Flaky, perfect pastry complements delicious fillings that include seasonal selections (the peach and plum Danishes are both outstanding), and the people are incredibly nice. “The Flour Shop Colorado provided the dessert for my son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The chocolate chip cookie cake and other assorted cookies were a hit with all of our guests.“

Part of the charm is how simple it all is. Jeff bakes the bread and lets customers know when orders are ready for pickup. We don’t always catch him when we stop by, but that somehow makes it feel even more like a neighborhood treasure. If you get the chance to try it, do yourself a favor and grab an extra loaf.“

“Ammonia reminds me of the Greek bakery in Chicago near where I was born 78 years ago. Its plain, unpretentious interior and hearing people speak Greek while enjoying their pastries and coffee give it a very warm charm for me. And they have the best spanakopita and yalaktaboureko.“

“Clean facility can see everything being created! The croissants were flaky. The fruit tarts were a little dry. The layered crepe cake was delicious. Enjoyed the local art that is available to purchase in the hallway. Parking is in back. Snow removal is very bad and very slick!“

“Watan Restaurant in Aurora really does not mess around when it comes to Afghan Kebabs. There's nothing quite like watching them fan the coals, grilling those Kebabs over the open flame, and then sliding them hot straight onto fresh naan. Would recommend trying to give them a visit; they are under new management, new owners are awesome great people. Would definitely go again and try their other dishes as well.“

“Do you love Mexican culture and food? What about Mexican baked goods? This bakery has it all, the bolillos, the pinguinos and the conchas are my personal favorite. The menudo and champurrado with the bolillo are such a great combination on a Sunday morning. I will never go anywhere else, this is the place to be!“

“WOW! 🤩 As someone who works remote, I am always on the hunt for a place with great food, coffee, and ambiance. Usually I can only find 2 out of 3, but I’m happy to report Petunia is the exception!

I walked in and was blown away by their extensive bakery choices, breakfast and lunch menu, and bright space.

Ordered “The Boss” bagel sandwich and a mocha and posted up at one of their tables on the patio. Within about 7 minutes I had my coffee and sandwich, made fresh to order.

They have plenty of outlets, even on the patio, a strong WiFi, and an ambiance that made for the perfect workspace.

“Our cake was decorated beautifully. The cake yellow cake was not moist but the raspberry filling was delicious. The instructions were to refrigerate until an hour and a half before serving. When we were ready to eat it the frosting was thick and not and soft like a butter cream frosting should be. We would try their pastries but would not buy another cake. Their cake prices are high comparted to other bakery cake prices.“

She gave great tips for executing a recipe successfully, starting to experiment with colors/flavors and shapes, and how to use different kitchen tools. It was fun hearing her tell about a training course she took with Amary Guichon! I would 100% recommend taking a class with her and would happily take another one in the future!“

Not only are their pastries and breads head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to quality of ingredients and quality of taste, but their team is equally as impressive! “The baked goods here are delicious and the people are very nice. We have had tried their Naan, large Barbari style breads and their sesame bread. All of their breads have been awesome. The first time I went in it was pretty late and everything was put away but the last time I went they also had some pastry offerings up front. “It was my first time going here and it was so amazing! The pans were delicious and it opens at a perfect time (8AM) an hour before the other panaderías! I got 1 horn, 1 long one with the creme filling, 3 conchas, 1 pink cookie, and 2 besitos and it totalled to $12! I love that they also have little accessories for cakes and candies and drinks! They do take Google and Apple pay. And cash I believe. I love the plants and the decorations they also had around the store!“

“The best panderia in the Denver area. I got a variety of things, but my favorite was the pumpkin empanada. Everything was very fresh, not too sweet, and tasted homemade and authentic. Prices were extremely reasonable, the self-service area was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. They also carried a variety of grocery items, fresh meat, hot food, prepacked and/or imported foods, and many other goods. If you'd like to buy conchas or other pan dulce in bulk, you can even call ahead and order a dozen. I'd definitely return and would recommend.“

“It's a little store connected to the Entenmanns bakery. Lots of beads, donuts, pastries, they sell some bimbo products, and little bites, too. The only thing that's kinda annoying is they have all kinds of the little bites muffins, except the ONE I was looking for. Otherwise the store is very clean, well lit, it's just basically one large room with small aisles. Easy to find things. I love this store.“
