“Spruce House Bread has ruined store-bought bread for us. We regularly buy two loaves because one somehow disappears way too quickly and nobody in our house can agree on who got more than their fair share.
Part of the charm is how simple it all is. Jeff bakes the bread and lets customers know when orders are ready for pickup. We don’t always catch him when we stop by, but that somehow makes it feel even more like a neighborhood treasure. If you get the chance to try it, do yourself a favor and grab an extra loaf.“

“Ammonia reminds me of the Greek bakery in Chicago near where I was born 78 years ago. Its plain, unpretentious interior and hearing people speak Greek while enjoying their pastries and coffee give it a very warm charm for me. And they have the best spanakopita and yalaktaboureko.“

“Our cake was decorated beautifully. The cake yellow cake was not moist but the raspberry filling was delicious. The instructions were to refrigerate until an hour and a half before serving. When we were ready to eat it the frosting was thick and not and soft like a butter cream frosting should be. We would try their pastries but would not buy another cake. Their cake prices are high comparted to other bakery cake prices.“

“Great place! A lot of variety for baked items with a menu of breakfast dishes as well. Really loved how fresh everything tasted and will definitely be back. Staff were also extremely nice. We enjoyed the lemon poppy seed scone which was very moist and buttery, along with the breakfast croissant which was a very solid breakfast sandwich.“

“The baked goods here are delicious and the people are very nice. We have had tried their Naan, large Barbari style breads and their sesame bread. All of their breads have been awesome. The first time I went in it was pretty late and everything was put away but the last time I went they also had some pastry offerings up front. “It was my first time going here and it was so amazing! The pans were delicious and it opens at a perfect time (8AM) an hour before the other panaderías! I got 1 horn, 1 long one with the creme filling, 3 conchas, 1 pink cookie, and 2 besitos and it totalled to $12! I love that they also have little accessories for cakes and candies and drinks! They do take Google and Apple pay. And cash I believe. I love the plants and the decorations they also had around the store!“

They did a chocolate chip cookie cake for my gym's 2-year anniversary celebration and it turned out so cute, we didn't want to cut it but it looked so tasty we had to do it! It was incredibly delicious, just like a yummy chocolate chip cookie, in bar form once it was cut into small serving-size pieces. The frosting was perfect, not too sweet, just right. “The best panderia in the Denver area. I got a variety of things, but my favorite was the pumpkin empanada. Everything was very fresh, not too sweet, and tasted homemade and authentic. Prices were extremely reasonable, the self-service area was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. They also carried a variety of grocery items, fresh meat, hot food, prepacked and/or imported foods, and many other goods. If you'd like to buy conchas or other pan dulce in bulk, you can even call ahead and order a dozen. I'd definitely return and would recommend.“

“It's a little store connected to the Entenmanns bakery. Lots of beads, donuts, pastries, they sell some bimbo products, and little bites, too. The only thing that's kinda annoying is they have all kinds of the little bites muffins, except the ONE I was looking for. Otherwise the store is very clean, well lit, it's just basically one large room with small aisles. Easy to find things. I love this store.“

“The Korean guy who runs this place is a really nice person. It was my first time there today and we bought quite a few things to taste. If you like chesnuts, he makes a lot of chesnut centered bakery item. The cheese bread was good (my daughter loved it and ate it all - she’s really picky too). We will definitely be coming back as regulars to this guy. The guy is super kind which I feel like gave his bakery a lot of character. He had generously given us samples of things too. Give it a try if you like things like Japanese moist cakes and other asian pastries. He does some European style stuff like the cheese bread, etc etc.“
