“We visited Guard & Grace because it is a Michelin inspector recommended restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice. The food is awesome! Just a bit salty for me. Not many restaurants season a fish 24-hour ahead of time, the black cod is really tasty! Filet Mignon was also really good, loved the desert as well!“

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

Although the stage is so wonderfully intimate it’s almost tough to tell where the stage stops and the seating starts. Upon arrival, he gave us complimentary welcome bubbly (a mocktail for me) and was so sweet and welcoming! The treats didn't stop there - he also brought us some marinated olives (outstanding) and a blueberry dessert mousse as I was unable to find a dessert I wanted due to a gluten allergy. Joey is an asset to Luca and truly made our experience phenomenal! Beyond that, the food and cocktails were fantastic. My husband got the bolognese and said it was amazing and I got the GF lobster fra diavolo which was also delicious. I loved that they made their own GF pasta! Definitely a must-go if you're in the Denver area! Ask for Joey!“

“I'd like to say that the food and the atmosphere won us over tonight, but on this rare occasion, our server earned all the accolades! Collin was absolutely delightful. Super knowledgeable, extremely kind, prompt, charismatic and at the end of the meal, we didn't want to leave! As for the food, my husband and I both felt the Caesar salad was the best we have ever had, the ricotta was creamy and flavorful, and our main dish was a special that blew our minds out of the atmosphere. For dessert Collin highly recommend the butterscotch bread pudding. Dont tell him we would have ordered it anyway, because it was so enjoyable to see him so excited about it! If you leave without trying this dessert, you will deeply regret it for the rest of your life. Every single aspect of every dish was well thought through and even the plating was beautiful! 13/10.“

“Me and two friends made an appearance at this restaurant on June 14th (2024) and it was a very enjoyable experience. We were vacationing in Denver and this placed looked welcoming, I had no idea that it was a hotel restaurant. The space was lovely – well-lit, plenty of seating, there were an appropriate amount of TVs, and the decor was modernized. The prices were a bit high but thankfully we went during happy hour and got to enjoy ourselves on a modest budget. Our server was a quick-talking, seasoned black woman who knew almost everything you could ask. She took our orders without pen or paper, offered advice on the menu and even gave us local recommendations. We ordered Umami-flavored Cauliflower wings, hot wings (Umami and spicy pineapple), and jalepeño poppers. The Umami flavor was incredible – a great source of spice, heat and flavor – we had it on the cauliflower and the wings. The Jalepeño poppers were spicier than expected but still great! I ordered a Moscow mule while my friend ordered a pear martini. All wonderful drinks. We then escaped to the rooftop bar. We were welcomed by two great hosts and there were plenty of seats to choose from. We all ordered our drinks again to enjoy the ambiance of the rooftop. We also ordered the cheesecake which, honestly, was a but underwhelming. It was a twist on a blueberry cheesecake but it wasn’t as satisfying as it could have been. The crust wasn’t as stiff as I’d like and the filling was doing everything but it’s job. But, we still loved the experience and would return if we were in the area.“

“In a sea of overly pretentious bars in Lower Downtown (LoDo) Denver that try to be something they aren’t or will never become, Ice House stands relatively alone as knowing and being what it is… A Neighborhood Bar… with great prices, food and the most welcoming atmosphere in the area.

The service is great, with most of the staff being long tenured and further cultivating the notion of a neighborhood bar, where you’re met with not only a friendly face, but also a friend. Nick, Victoria , Adam, Martin, Erin, Kevin and Ashley, plus so many others are what truly make this place special and remaining the place for those that truly appreciate the fact that there is a “ Cheer’s” bar at sheer doorsteps from both Union Station and Coor’s Feild.

The food is great… the pizza is top notch and formally staid bar food is made a bit more interesting with the unique options - like cream cheese on a BBQ pizza - that work exceptionally.

The patio is amazing and the interior, while bemoaning “neighborhood bar” is not only inviting, with a huge circular bar that invites interaction and conversation, is exactly what it needs to be… open, spacious, and fun (pool table, Golden Tee and other social gaming devices). It shouldn’t be anything else!!!

If you’re looking for a fun, chill place that has great staff, great food and where you may just find yourself looking for a “home base” with interesting people, and and even more exceptional staff, you’d be hard pressed to find anything better than the Ice House Tavern.“

Upon reflection, our group of 4 decided it was not our favorite menu - all previous ones have been exceptional - and it was a sweltering evening to be on the fabulous patio - that surely impacted the experience. Which I'm very glad that I did because it turned out to be a very pleasant evening and turned out we were the only ones there at the end of the night and stuff and the food and everything was just absolutely magnificent I had the roasted garlic chicken. Dessert was chocolate cake and chocolate milk which was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely be coming back because it was just a real great experience. Looking forward to come back and check out the happy hour??

went there and invited by a friend of mine. She really talked it up but I am a morning person who travels all over the world for the real good eggs benedict and she convinced me there at Benedict would be right up there with the number three spot. Far from it I ordered ham with it because there was no meat and I don't mind vegetarian eggs Benedicts my son owned the only vegan restaurant in Jefferson City Missouri and so used to adding and takeaways to Good eggs Benedicts. When I realized there was no ham took it back to the kitchen they all looked at me blank and I could tell by the crowd they were training or in training with new staff and I had a plate of two slices of thin cut gross ham put in my face is a day ago very disappointing. Butt.... I could see this place had potential . Having had owned companies /being self-employed for 50 years. At least hopefully the owner would somehow comp my friend that invited me there, but who knows?“

My husband and I both had breakfast sandwiches, mine was the Green Eggs & Sam which reminded me strongly of a significantly upgraded (but sadly discontinued) Mediterranean Egg White sandwich from Panera — it was on focaccia bread which was clearly baked from scratch in-house that day.I also got the hot chocolate and it was clearly made with steamed milk and chocolate sauce, sooooo much better than any other hot chocolate you can get at coffee shops or in stores.I will say though that they messed up our order and the order of the table next to us; not sure if this was a recurring thing or if it was just a fluke that day. They fixed it right away.Great little place to grab a bite to eat. Not a ton of seating as they did seem popular, but it seemed like it would be easy to order ahead for carry out also.“

The restaurant sources their wheat locally and sends it to a local mill for processing to flour. Try the pasta!! Order the caprese salad is delicious. We ordered it after our dinner. It was a fresh, delicious end to the meal. Go here! Additionally - we went to breakfast the next morning. Everything here is fresh. The fruit bowl was cold and ripe and fresh. The sausage was house made, seasoned well and very tender. The house made sourdough and jam exceeded expectations. It was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Service is impeccable.“
