“Middleman is an amazing cocktail bar. We also LOVE the food at Misfit Snack Bar (which is part of Middleman). The burger is always on the menu (and is amazing) and they rotate their menu frequently. The drinks are super unique and inventive. The staff is lovely and they make everyone feel like regulars. They also host really fun events. We recently went near Halloween and they hosted a pumpkin carving contest with fun prizes and swags. Highly recommend!

“This place is out of this world!!! Unbelievable fresh seafood, and the fried and fresh oysters were phenomenal! We got there at happy hour and ordered a bunch of stuff, and it was so good, we then ordered dinner too! Stuffed, but not weird greasy cheeseburger stuffed, happy stuffed! Dior was the man too! “Best ramen EVER! We stumbled upon Uncle over a decade ago, and since then anytime we’re in CO we come for dinner. The spicy chicken ramen is hands down the best, love all of the bao buns, eggplant is my favorite, but can’t go wrong with crab or pork belly ones either. We’ve never had anything bad, service is always great too! Be sure to make a reservation.“

“Love the cozy, airy vibe here; the super friendly and knowledgeable staff; and the creative, flavorful dishes. The pricing is very reasonable, too.

The chicken liver toast ($10) is not only gorgeous, but also delicious and full of different textures. Their Texas toast is made with high-quality heirloom grains, which I also thought was cool.

Popcorn chicken ($10) was fantastic! Juicy inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, but not too crunchy or overbreaded. Highly recommend any of their fried chicken dishes after having that!

The sashimi platter was beautiful and tasted great, but at $26, I’d honestly pass on this next time and get sashimi at a sushi spot.

The dry-aged half duck was sooooooo good! Perfectly cooked and so much flavor, even in the purple lettuce leaves on the side (not sure exactly what they were). It’s the most expensive main at $78, but considering the quality and that it is easily big enough for two, I’d say that’s reasonable. I’d love to try the pork chop char siu next time ($65) — and their wagyu short rib is only $58 (all these are meant to be for two people).“

“Laura, the bartender, was incredible—professional, kind, and assertive in her direction to both the server and food prep staff. She truly stepped up to keep things running smoothly, demonstrating qualities that are absolutely manager-worthy. However, I was surprised to learn there was no manager on-site. While Laura handled the situation impressively, having a dedicated manager present is important to ensure a well-run operation. She made an impression even though I was just a to go order. Kudos to Laura for going above and beyond! Merry Christmas, Laura.“

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“You guys charged my card NINE times tonight for my one bill, turning my $37 bill until $333 and now won’t answer your phone. Your bartenders were taking shots at the bar, which I usually don’t care about but now I can see they can’t handle their booze. 20% gratuity was included on my bill before I checked out, assuming now the bartenders are now getting that 20% of the $333.“

“I went here while in town on business, and it is seriously one of my top five dining experiences. Everything - decor, drinks, menu - was unique and exceptional. The menu was small but clearly carefully curated and had something for even the pickiest eater in our group. We shared appetizers, entrees, desserts and cocktails, and every single thing was exceptional. The chefs are true culinary artists. “It was amazing. We got Hamashi, tuna ceviche, horchata, papas bravas, and some other drinks. We loved the hamashi tiradito. It was crunchy, spicy, and flavourful. The tuna ceviche combined perfectly with the chicharrones, and the horshata was perfect since it had some coconut in it. 100% recommended.“

“Good, almost great. The food is good but isn't very authentic and seems to lean heavily on salt and sugar to make it tasty. Having Chinese characters/Pinyin on the menu (where I was the only Chinese person in the entire restaurant) feels like the food should be authentic. Also, serving rice in a takeout container feels a little offensive given the sacredness of rice as the foundation of a Chinese meal.
However, the spice is nice and the flavors pop well if you're not expecting truly authentic flavors and are used to Westernized cuisine. Definitely above average for Asian food in Denver, but I'd recommend South Federal/Broomfield/Aurora for better and less expensive Asian food.
For the price and all the added service fees, I would have expected full service and food served in non-plastic dishes. It's a nice way to try some dishes without venturing out too far.“
