“Ammonia reminds me of the Greek bakery in Chicago near where I was born 78 years ago. Its plain, unpretentious interior and hearing people speak Greek while enjoying their pastries and coffee give it a very warm charm for me. And they have the best spanakopita and yalaktaboureko.“

“WOW! 🤩 As someone who works remote, I am always on the hunt for a place with great food, coffee, and ambiance. Usually I can only find 2 out of 3, but I’m happy to report Petunia is the exception!

I walked in and was blown away by their extensive bakery choices, breakfast and lunch menu, and bright space.

Ordered “The Boss” bagel sandwich and a mocha and posted up at one of their tables on the patio. Within about 7 minutes I had my coffee and sandwich, made fresh to order.

They have plenty of outlets, even on the patio, a strong WiFi, and an ambiance that made for the perfect workspace.

I am so glad I found Petunia’s and can’t wait to come back!“

Not only are their pastries and breads head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to quality of ingredients and quality of taste, but their team is equally as impressive! “The baked goods here are delicious and the people are very nice. We have had tried their Naan, large Barbari style breads and their sesame bread. All of their breads have been awesome. The first time I went in it was pretty late and everything was put away but the last time I went they also had some pastry offerings up front. “The best panderia in the Denver area. I got a variety of things, but my favorite was the pumpkin empanada. Everything was very fresh, not too sweet, and tasted homemade and authentic. Prices were extremely reasonable, the self-service area was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. They also carried a variety of grocery items, fresh meat, hot food, prepacked and/or imported foods, and many other goods. If you'd like to buy conchas or other pan dulce in bulk, you can even call ahead and order a dozen. I'd definitely return and would recommend.“

“It's a little store connected to the Entenmanns bakery. Lots of beads, donuts, pastries, they sell some bimbo products, and little bites, too. The only thing that's kinda annoying is they have all kinds of the little bites muffins, except the ONE I was looking for. Otherwise the store is very clean, well lit, it's just basically one large room with small aisles. Easy to find things. I love this store.“

“Wednesday, March 19, 2025 JULIETS coffee group visited VIVA! Mexico Cafe thanks to Pat's recommendation! It was wonderful. Great Huckleberry Coffee. The toast with beans, meat (ham, steak, or chorizo) melted cheese topped with avocado, chopped tomato, and onion was delicious based on five JULIET reviews. The cafe is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Street parking on Eudora. Owners: Husband and wife Elisa Garcia and Leonardo Munoz-Corona (Leo/chef). Daniel was our barista. Leo was very gracious, explained the menu items we were not familiar with, and showed us the freshly baked rolls and pastries. Highly recommend it and will be back as a regular.“
