“Had a wonderful experience here! I was down the street and googled coffee shops to eat, dine in and work remotely at. This place is fantastic. They have several different UNIQUE flavors and styles and food options too. Erin was extremely friendly and so helpful. Offered me options to customize sweetness, guided me through the menu and even asked if I had a song request. She later came back and checked on my experience. Jason provided yummy food and was friendly to me as well. This place is a must-try, unless you don’t like, a good friendly local place with good food/drink and lovely atmosphere. If ever back in the area, I’ll definitely stop by. Thanks Erin and Jason for a great first experience :)Ryan”
“My absolute favorite coffee spot in the city! Reasonably priced with lots of syrup options and a wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend the chorizo burrito!Dietary restrictions: Lots of milk substitutions available for no additional cost”
“Much better breakfast place than the standard American food. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. Glad my husband found this cafe!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options and they can make some breakfast items vegetarian as well”
“I love Tokyo Premium. My mother and sister come here regularly and now that I've moved away from Colorado, every time I come back to visit my family, I always stop by this place. I feel like it's the only spot in Colorado where you can get really good matcha and hojicha lattes. Make sure to give the earl grey croissant a try and if you've ever had an egg sandwich in Japan and want to try making one yourself, buy the shokupan. Otherwise, they have sandwiches available as well.”
“Such a delightful café! The food is amazing, especially while sitting out front at a little table. The staff is so pleasant. I've had the croissant sandwiches and the crepes so far. So delicious! I honestly can't wait to go back.”
“I've always loved this place! More of a quiet vibe of the inside if you want somewhere to work/study, but the patio has heaters. They have the best apple cider (though it's only seasonally).Dietary restrictions: Alternative milks and have GF pastries”
“Busy for a good reason. I got the ham and berry chèvre and WOW. Talk about a taste bud tantalizer for a great price.Has an old school house aesthetic. I’d know my grandma lived in one.Don’t pass this place up if your visiting from out of town.”
“The parents and I were able to take our annual (usually lol) pilgrimage to this decadent establishment for some dine-in treats and of course take some treats back home for the holidays.Dad and I both had 72% dark hot chocolate (mine with regular & his with almond milk). Mom had 61% dark hot chocolate (with oat milk). They shared pumpkin bread while I had a chewy chocolatey chip cookie (both warmed up).Our take home treasures consist of chocolate covered Oreos and a handpicked assortment of chocolate truffles.Beyond thrilled to have a chocolatier of this caliber in our backyard. They are inventive, creative, dedicated to making the finest products and truly a fine group of people that takes such great care of their customers.”
“Don't let the location fool you. Tucked inside an otherwise unremarkable strip mall on Alameda Avenue, Café Ciboulette is a true delight. And the real charm of the quaint cafe is the owner. My wife is partial to her chai tea lattes -- it has to be done *just* right. The quality of ingredients and the skill employed resulted in an otherworldly chai tea latte -- one she will be hunting down the next time we're in Denver. The quiches and Belgian waffles didn't disappoint either.”
“We ALWAYS come to Rise and Shine when we visit Denver because they have the best biscuits!! A must stop for breakfast. Make sure you get there early on the weekends because they get busy fast. Staff is super friendly. It’s next to Sloan Lake which makes a great stop to go eat your sammie. Oh and great a hash brown for sure!”
“Neighborhood hot spot, great place to people watch if you're on the market for baby strollers or a new dog. The outside line moves quickly, drink options are plentiful as are the bakery items and breakfast burritos sourced locally. Had 5+ iced americanos here over the course of a week and each was smooth, strong, consistent. Great coffee shop.”
“The minute you step into the building you will be hit with the undeniable smell of fresh goods. There are a few cute stores and food options but this bakery is a must. The service is unmatched for, with genuine enthusiasm, knowledge and experience. The Nata pastries are a must ( I was so lucky to catch the last one in a batch and I would have got a dozen more:))), the chocolate, nuts babbka is amazing and on Fridays and Saturdays they bake real Halla bread. Don’t get intimidated by the line, it is there for a good reason - they pay personal attention to each costumer and the baked goods are completely worth it!”
“I'm obsessed with this spot. I probably visited over ten times last month LOL let me tell you why I love it.1. Quality drinks. Add ons to drinks- the salted caramel latte with CBD (iced) is my go-to. I will gladly pay $9 for coffee from here. Like take my money plsThey also have a huge variety to pick from!2. All the food I've tried has been 10/10. From the breakfast sandwiches to the avocado toast- just YUM.3. Cutie spot to work from! And good wifi. Not super quiet but that doesn't bother me lol also has outside seating.4. Staff and service- staff is always warm and kind. Service is super quick. They don't allow dogs inside but you can sit outside with your pup like I did :)Will def be returning. You should check it out too!”
“So good! Recommend to anyone in the area who just needs a quick lunch. Absolutely hits the spot for a great sandwich. Fresh bread, yummy meats and delicious flavor combinations. Their variety of sand which choices is amazing, I have a hard time deciding. The staff went above and beyond and super personable. My food was made in less than 5 minutes... probably closer to less than 2! They even brought my to go order out to my car since my baby fell asleep (and you know, can't leave dogs or kids in cars...). Will definitely get agin when In that part of town.”
“Decent coffee place on right on the parkPluses: #1 location, this is my go to when I want to walk my dog to the park. Its gorgeous. #2 the food. I believe its all gluten free, which isn't something im ever looking for, but I do have to respect when a place can turn out great treats with that kind of restriction. The coffee itself, not my favorite, but ok. I swear they dont know the difference between a cappuccino and a latte, which is fine, and Im not a coffee snob, but they always seem more milk heavy than they should be. Also, dont bother ordering online, I thought it would save time. Nope. Maybe at Starbucks it does, but here it puts you at the back of the line. Which honestly I respect because it sucks to be standing in line and watching people come in and get served while you wait. And Ive never waited long just ordering at the counter. That being said, if Im coming here I focus on the teas not the coffees. The teas selection is much more artisanal and probably deeper than anything else you can get in the area without going to a teahouse.”
“I was a little skeptical about this matchmaking service, but after many installations (and uninstallations) of apps like Hinge and Bumble, I finally decided to give Lekker a try. Couldn't be happier with the results. They also sell coffee, which is quite delicious, and the staff are delightful people.”
“Always stunning location. Service outstanding. Sandwiches and scones superb along with lemon curd and Devonshire cream. Did not care for any of the deserts. Tasted and seemed commercially prepared. Odd flavors. The special cupcake brought for those celebrating birthdays was...a nice gesture but awful. Mocha flavor and the frosting was hard and seemed stale. Not a wise choice especially if the birthday was that of a younger person. Disappointing. The music was a wonderful addition. It was easy to have a conversation despite the room being quite full. So helpful.”
“My favorite place for breakfast, great customer service, food comes out fast & it’s delicious. Five stars too the whole staff and our amazing waitress Lisa for her great service & checking up on us during the whole time at the restaurant.”
“Don't get too confused; This place is two stores in one. They do have a comradery for assistance, though, so that's cool. But after I got out of my confused stupor, I visited their hard cider section. Quite honestly, I dig it. The place offers a wide array of interesting flavors, from traditional apples to pine needles (which I do reccomend). Their menu also changes by the season, so it's encouraging to visit periodically.”
“So sad that we didn't find them until our last day in town but better late than never! We are self proclaimed cold foam lovers, we were so happy to see this offered! We got the campfire cold brew and iced rocky road latte, so yummy! We've tried several coffee shops in the area and this is definitely the best! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, not to mention the staff were some of the friendliest people we've encountered here!”
“My girlfriend has been asking to go here for months. I finally had the time to take her this morning and it didn't disappoint! The wait was about a 45 minute wait on a Saturday morning which wasn't too bad. The food had great flavor and the portions were great! It was very up beat with a lot of younger crowd, i will definitely be coming back”
“Neighborhood cafe with Ethiopian / activist vibe (though menu is Western). Have dozen tables and comfy chairs inside. Eclectic music on audio. Large patio with about a dozen tables, a few under a covered area. Decent loose leaf tea. Small menu of lunchy things plus ice cream. .”
“It's always nice to run into new cafes/bookstores - this is a lovely place to stop by quickly or pass a few hours. The espresso was good but probably not in itself a reason to stop. There are only a few books, so don't expect lots of variety or options, though it's still nice to browse them. The vibe is great!”
“This is a lovely cat cafe (though it's more a cat experience/relaxed adoption center than a cat 'cafe').Every one of the kitties is an adoptable, and they were all extremely chill and happy little floofs. The DCC works directly with a sister cat shelter, and the kitties come directly from there. Most are adopted within days, making it a great model for finding kitties forever homes.I would happily come back!”
“My favorite coffee shop in Denver. Delicious coffee and food (triple almond milk latte is my order + their pesto flatbread and bowl are so satisfying, but all the breakfast sandwiches are great! They even have GF muffins and treats) extremely friendly staff and service, and just the best, cozy vibe. Drop by and feel at home. Dog friendly!”
“I love this place. Super comfortable, welcoming atmosphere with friendly owners and baristas. Delicious coffee and food, lots of gluten free options, super reasonably priced. This places is local and FAR better than any chain coffee joint!Dietary restrictions: Lots of yummy options that are gluten free, including bagels!”
“This is a gathering place that is family friendly. The food is simple but good but also not the reason that you would come here. You would come for the friendly people that also go there, the friendly atmosphere and the staff.Kid-friendliness: There is a play area for small children”
“We were passing and stopped in because my daughter enjoys a good book store. We had a great time! Drinks were good and the service was good. Sometimes you have to wait for quality…and that was the case. All in all…great time with the family.”
“High quality service and product. I had a flat white with a nice Ethiopian s.o. espresso. The milk was steamed to perfection and I could tell the barista was passionate about his craft. It looks like they have a wide variety or single origin pour over and espresso offerings. I would recommend a visit for anyone who is serious about coffee. It also looked like they had a nice variety of teas and pastries.”
“My wife and I came in to Denver from Houston, and used the Source app to find this spot. The coffee was banger. We tried the Yam Queen and Sopaccino. Yam Queen was basically fall in a cup. Sopaccino tasted like childhood Sopapillas. Definitely would recommend!”
“I am Vietnamese and from Houston, which is known for its amazing Vietnamese food, but I think Bánh Mì station has the best bánh mì sandwiches and spring rolls I’ve ever had. Even better than what I’ve eaten in Vietnam. Their bread is absolute PERFECTION and I love the jasmine iced tea. The prices are reasonable, especially considering how big the sandwiches are. And the owners are also really nice.”
“Dandy Lion Coffee was a joy. The Kyoto coffee is amazing, and the plants, the greenhouse, and the overall atmosphere is just awesome. if you're a plant lover, a coffee lover or both this is the perfect place. I particularly enjoyed seeing so many products I never knew about, the plant and coffee stickers and greeting cards are awesome.”
“100% deserves the 4.9 review. On a four day trip we came here three of the four days. The pour over is beyond proper. My husband loves pour overs and we even learned about a new tool watching them make it. We live in brooklyn and we can’t find a proper pour over spot in our neck of the woods so this was such a treat. The breakfast burritos were great because we needed more substance then pastries we got the bacon one two times, with the verse sauce. Yum! The ice tea was great too, lemon grass Hibiscus. We enjoyed this intimate little coffee shop so much, it made our trip!”
“Small and cozy. We came at closing and the proprietor still allowed us in to place our order and serve us. Some seating, but not a lot. Not sure if this place has been here long enough to build regular clients, but if/when it does, seating might be an issue. Great coffee, good menu, great service.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“Amazing tasting coffee. Got an oat lattee and the beans were not super acidic or floral (not the biggest fan of super bright coffee beans)!! Lovee the drive through and convenience to the Zoo and highway! I feel like people could've been a bit nicer but overall would come again!”
“This is my favorite coffee spot! Food is always made fresh and super tasty, drinks are creative and delicious. Staff is friendly, and vibe is super chill. They provide outdoor and indoor games, couches, good places to connect over a coffee, and queer owned to boot. This is always a top place to bring out of town visitors. Love these guys!”
“Surprised to see that they have coffee available on tap. We ordered their japanese iced coffee and flat white. The flat white only comes with one size, which is a good indicator that they know their stuff. Needless to say, we both enjoyed our drinks.”
“Drip coffee is balanced, bright and interesting. A medium blend today that's hot and fresh-- I am crying right now. No styrofoam or plastic wrap anywhere near my flaky fresh croissant. No pumper pots keeping the coffee lukewarm. Service is kind and friendly. Ambiance is great by CO standards. They also have fresh, locally brewed on-tap kombucha. I am so in love.”
“A knock out from start to finish. The service was stellar. The food was amazing. Everything came out quickly. The prices were great especially for the portions. The shrimp and grits are to die for. The biscuits melt in your mouth. The spicy bloody mary is a must and don’t forget to start with beignets!!”
“A wonderful, bright open space to enjoy a relaxing morning, get some work done, and relish in traditional Central American cafe options. The coffee is delicious and food options vary within an exciting Guatemalan menu. Tradition, love, and care are well represented here in this cozy space.A welcome addition to the neighborhood, come here for people who actually care about quality service and product, plus you might learn/taste something new from this beautiful cultured cafe!”
“What an awesome spot. This has to be the coolest coffee shop on this section of Colfax. I’m not a coffee drinker myself, but my friends that have visited with me say it’s a pretty good cup of joe. I’m more of a kombucha guy, and I love that they have 8 to 12 varieties on tap that they make in their wheat Ridge Factory. The orange sherbet is incredible. I’m also a sucker for anything with ginger in it. Lots of seating, fast Wi-Fi, and usually I can find parking right out front. Definitely a good spot for a meeting, or remote working.”
“I genuinely think it is the best coffee shop in the US. I’ve been to many, and this is the best. The coffee is real, the vibe is incredible. It is the perfect place to drink something good, and open up the laptop.Wheelchair accessibility: I’m not a wheelchair user, but I do work in the accessibility industry. Seems fair here.”
“Husband and I have been trying ‘small batch’ coffee shops in and around Denver/Colorado or wherever we travel, since coming home from Europe last summer where we enjoyed many such shops. We always strive to try a new to us place every time we have coffee out, which is way more than we should of course. lolHuckleberry’s was worth the wait! We’ve been wanting to try it for awhile. The shop is cute, clean and has tons of personality. The building is accessible but I’m not sure about the restrooms. The barista we talked with was friendly and the vanilla lattes were yummy. We prefer them a bit hotter than we were served but the flavor was awesome with not a hint of bitterness to the coffee. We sat outside at a picnic table and ended up having a nice conversation with a man in town visiting his son from PA. It was a gorgeous, Colorado blue sky morning and we enjoyed the outdoor space tremendously. We’ll definitely visit again next time we’re over in that area and we think you should too!”
“You will not be disappointed here! Everything was delicious! We ordered the chicken street rice, pork street soup, green curry and Kho Soi with fried chicken(my favorite). Food was authentic and the flavors were perfect. Had the mango mojito to drink and mango sticky rice for desert. The family loved everything!”
“The only reason I'm willing to share this is because they are so efficient and fast, and even though it's super crowded all the time, you can get your food and it is truly awesome. If you are staying at any of the hotels on Tower Road, this is the place to go. Just read all the other reviews and look at the menu. If you like Asian and especially if you like Vietnamese, run don't walk, over here. They have an astounding menu of funky iced teas and blended drinks and everything Boba you can imagine. While you sit there and eat, you will watch easily 50 to 75 or more people come through and pick up to-go orders. You know that the locals love this place. I'm kind of a s***** for vermicelli, and it's incredible here, but their dumplings and spring rolls and Pho are all top-notch. 5 stars. Highly recommend.”
“Took a weekend trip with my friend to Denver and stumbled upon this place. I was so impressed with their coffee’s consistency. 4 days straight we came here for coffee and each day a new barista made my latte. Each day the latte was absolutely PERFECT. Milk wasn’t burnt and the ratio of milk to espresso was perfect. Hard to find a coffee shop with this kind of quality, not to mention how friendly the staff was!! It was the perfect spot for us to adopt for the weekend.”
“Born and raised in New Orleans. This place has been on the list for some time now. The shrimp & grits were really good. The andouille really set things off. However, the grits were a little too watered down, wish they were a little thicker to uphold the gravy. The biscuits were good with the pepper jelly. We also had the Carlin County. Sausage gravy was awesome. The beignets should be complimentary or taken off the menu. The dough was too dense for a beignet. Plenty of seating and roomy. Overall a good experience.Parking: About 16 spots behind restaurant. Some street parking.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere, not too loud”
“I went for the anime month they were doing where they have anime themed drinks and it was great! Not gonna lie, it was a little steep at 8-9 bucks for a drink, BUT I get it that it’s the novelty of it being a drink themed after a specific anime. And credit where due, it wasn’t just a standard drink with a Dragon Ball Z name thrown on it. They were beautifully made, unique, cool colors and VERY tasty. The star shaped boba gummy things in the Sailor Moon drink were a nice surprise and so tasty. Visit during October 2023 if you can! Highly recommended.”
“Came here on a trip to Denver and ordered a variety of pastries, and every single one was amazing. We ordered the German chocolate mousse cake, the key lime tart, the old fashioned donuts, and a small Devil’s Food chocolate Bundt cake. Not a single dud in the bunch, literally every single one was super delicious. Kind and friendly staff, in a lovely part of town. Will be returning!”
