“We were riding bikes the other night and noticed the bakery so I got up early on Sunday and rode over there. I arrived at 8:05, 5 minutes after opening, and there was a line out the door. It was about a half hour wait and all along I was concerned that they would run out of chocolate croissant. Let me just say, it was well worth the wait. the server was recommending the raspberry cookie to everyone so of course I had to get one. It did not disappoint, with fresh raspberries bursting out in melty goodness. I also ordered the cinnamon morning bun, the strawberry cream cheese danish, and the chocolate croissant. Everything was perfection!“
“Came in the other day to do some school work. It took a bit to get through the line, but the baristas were extremely friendly and welcoming. The iced latte with hazelnut was delicious, as was the ham croissant. The natural lighting in the room was perfect. And using headphones to dampen the sounds was just right. Will definitely have to come back.“
“Went for the key lime after word of mouth rec as best in Denver. they were out by midday (more supporting evidence that theirs is the best in town) I tried the veggie pot pie. Thanksgiving flavors. Reminiscent of the veggie gravy at atomic cowboy if you know it you’ll def love it. The caramel apple bourbon didn’t let me down. Who doesn’t love a good crumb crust? The French silk made a nice little bday gift to a friend. Customer service friendly and cool I can’t think of anything these folks could do better except make more pies ❤️“
“Pastries are absolutely incredible, and beautifully prepared. Service is always kind, helpful, and wonderful. The presentation of both the food and the entire bakery in general is classy and beautiful, and the entire place just gives off an aura of class while still being affordable.“
“It might just be the best bakery I've ever been to. My group split a few pieces and we couldn't get over how well put together and tasty each piece was. Many of them are stuffed with chocolate or fruit and not only are the flavors well balanced but so are the pastries themselves. I never once felt like anything was going to just fall apart and create an unmanageable mess. Really lovely food.“
“I should have taken pictures but the food was yummy and I was hungry. I had the grilled pork bánh mì. DELICIOUSNESS! Baguette was crisp and soft, the pork was flavorful and the vegetables were fresh. Just enough spice. Had the Thai tea to wash it down. Lunch is done. I will return.“
“Visiting the vibrant Denver market was an experience to remember. The moment I stepped into the bustling Denver Central Market, I was greeted by an array of scents and sounds that promised a feast for the senses. With its eclectic mix of vendors, the market is a food lover's paradise, offering everything from handcrafted chocolates and artisan cheeses to fresh seafood and meats. One of the highlights of my visit was stopping by Izzio's Bakery. The bakery is a gem nestled within the market, known for its artisan breads and pastries. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods wafting through the air. I decided to indulge in a cinnamon roll from Izzio's, and it did not disappoint. The pastry was perfectly baked, with a soft, fluffy interior and a golden-brown exterior that was just the right amount of crispy. The cinnamon was not overpowering but instead added a subtle spice that complemented the sweetness of the roll. The bakery also offered a selection of beautifully crafted desserts. Although I didn't try them all, the display was enough to tell me that each item was made with care and attention to detail. The reviews I had read mentioned high-quality desserts and a good selection, though some noted the prices could be on the higher side¹. However, from what I tasted, it was worth every penny.Overall, my visit to the Denver market and Izzio's Bakery was delightful. It's a place where quality, variety, and atmosphere come together to create a memorable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend taking the time to explore this culinary haven. And when you do, make sure to treat yourself to something from Izzio's Bakery – you won't regret it.“
“This place is horrible please don’t go there but if you do can you get me a curry bun and a matcha donut and the hot dog thing and the bacon thing. But yeah like I said STAY AWAY from here. The prices may be AMAZINGLY reasonable and the treats might be delicious but you’d probably hate it so go somewhere else thanks :-)“
“A review from a French guest I brought:I liked everything : the food, the service, the decoration and even more the bread !I’m French and the food it’s absolutely worth it. Also the details and the decoration of this restaurant/bakery are just amazing.“
“The food is delicious, the price is right, the staff is friendly and fast, and it's a wonderful place to sit for lunch. I got the lemongrass chicken bahn mi and it was perfection in everything you're looking for in a bahn mi. 100% will be “
“Thank you so much for the amazing order that you were able to put up for me yesterday - shashlik, lamb chops, rice, and adjika. Everything was very fresh and tasted great! everyone loved it, and I ended up having a great worry-free birthday party.“
“The best cookies!!! Nutella filled snickerdoodle, red velvet, the kitchen sink….and so many more. I’ve yet to try them all but I am working on it. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Cute little spot to bring the family for a quick cookie. Or order 12 dozen like we did for a party. They were a huge hit!!!“
“Admittedly, having a hot latte to go in a glass jar was a bit odd, but I got around to the idea. Smooth espressos, really delicious pastries with extensive variety. Can be quite busy on the weekends and the line goes out of the door because there isn't too much space inside to line up. Not knocking it against them of course, just be prepared in the summer as you will have to stand under the sun.“
“Reunion is the best bakery in the state of Colorado, hands down. This bread is the only thing keeping me sane during quarantine. They always have a wonderful variety of delicious breads, but recently on the weekends, they've been offering bundles that are so much fun and a welcomed break in the monotony of a covid world. Recently I purchased a bread and butter flight (!!!! I know!) And they had a memorial weekend package with meat from a local butcher, veggies, pickles and aioli from acorn. I don't care that I can't go anywhere for the holiday, I'm taken away by reunion! Plus they had brioche buns in the package, which I'm making lobster roll (buns?) with! Their staff is wonderful and help out in any way they can. They now offer local deliveries too! I want to be selfish and keep them a secret, but they're too amazing not to share.“
“Randy Moyer got me a carrot cake from here for my birfday! It was NEXT LEVEL, easily the best carrot cake in Denver!! The cream cheese frosting was perfect and the pecan coating was a special touch. The staff enjoyed it immensely and we can't wait for another CAKE. Thanks Jason!!“
“I asked for a Pokémon cake for our son’s birthday, sent a few random things I liked, and picked up this AMAZING CAKE!! Exactly what we wanted and was SO WELL DONE. Aside from the deliciousness, it was cute as heck. Thrilled to find someone close to us that we now know can deliver quality. Thank you!“
“I tried 3 pastries here and all were delicious! I had a raspberry croissant, chocolate almond croissant, and a parmesan leek pastry. They were pretty busy Saturday morning so it might be a struggle occasionally if you want to dine in. The woman at the counter was super friendly and helpful in helping me pick what to get.“
“Petunia is a neighborhood favorite with bakery classics, some made with a Mexican twist (spotlight on Birria croissant)! There’s a really delightful spread, everything from macarons and birthday cake to hearty sandwiches and Chilaquiles. It hits the spot and I hope the shop can continue to grow roots and become a local staple.“
“We went to visit and walked from Corpus Christi to Denver, my cousin took us to this bakery. We really liked it so much that we brought 4 bags full of bread because it doesn't compare to the one in Corpus. Every time we go again we will buy it because it is It's delicious, big and the lady is very kind, she even gave us the bread to try, highly recommended ????“
“Fantastic service and so clean - all the pastries in the case looked so fresh and phenomenal! Enjoyed a beef borek (so flavorful & soft!), nutella acma, Turkish coffee (a must), and sobiyet! Everything was fantastic. What a wonderful treat! I hope the community keeps them very busy“
“My sister in law and brother in law both have Celiac disease and it’s always a bummer that they have to miss out on bread. We first had Deby’s bread at the Melting Pot in Littleton and my entire family was amazed at how good it was. We recently moved to Georgia and the Melting Pot here carried a different bread that wasn’t as good. I messaged the Melting Pot in Littleton and asked what bread they carried, and they told me it was Deby’s. I contacted them about having some bread shipped to me and someone got back to me right away. They shipped my order the next day and it arrived 2 days later. This bread really is amazing. I heated one of the dinner rolls for 10 seconds in the microwave and put some butter just to taste test, and it was incredible. I’m so excited to serve this on Christmas!“
“This was my first time here and I could not have been more impressed! The lady at the counter gave me a very helpful run-through of all their pastries/sandwiches/drinks and helped me pick out exactly what I needed. I got the a açma, börek, and Turkish coffee, which were all delicious. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!“
“This was my first time here, and I am so glad I came here. The place is instagram worthy and the sweets are so good. I took them out their box and took a few pics! The moment I took a bite, I blinked, and everything was gone. I even mistakenly ate a little bit of the fork thinking I still had cake on it Will come back 10/10“
“I ordered the sourdough and tumeric onion breads. At first, this was a simple solution to the problem of my usual bakery being closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but oh my... Big Raven is my go-to, now! I've lived in Denver for a few decades, missing East Coast bread, and this may be the best bread I've had since I moved here. I think the tumeric onion bread is for a limited time, but it is fantastic - so I'm excited to see the other "limited" flavors on offer in the future. The sourdough isn't too sour, which is a plus for me (I miss NY-style Portuguese bread). It's very easy to order online. Communication from the owner was excellent. Pick-up is simple, and there are a few ways to pay. Enjoy!“
“What can be said that already hasn’t? Food is amazing and our server was literally THE BEST. Gave us a sample to try something we were asking about which was a nice touch.FYI if looking for Denver Biscuits - it’s part of Atomic Cowboy. I heard several people in the parking lot asking where it was.“
“I ordered a custom Super Mario themed cake through Cakes by Gyo and working with them was extremely seamless. They are friendly and accommodating and delivered an exemption cake which was beautiful to look at and even tastier to eat. I cannot wait to order another cake by them in the near future.“
“Under the Umbrella Cafe is one of my favorite neighborhood go-to places. Today, I had enough time before my commute to stop for a grab & go breakfast burrito/latte. They were so quick with my order that I ended up being earlier to work than expected, even though there was line in front of me. Not only to do I love this place for a quick weekday/weekend grab & go, but it's so good I take my guests & visitors here before a day at the museum or a hike. Their coffee & matcha are always delicious. Their eggs are so fluffy! As a vegetarian, I love the Sharon breakfast sando & the veggie breakfast burrito. The almond poppy seed muffin is another go-to! I'd give this place another star if I could. <3“
“I’ve been here a few times and have always had a great experience! I love the concept of just walking up to the window and ordering outside. They give my dog a treat every time we come, which is really nice. I definitely recommend the veggie breakfast burrito and the blueberry almond croissant. They have a nice variety of hot and cold drinks, and plenty of baked goods to choose from. Will definitely be back soon!“
“Chelsea was great to work with! She was very responsive & quick with her communication. We ordered 40 sugar cookies for my baby shower. They were rattles, bottles, onesies, & rainbows. They turned out so cute!!! These were hands down THE BEST sugar cookies I have ever tasted in my life. So full of flavor & a great texture. I will definitely be ordering from Chelsea again soon.“
“It’s all so very tasty! The multigrain pullman loaf maybe my singular flavorful thing they bake — it’s super flavorful, it’s well baked, it’s large. The savory & sweet pastries are not to be slept on either tho — the chocolate croissant are amazing, the danishes are fun, and morning buns are a delight.“
“To the Rebel bakers: I am your number one fan.I recently moved to Denver and was introduced to Rebel Bread at the Sunday Pearl Street Farmers Market. So happy to find out they also have a retail counter open Thursday-Saturday so I don't have to wait a week!I'm working my way through their fanstic menu, but so far the cinnamon roll has my heart. It's not a doughy cinnamon roll....more of a distant cousin of a croissant. Layers of buttery-flakey cinnamon sugared pastry dough. Nom!You can't make a bad choice. You could close your eyes, point at a pastry in the case, and be happy with whatever you go home with. All the retail staff are fantastic, but I've gotten the pleasure of getting to know Nikki and Annabelle and they are so delightful.“
“The bakery here is an absolute treasure in Wash Park. Everything I've had here is delicious, and I can't wait to try the rest of their buttery catalog. My only beef is that the baristas are a tad grumpy. Worth a frown for the galette, though!“
“This place is dangerous if you live a block away. The croissants are like nothing I’ve ever had. I really felt like I was in France while eating it this morning. Almost to the point I thought I should bust open a bottle of wine since it was probably 5 o’clock in Paris.“
“Wow found a new gem. Talk about the fluffiest and most flavorful sandwiches in Denver. As bonus every sandwich comes with a mini light cinnamon roll. I can't imagine how much better the roll could taste hot and fresh out the oven because it's so great as a side.Definitely recommend getting a sandwich in either a croissant or a ciabatta. We got the sausage and the sunny. Both did not disappoint.Chai tea was not too sweet and overall prices are decent here! Can't wait to come back to try out more things!“
“Really good doughnuts. First timer. Happened to stop by on a day where they lost power. Didn't even notice til they mentioned it lol. Lots of variety. Honestly wasn't expecting to be wowed but yeah... super flakey and soft and delicious!! if I lived here, I'd come back very often!“
“For one the shop is beautiful, the staff were super friendly and accommodating to what we needed. We ordered a cake a few days ago for my birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect! They had a wide variety of desserts! We will be coming back, I definitely recommend this shop to everyone!♥️♥️“
“One of my favorite Vietnamese bakeries in the area. It truly is a hole in the wall type of place. It is very small with an equally small, slightly sketchy looking parking lot. The interior is a no frills or deco type of bakery and is all grab and go. They aren't as busy or offer as much items as their competitors, but I wouldn't write them off because of it. I'm happy to say that their deals on the sandwiches (buy 5 get 1 free) and the pate chaud or banh bao (buy 10 get 1 free) are still going strong. We ordered 2 sandwiches, 10 pate chaud and 1 banh bao for my son. Everything we had tasted delicious and the prices were decent in comparison to their competitors. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. I did feel like my grilled pork sandwich could've used my meat in it, but that's my only complaint. I do prefer their pate chaud over most of the other bakeries in the area though. The flavor is just so much better.“
“Cool little Cafe not too far from Trader Joe's, Denver Health, and the Broadway corridor with a ton of food, drink, and pastry options. It was almost overwhelming! If you are looking for a cute spot to have a conversation grab a bite to eat, this might be the spot. If you're looking for a spot to sit and get some work done while enjoying a latte, it's setup more like a Cafe and may not be the spot to do so.“
“If you like very sweet desserts this place is for you; otherwise, if you like mild-sweetened baked goods probably look elsewhere. The place is cozy inside, staff is very nice and friendly, they have great selection of tea and coffee; however, I tried 2 baked products and they were okay. Cheesecake was overpowering sweet, but I know some people like it, empanada was good, but a bit too dry, but I’m not sure if it’s how it’s suppose to be. I enjoyed my hot chamomile tea, but it was served in a to-go cup, which when heated emits harmful micro plastic. Other customers seemed happy, so I guess it is just picky me. I probably won’t be back though. The good thing is the place is affordable, so you can try it for yourself and see what you think.“
“3.7 star average for this place is not remotely accurate. I'm not really in to sweets but this place is fantastic. I frequently bought mermaid cupcakes for my team for birthdays etc, never had a bad experience. When you walk in it smells so amazing, they should bottle the air and sell it.“
“This new branch of the beloved DTC restaurant executes exceptionally well on classic French dishes like Salad Nicoise and Moules Frites with a nice wine list to match. Ambiance is more upscale and evening oriented than DTC. With protein entrees in high 30s and 40s, be prepared to spend some money. Maybe not the I-don't-feel-like-cooking tonight spot we in the neighborhood hoped for. Yet with style and food that far outclasses others in 9&Co, definitely worth a planned outing now and then.“
“On a cold and snowy day, my boyfriend and I needed a warm pick me up. Nothing was better than the homemade lemon blueberry scone and pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. Both were excellent with fresh ingredients and wonderful flavor. Even better, the service was great and the atmosphere homey. We just found our new favorite bakery.“
“I was searching high and low for latkes and was thrilled to find them at Zaidy's!! They were delicious and the strawberry jam unique and I will be ordering more in the near future. The bakery goods were amazing and I will be purchasing some of those as well when I return.“
“Super service!! Always so kind!! They make my life easier by ordering by phone and paying by zelle!! My favorites are the shells! I place my orders for my parties and events that invite me and every time I take them they love them and they also make me look good ? Everything is delicious!! ??? 100% recommended ??????????“
“I got a honey cake and a slice of lemon cake and they were both delicious! The honey cake was fragrant and tasted like there was a hint of orange blossom in it. The lemon cake was just the right amount of sweet. 5 stars for the food, I'll definitely be back. The only feedback I'd give is to put more descriptive labels on the pastries with Greek names to say what's in it. I started asking the woman at the cashier what some of them were but she seemingly started to get a little annoyed with all my questions lol.“
“Excellent food, from the burritos to the sandwiches. Excellent coffee options. Great price.Vegetarian options: Great choices and they will accommodate.Kid-friendliness: Friendly options for kidsDietary restrictions: Accommodate a variety of restrictions.“
“Shoutout to the gentleman working 3/20/24! He was very kind and generous after I had grabbed my old bank card and couldn’t pay. The iced matcha latte is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is very lively and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a drink. Cafe Zuri has always been a favorite and I highly recommend them!“
“I got one of Lisa's small dog cakes for my puppy's one year birthday last week. It was a very cute and reasonably priced cake, and both my girl and her puppy friend loved it! Would highly recommend Biscotti Hound if you're looking to get a bday cake for your pup, and definitely plan to return for future purchases!“
“The bread was fresh and delicious. The chocolate filling was not overwhelming sweet. It's perfectly right. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shop was small and you could see the baker making fresh doughs. Highly recommended! Definitely will be back!“
“The croissants at this bakery are excellent. They are flaky but then buttery in the middle. They have a variety of other pastries and the service was top-notch. The person behind the counter was very friendly.Vegetarian options: Mostly meat free itemsParking: You need to find a spot on the street which is not always easy.Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family.“
