“We visited Guard & Grace because it is a Michelin inspector recommended restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice. The food is awesome! Just a bit salty for me. Not many restaurants season a fish 24-hour ahead of time, the black cod is really tasty! Filet Mignon was also really good, loved the desert as well!“
“My fiancé and I went to Rioja last night for our anniversary. We made note on our res that we were there to celebrate and the servers were the best! They sent over an unexpected celebratory glass of champagne for the both of us. The service was 10/10, they had wonderful recommendations, kept the table clean from crumbs and dishes etc. Let's start with the drinks- I had the Pisco cocktail which was fun, it's on the sweeter side, if you like a sweet cocktail with mint and grapefruit, this is the drink for you. My partner got the Mediterranean olive oil cocktail - so fun and the presentation was beautiful. The food was unique and inspired. We ordered the set tasting menu, we loved everything we tried. Highly recommend the artichoke tortellini and the venison was cooked to perfection. The restaurant felt high end but not stuffy. Thank you for an awesome date night!!“
“The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was quaint and cozy. We enjoyed eleven dishes, and splurged on the Wagyu Beef which was totally worth it. All of the drinks were creative and expertly paired as well. The restaurant also offered mocktail pairings. Overall it was a memorable experience. I can’t wait to go back.“
“Where to begin...the food is unique and beyond delicious. Right now they are offering their spring tasting menu which is amazing!!! The team is fun, knowledgeable and create an unforgettable experience. I will be taking more of my foodie friends so they too can enjoy!!“
“Food is always delicious and innovated with flavor and style. Familiar favorites with a twist! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Very gluten-free friendly!Brunch or dinner, this place is great to meet up with friends.Patio seating available.Always very busy. Highly recommend reservations!“
“Food was innovative and delicious. Our server, though very nice, cleared my drink before I was finished. I tried to catch their attention but was unable to in time.Adding 20% onto a check for 3 people was unorthodox and doesn’t feel like the right scenario for a restaurant. I’ve heard of adding gratuity for parties of six or more, but adding to a three-top is not standard practice.“
“Our server Tommy was incredible. He was very outgoing and welcoming but gave us our space at the table. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with chocie of dish.Vegetarian options: There were a few versions of every dishDietary restrictions: NoneParking: 1-2 dollars or valetKid-friendliness: Games“
“Love this place! Always great service and food. Brunch is awesome with HUGE breakfast burritos and a Bloody Mary bar. Very kid friendly. The fresh flowers is a nice touch too.Thank for the great service today, Clare!Parking: Parking can be a bit tough, but well worth it!“
“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“
“This place was our Hero being open til 1am! the service was Excellent. Our craft cocktails were perfect on execution, a lot of places have interesting drinks but they don't always taste good. these were all delicious and balanced. and the sandwich our server recommended was creative and amazing! Only here for 4 days but I feel compelled to go back for another sandwich.“
“Let’s start with the simplistic yet warm ambiance of the restaurant. It feels like a special and even secret space. It’s like walking into someone’s home. The staff are absolutely excellent in their field. The host Jen in particular was charming and fluid in her orchestrating our seating. Which by the way was generously offered to us even though we didn’t have reservations, at 6pm on a Friday night (our original plan fell through don’t judge!)Of course last but not least was the fabulous dynamic dishes we were served. We started with a few little bites that packed a flavorful punch; butternut squash and ricotta surrounded in fried golden puff topped with pomegranate seed melted into the mouth exquisitely. We shared the lamb tartare which was uniquely served with the crunchy bit on top of the tartare. Next up we shared a radicchio salad of sorts with grapefruit, meyers lemon, and black olive ash. A total harmony of delight. We continued into our main dishes, which I was trepidatious to choose the vegetarian option of turnip mushroom cakes with lentils, however I adored my dish and enthusiastically preferred it over my companions swordfish. We finished with a sweet note with their chocolate caramel pannacotta. It was a delightful dichotomy of sweet and salt and smooth and crunchy.Treat yourself to their quality service, ingredients, atmosphere and culinary artistry.“
“Oh, this place is a gem. Service was fast & attentive, the food was phenomenal, and the dessert honey cake was the topping of it all. My partner and I ordered 4 appetizers, shared the goulash entree, & ended with the honey cake and I don’t think anything could have been better. Wonderful place to eat for a lovely Friday night dinner!“
“Point Easy has become a *go to* for a date night for me + my husband. A true neighborhood gem, the space is just the right vibe between upscale and casual (aka well designed w incredible lighting) + the menu rotates seasonally with a ton of options ranging from fun snacks + veggies to pastas + proteins. The staff is super knowledgeable + friendly. Looking forward to patio season here, too (with plenty of shade!). Highly recommend.“
“Root Down was the perfect layover stop for this recent vegan. I was looking for something vegan-ish that was a little heavier than breakfast since I hadn't eaten before my first flight. I Googled "vegan restaurant in the Denver Airport" and found Root Down. The person who greeted me was great giving me all of the possibilities for vegans. She mentioned their plant based burger was made in-house with broccoli and other veggies. That sparked my interest. So I ordered it along with sweet potato fries. Let me just say the burger was absolutely DELICIOUS! Best plant based burger I have ever had... literally. I could tell the ingredients in the burger were fresh. The sweet potato fries were good as well. They were waffled and served in a cute standing dish. My waitress was very nice and attentive. Root Down has lots of seating, even tables for one with space to put your luggage so you can keep an eye on it. While the atmosphere is very interesting and eye catching with decor here and there and great views of the planes outside, Root Down is handicap accessible. Root Down is worth a try if you happen to have a layover in Denver.Vegetarian options: There are a handful of vegetarian options.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that goes through the restaurant from the entrance.“
“Nocturne is the perfect classy date night spot! I've been several times over the last few years, I still get excited the second I walk past the check in curtains and into such a phenomenal space. The vibes are amazing, cocktails incredible, the staff is lovely, and of course the music is always the best part. Nocturne is absolutely one of my favorite gems in Denver.“
“5 star restaurant food for incredible prices in a casual atmosphere.I has the short rib. The meat was extremely tender, well seasoned and delicious. Fluffy light mashed potatoes, delicious pan sauce.A real game changer for amazing food quickly and affordably.“
“After nearly a decade of anticipation, I finally had the pleasure of stepping through the doors of Potager, and it was every bit as enchanting as I had imagined. For years, I had heard whispers of its culinary prowess and unique ambiance, and to have the opportunity to experience it firsthand was truly a dream come true. The no cell phone policy, which initially intrigued me, became a cherished aspect of the dining experience. In a world where constant connectivity often distracts from genuine connection, Potager provided a sanctuary where conversations flourished and memories were made without the intrusion of screens.I must commend the wait staff for their impeccable service and genuine hospitality. It was the creative pine butter that truly stole the show for me. As someone who has a penchant for unique flavor combinations, I was intrigued by the concept, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The subtle hint of pine intertwined with creamy butter created a symphony of flavors that lingered long after the last bite of golden beets—a culinary masterpiece that I will undoubtedly reminisce about for years to come.In retrospect, my visit to Potager was more than just a dining experience; it was a culmination of nearly a decade of anticipation and a testament to the power of perseverance. As I reflect on the memories made and flavors savored, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to finally experience this culinary haven. Without a doubt, Potager has secured a special place in my heart, and I eagerly anticipate the day when I can return to indulge in its delights once more!“
“In the eclectic heart of Denver, a city that thrives on the unexpected and celebrates the unconventional, Duo Restaurant stands as a culinary sanctuary, offering a symphony of flavors that resonate with the soul of the city. It’s the kind of place that would have intrigued Anthony Bourdain, with its commitment to simplicity, authenticity, and the sheer joy of eating.Duo is a nod to the harmonious interplay of contrasts—a place where the rustic and the refined, the playful and the profound, coexist in delightful synchronicity. The ambiance is a blend of warmth and sophistication, a backdrop that sets the stage for a culinary experience that is both grounded and transcendent. At the heart of Duo’s ethos is a celebration of local ingredients, transformed through a lens of creativity and care. The menu is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to the farm-to-table movement, with dishes that are as vibrant and dynamic as the city itself. Each plate is a canvas, where colors, textures, and flavors converge in a way that is both artful and deeply satisfying. The cuisine at Duo speaks the language of Colorado, infused with global accents that add depth and dimension to each dish. Whether it’s a perfectly roasted vegetable, a cut of meat cooked to succulent perfection, or a dessert that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and savory, the food here is a reflection of a kitchen that cooks with intention, passion, and a profound respect for the ingredients.Bourdain, with his penchant for places that embody the spirit of their surroundings while offering something uniquely their own, would have appreciated Duo’s commitment to the community. The restaurant is not just a place to eat; it’s a hub of local culture, a space where the lines between diner, chef, and farmer blur, creating a shared experience that is deeply rooted in the Denver dining scene. The beverage program at Duo complements the culinary narrative, with a selection of wines, beers, and cocktails that are thoughtfully curated to enhance the flavors of the food. The service, much like the ambiance, strikes a perfect balance—professional yet personal, attentive yet unobtrusive, adding another layer to the dining experience.Dining at Duo is not just a meal; it’s an exploration, a journey that takes you through the diverse landscape of Colorado’s culinary bounty. It’s the kind of place where stories are told through food, where each bite is a testament to the power of cooking to connect, inspire, and delight. In a city full of culinary treasures, Duo Restaurant shines as a beacon of what makes Denver’s food scene so vibrant and unique—a testament to the beauty of simplicity, the joy of eating, and the magic that happens when a restaurant truly captures the essence of its home.“
“Lovely and knowledgeable staff. It's a cute space with a beautiful patio. It is tucked into a cool neighborhood. The food is good and expensive for the whole experience and quality. They are in competition with many other "new American" farm-to-table type spots in Denver.“
“Simple & Elegant. For me this is one of the greatest compliments. The location is in a wonderful neighborhood, the building is warm and inviting, the menu simple and covers a breadth of savory and sweet ideas all named after towns in North Carolina and a build your own biscuit for those who want to customize. I think the menu had less than a dozen options all focused on biscuits that were just the right size. My Café Latte was very good just wish it had been a little bit hotter. My only issue was the ramkin of jam I purchased was way too small especially for the price. You always need jam with a biscuit.“
“We went here for our late Valentine's celebration and it was worth the wait. The food was outstanding and phenomenal! The bone marrow was so tasty. The duck ragu pasta was well-seasoned. The crispy trout was cooked to perfection. The raspberry panna cotta was light, refreshing and well-balanced! I highly recommend it for a date night or special occasion!“
“We are here for Denver restaurant week and have found a great go to restaurant! Everyone in our party of four loved their dishes, the service was attentive, and my duck confit was amazing. One of the best I’ve ever had. Table 6 is now on our short list of must go places when friends are in town.“
“Love this place! From the complimentary Prosecco to the pre-dessert almond mousse, and oh my gawd that Panna Cotta! Amazing experience, and fantastic service. Our quaint little neighborhood high end dining spot! And we were able to reserve same day on a Friday! Definitely go!“
“I read the reviews of this place being great burgers and it was correct! Definitely recommend the cricket burger, and the option with green chili was chefs kiss. I built my own burger with a turkey burger and it was okay, but the burger was GREAT! Onion rings where good as well. Cute spot!“
“Excellent first time dining there even though we have lived in the neighborhood for years. John does a great job, the portions are generous and the menu very thoughtful and creative. Plus the crispy skin on the duck confit was spectacular! Highly recommend.“
“Holly and her team did an amazing job putting together a beautiful, delicious bridal shower brunch for my daughter last weekend. She was so responsive as we were in the planning phases and I was delighted with the venue. The food was absolutely delicious and reflected an amazing amount of care… Paying attention to the gluten and dairy allergies we needed to work around. We will definitely be back to this gem of a spot and would recommend it for anybody looking for an event venue or just a place to meet for dinner or brunch!“
“Food is always good. Service are great girls I've know a long time. The area is getting really ruff. Saw drug addicts at bus stop a few blocks away getting wasted. Elderly people visit the Restaurant. Is the best one on the block. Just be careful and watchful.“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great spot!!! All things gluten-free! Fried chicken tacos, GF... Amazing! Deviled eggs are delicious! Lobster Mac & Cheese did not disappoint!Friendly staff. Easy to find, lots of street parking available. Large patio available.Interior is beautifully decorated!“
“I went twice during a 4 day visit to Denver. The vibe is amazing. The venue is gorgeous and the views to the mountains from the roof top are incredible. Food was delicious! Loved all the seating options to be outside. I will be back often!“
“I don’t like to consider myself a restaurant snob but I do love to try new places with my partner and we have an exclusive list reserved for only the places in Denver that wow us. The list is short and sweet but we decided to take a chance on this place we happened to walk by last weekend. It was date night and we were happy to see that we could make a last minute Friday night reservation here. I knew it would be good but I didn’t expect it to be this good. This place blew me away. Being from New York, the speakeasy vibe immediately hit me and was nostalgic. The minute we sat down, our extremely warm and attentive waitress, Sydney had us giving each other the look we give when we think we’re about to have an above average meal and experience. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was so cozy and chic. The lamb meatballs might be the best dish I’ve tasted in a long time. Among an often dreary Denver food scene, this place is a cut above the rest and I’m so glad we found a new regular spot. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. *chef’s kiss*“
“Jax offered a decent meal experience albeit pricey. Staff was all very welcoming and friendly. While the bar area had ample staffing there seemed to be only two servers and one assistant for the entire restaurant which made interaction with the server almost non existent. That stated the overwhelmed server we had was friendly the few times we saw her and was doing the best she could. The food was decent but they love their spices and the MauiMaui was served with a paste that had a nip to it that was a bit much for my taste. The bread, served in a butter oil type sauce, was very good but again the sauce was strongly spiced. The chocolate oil cake and Ceaser salad were average. On the flip side the crab cake was excellent with chunks of crab. My wife enjoyed her salmon dish. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the air was set colder than it needed to be. Overall while I was glad to have tried Jax I'm not sure I'd go back as it did not seem up to the very high prices they have. For the prices I had hoped for a higher level experience. A better experience can be found elsewhere at more reasonable prices.“
“The food was amazing! We had a large group and our food included the Bacon Salad, Half Rack of Ribs, Burger & Fries, Buffalo Chicken Mac, Half Chicken, Poutine, and Brisket French Dip. Everything was delicious and the fries were out of this world! Only complaint is that the hamburger bun needed to be toasted as it was soggy and messy. Server wasn’t very attentive and it wasn’t busy but we got fed. Skip the cocktails…$12 to $14 each and EVERYONE SUCKED! I would give 0 stars for the mixologist…stick to water and the food!“
“I tried 3 pastries here and all were delicious! I had a raspberry croissant, chocolate almond croissant, and a parmesan leek pastry. They were pretty busy Saturday morning so it might be a struggle occasionally if you want to dine in. The woman at the counter was super friendly and helpful in helping me pick what to get.“
“The food here was excellent all around. We tried nearly all of the plates and two of the sandwiches. Would not hesitate to come here again. The atmosphere was like Japanese retro futurism mixed with a 1950's diner. But I'm a good way.We didn't try any drinks, but if they are half as good as the food, then this place is a home run.“
“Drove out of our way to try Ben’s while passing through Denver. We ordered online. Pickup was fast and easy. Food fresh, tasty and ample. Restaurant appears to be a ghost kitchen. Somehow my teens knew about that concept. Interesting and not a problem. The chocolate cashew pudding was not as creamy as dairy pudding, but a good option for those avoiding dairy.“
“Food was pretty phenomenal…like not just this or that but ALL of it. Had the Halibut special had 1/2 lb crab legs. Had the surf & turf, the filet mignon was perfect as was the lobster. The dessert was all to die for. Not as spendy as we thought it was going to be. Perfect anniversary dinner !!“
“The food was delicious and the cocktails were excellent. Our server was very attentive and it was cool to not only meet the chef but the dude who made our bread. Convenient parking and a cool walk to the bathroom. Recommend the Tallow candle bread service“
“My boyfriend and I were treated to a dinner at Mizuna and absolutely loved every second of our experience. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were made to feel special, important, and like our business mattered. The real treat, though, was the food. You can tell that care, precision, and passion is put into every dish at Mizuna, matched with perfect wine pairings to make it an even better experience. My boyfriend is a chef and I am a teacher, so it was a treat for us to experience a fine dining experience like this one. We highly recommend Mizuna!“
“Finally got to try this place out. I work down the street and it is delicious! There were multiple items I wanted to try from breakfast foods like juevos rancheros to chicken and meatball sandwiches. I went with the meatball sandwich and it was so good! The service was fairly quick, the place was clean, and they have Gatorade in a can. Can't wait to go back!“
“I cannot tell you how much I love this place. As transplants to Denver, my wife and I were first just looking for somewhere to watch Liverpool matches.Well, this is the place. But it’s so much more than an LFC pub, it’s a community. It’s the greatest atmosphere and a friendly, very capable staff. The food is delicious, the drinks fresh, and we have met some wonderful friends here.YNWA“
“Deep-fried cheese curds were yummy, in a very tasty beer batter! Detroit style pepperoni Pizza covered in pepperoni and the edges of the pizza we're crispy and delish. The Panna Cotta for dessert was a perfect ending. The servers were all very helpful, attentive and friendly.“
“Our favorite night out in Denver. Unbeatable talent on stage and service on the floor. Although the stage is so wonderfully intimate it’s almost tough to tell where the stage stops and the seating starts. Stylish without being stuffy, special and still staunchly inclusive, innovative but somehow still cozy as can be. We are awfully lucky to have Dazzle here in our city.“
“I’m from Chicago and love gourmet dining in that city. Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“
“I was here for lunch, since I was at a convention at the convention center across the street. I was impressed with the place. The staff was very friendly. I had a grilled ahi salad, which was fresh and excellent. I had a couple of "Face Down Brown Ales" (Telluride Brewing Company, 8% EtOH -highly recommended), which made the remainder of the afternoon conferences a little more tolerable.“
“We were in last weekend for brunch and my whole group had a wonderful time. The food was quick and delicious, I especially loved the pancakes, and the restaurant was clean. I wanted to especially thank our server Jill, she made my team feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make sure that every person felt at home. We were raving about her all week at the office. Even mentioned how everyone should treat our customers like Jill in a meeting today (why I even remembered to right this review). Thanks BSH!“
“My FAVORITE place for not only happy hour but for surf & turf! I have been coming to Logan street for 3 years now and have had superior service every. single. time.Whether I sit at a table with friends or my mom and order wine and surf and turf or sit at the bar and order wine and a caesar salad, I’ve NEVER been disappointed.I’d like to give a HUGE shoutout to the team who has taken care of me and have made me feel right at home:Maddie, Cillian, KT and Corie!!!This is by far my favorite spot to come too for not only the food and company but the atmosphere as well.I hope one day you will do brunch!! I have great ideas for this restaurant and have SOOO many friends who would come join for regular dining and brunch!Thank you Logan street ❤️❤️ love you all!!!“
“OMG ? amazing cute place you have to try! It has a great little happy hour menu. The wings were fantastic. I did the barbecue bourbon. Staff was incredibly helpful. I also had an old fashion that came out. Perfect. I don’t know how much I like my old fashions. The amazing manager also let me have a couple of the tequila bottles that I had been wanting to be able to make a oil dispenser out of so again best service fantastic people huge bar to sit at enough parking to fill this place twice over. You should not have one problem finding parking.Parking: Huge area that has plenty enough room to back up“
“This is my new go to spot for brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and drinks. All around the staff, atmosphere, and food are too notch. It’s a must hit for the Highlands. Favorites are the brunch toasts, elevators cocktail, and steak dinner. And don’t miss the new daily specials!“
“*UPDATEThis review was for the previous owners (Beast&Bottle) before they had to let it go in December. I have not been there since then.I can’t describe how much I love this place. This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. I was skeptical because of the reviews and that it’s attached to a hotel but after eating there I know I’ve come across something really special.Even though it’s attached to the Hyatt it’s an independent restaurant and locally sources their ingredients. The time and attention they put into making sure they serve the best ingredients shows in the flavors and creativity of their dishes.Don’t come here expecting your basic American food. Okay? If you want that, go somewhere else. Here, they delightfully surprise you with complex flavors that are familiar to the palate and somehow even better than the classic version of that dish. The creativity and talent it takes to make cohesive and pleasurable dishes are not something you see everyday. But Apple blossom definitely can give you that. Also, TJ, the gentleman who took care of us was amazing. Friendly, humorous, personable and thoughtful in his recommendations to us.I can’t wait for our next visit.“
“I have only been living in Colorado for 5 months, but this was the best experience I have had going out. The staff was amazing, engaging, and beyond friendly. The food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fun. I will definitely be going back...again and again. ❤️“
