy and in poor taste. You can afford to pay your staff 2% more. The wine list, artfully written on a backboard wall, was easy to read, and required no paper menus, and more importantly, no obnoxious QR Codes. I truly loved the diversity of wines- high end, esoteric, and value wines merged into a well-curated menu. The bartender was knowledgeable and up to the challenge of picking a wine for me based on my likes/dislikes- a delightful orange wine that was not overly tannic. The charcuterie board for sharing was an excellent size and amusing to munch on while chatting. Top marks for this place! Recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy or explore wine.“

I got the Buffalo wings, with Bleu cheese, which was pretty hot for Buffalo wings, but still quite good, and I also got the bacon cheeseburger, which had bacon, cheddar, arugula, tomato, and barbecue sauce I believe it was. Honestly, it was one of the better burgers I have had. There is so much diverse taste and flavor to it, which is hard to find with most burgers. I've got to say is one downside was they forgot our wings initially, so that created a bit of extra wait for that after already eating late after 9pm, which was annoying, but it all worked out. They got everything cooked in a reasonable time. It was a good restaurant, and I wouldn't mind eating here if I came back to this hotel again.“
