“Great food even better staff“

“I like dining at the CO Mills Yardhouse rather than the one in downtown Denver, off 16th Street. I am writing regarding the state of the women's toilets at Denver West; I have raised this issue before with staff to no avail; I tried sending an email but it bounced back. The stall doors do not close properly. The hooks to hang handbags behind the stalls are broken. The gaps between the stall door and the edge leave little room for privacy. The auto water and auto soap dispenser in the sinks don't always work. It makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the restaurant. I hope someone will take some action. Thank you.“

“We had my son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at BJ’s in Lakewood. I had to plan this from 1600 miles away but the process was easy and we were able to communicate on all of the details via email. On the day of the event, the manager and staff (Jamilla and David especially) were very accommodating and helpful. Food was great, the drinks were varied and came quickly to our 50+ guests. Thank you so much.“

“We had a wonderful date-night evening at Simms! I cannot recommend this restaurant more. We got the miso bass which was my favorite dish of the evening; and we also got the seared scallops which was on top of a truly devine risotto. Our server Emerson was a true delight and made our experience and evening even more enjoyable. When we return, and we will absolutely be returning soon, I will have to request Emerson's service.
The view at Simms is absolutely gorgeous and really sets the mood.

The wait staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and lightning fast—seriously, I think our food arrived before we finished deciding what we wanted to drink!
If you're visiting, you have to try the tacos. They were fantastic and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Between the great food, excellent service, and welcoming atmosphere, this place is well worth a visit. Come hungry—you won't leave that way! 🌮😄🍽️“

“What a phenomenal experience my husband and I had tonight! First off I should say we have never experienced a dining experience like this before and we were not sure what to expect, but we were blown away from start to finish! As we first walked into the restaurant we were greeted with a huge smile and warm welcoming from the host Lana, who kindly sat us at our table. Immediately as we were sat we were greeted by Adam the bartender with a glass of champagne! I mentioned I was pregnant and couldn’t not drink and he immediately apologized and offered me a sparkling nonalcoholic champagne. My husband also ordered a cocktail and Adam was very thoughtful and made me a mocktail (actually 2 different ones) both were absolutely delicious. After we were settled in that’s where the fun began. The Head chef Michael came to the table and introduced himself and explained the menu along with asking us if we had any dietary restrictions, or didn’t like anything specifically. We ended up going with the Chefs tasting menu to get the full experience. Each course was brought out by the Head chef or a staff member and was explained to us in detail of how he came about the dish itself along with how it was made and the ingredients. From the mini plates to the main course to the mini dessert to the main dessert everything was made with passion and love for food! My husband and myself are both very blown away from this whole experience and very grateful for the way the staff and the entire team worked together to make this an unforgettable experience that will never be forgotten!“

I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was great. I got to meet the awesome serving team and head chef, everyone was kind and made sure to check on us. I watched all the staff work together to make sure our food for a party of 40 was delivered quickly. “We really enjoyed our birthday dinner for two at Hillstone. We shared "Osaka Style" pressed sushi, spinach & artichoke dip and grilled heirloom artichokes - a delicacy IMHO. I chose a New Zealand white wine (having just returned from NZ) and it was excellent. The restaurant was near capacity when we arrived and we were seated within a few minutes of the time of our reservation. Table service, the wait staff and the assistant manager who checked on us were very attentive, very professional and very friendly. Top flight in every way.“

“This is my favorite restaurant! The food has a sensuous and complex flavor profile while also being rustic Italian. You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. The pasta is hand made and has a perfect texture and amazing flavor with the sauce. The house made buratta is the freshest, creamiest and thickest you’ll enjoy outside of select NYC restaurants that are famous for making their own mozzarella, ricotta or buratta. And the staff treat their guests like they’ve invited you into their own home. Jessica was amazing! All together, going to Luca’s is like getting the perfect big warm hug.“

“My husband and I are very loyal customers to Hungry Goat! We visit at least once a month, sometimes more. Food is great! The drinks are even better! (Especially the espresso martini!) The staff is always so kind and friendly. Unfortunately though, lately we have been disappointed. We have ordered the Steak and Frites and more times than not, we have received a steak that has a lot of fat on it. Today, my husbands steak was half fat. I couldn’t believe it was even served to us.. we love this place so much and it’s been really disappointing.“

“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“I’m from Chicago and love gourmet dining in that city. Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“

“Visited Denver for a weekend and stayed at the Motel 6 right next to McCoy's. Went in for a late breakfast, got biscuits and gravy. This place was dope. Authentic diner atmosphere with really good food. The giant cinnamon roll was out of this world, definitely something you'd want to share. It's a restaurant that's worth checking out.“
