“So I really haven't had a chance to taste the really good looking food yet! I went in for an application and the place is actually a pretty cool environment. I never knew it was in the location it's in but it's not to big, not to small with great people who work there. Hoping to find out more if given the chance.“
“This family-owned business is the gem of Denver. We moved to town last fall and bring every friend who visits here. You may have to wait a few minutes to get seated but it’s easy to pass time at the bar. The staff is personable and warm, and their cannoli — particularly the pistachio one — is the best I’ve ever had! Their vodka sauce is also to-die-for. Definitely stop by for arancini, and make sure you order an Italian soda with cream.“
“Lovely owners and staff! Great, welcoming space. Yummy sandwiches, pastries, and more. Love the addition of the plants.Parking: Parking in front and around backKid-friendliness: Good food options for kids, too, and welcoming environment for them“
“The croissants at this bakery are excellent. They are flaky but then buttery in the middle. They have a variety of other pastries and the service was top-notch. The person behind the counter was very friendly.Vegetarian options: Mostly meat free itemsParking: You need to find a spot on the street which is not always easy.Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family.“
“We were riding bikes the other night and noticed the bakery so I got up early on Sunday and rode over there. I arrived at 8:05, 5 minutes after opening, and there was a line out the door. It was about a half hour wait and all along I was concerned that they would run out of chocolate croissant. Let me just say, it was well worth the wait. the server was recommending the raspberry cookie to everyone so of course I had to get one. It did not disappoint, with fresh raspberries bursting out in melty goodness. I also ordered the cinnamon morning bun, the strawberry cream cheese danish, and the chocolate croissant. Everything was perfection!“
“Went for the key lime after word of mouth rec as best in Denver. they were out by midday (more supporting evidence that theirs is the best in town) I tried the veggie pot pie. Thanksgiving flavors. Reminiscent of the veggie gravy at atomic cowboy if you know it you’ll def love it. The caramel apple bourbon didn’t let me down. Who doesn’t love a good crumb crust? The French silk made a nice little bday gift to a friend. Customer service friendly and cool I can’t think of anything these folks could do better except make more pies ❤️“
“I work from here about once a week. The staff is friendly, supportive and operates with clear intentionality to be welcoming and inclusive. I love the art and the atmosphere. I also run into a lot of community organizers and folks who are committed to supporting this area of the city--really a very rare and wonderful local spot that is one part coffee shop and one part community space. Their seasonal menus are also really great!“
“Excellent Dutch bakery, everything we tried was a 10/10. Will definitely be back. It’s difficult to find a good European bakery in the Denver area, I’ve tried lots, and this one takes the crown.Parking: Wide openKid-friendliness: Kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely wheelchair accessible.“
“I ordered on doordash and the dasher brought the wrong order, I called the biscuits bakery and They offered to bring me personally my correct order! we just went and picked it up instead, they where so awesome, seriously this is the first time I've ate here and it won't be the last, these are the best biscuits in colorado!“
“It might just be the best bakery I've ever been to. My group split a few pieces and we couldn't get over how well put together and tasty each piece was. Many of them are stuffed with chocolate or fruit and not only are the flavors well balanced but so are the pastries themselves. I never once felt like anything was going to just fall apart and create an unmanageable mess. Really lovely food.“
“I should have taken pictures but the food was yummy and I was hungry. I had the grilled pork bánh mì. DELICIOUSNESS! Baguette was crisp and soft, the pork was flavorful and the vegetables were fresh. Just enough spice. Had the Thai tea to wash it down. Lunch is done. I will return.“
“This place is horrible please don’t go there but if you do can you get me a curry bun and a matcha donut and the hot dog thing and the bacon thing. But yeah like I said STAY AWAY from here. The prices may be AMAZINGLY reasonable and the treats might be delicious but you’d probably hate it so go somewhere else thanks :-)“
“Great experience but not really a market like ones in other states. Grab a smoothie and something fresh like a tuna poke bowl or shrimp ceviche, or some amazing pork tacos, fish tacos. Finish up with a milkshake or some chocolate croissant.“
“Traveling for work, I found myself in wheat-ridge for 6 months. I was craving some sliced Italian deli meats and some Italian sweets and found this place nearby according to google. Omg I found heaven!Sliced my meat for me while I picked out some cannoli and pizzelle. Calabrisi was spicy good! I’ve since moved again but while I lived in wheat-ridge, I visited this place every two weeks.“
“A review from a French guest I brought:I liked everything : the food, the service, the decoration and even more the bread !I’m French and the food it’s absolutely worth it. Also the details and the decoration of this restaurant/bakery are just amazing.“
“The store is bright and airy, the staff was very nice and helpful with suggestions on my visit. The grilled pork banh mi was fresh, crispy, crunchy, sweet, tart the whole gambit. I have to confess I ate the whole thing, so I got my sweets to go and haven't tried them yet. Oh I also had a flan Vietnamese iced coffee which has a flan at the bottom of the cup, coffee on top. It was very tasty, but a little chunky...maybe I should have eaten the flan at the end with a spoon instead of breaking it up with my straw? Either way, I'll be back!Parking: There is a lot behind the bakery that is for customers of the building. Also street parking in front.“
“BEST BEST BEST CROISSANT IN ALL THE LAND! Whether you're a sweet or savory croissant connoisseur, you'll find the right bite here. The pastries are made with such care and beauty that you almost feel bad diving into them. That thought leaves you quick, though. The moment your teeth sink into the crunchy layers: you're eyes will light up, dopamine will rush to your brain and you will want more and more! Luckily, I knew this would occur... so I ordered three croissants! Cinnamon Roll Croissant, Reuben Croissant and Almond Croissant. They were all more than impressive and won medals in our hearts: GOLD to the Reuben, SILVER to the Cinnamon Roll, BRONZE to the Almond. Truthfully, someone else could have placed these differently. They were all flawless and uber delicious!! Other great parts: The service is super friendly! There's plenty of spots to eat! The parking is easy! The line goes quick!“
“The food is delicious, the price is right, the staff is friendly and fast, and it's a wonderful place to sit for lunch. I got the lemongrass chicken bahn mi and it was perfection in everything you're looking for in a bahn mi. 100% will be “
“The best cookies!!! Nutella filled snickerdoodle, red velvet, the kitchen sink….and so many more. I’ve yet to try them all but I am working on it. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Cute little spot to bring the family for a quick cookie. Or order 12 dozen like we did for a party. They were a huge hit!!!“
“I wish there was a 6th star to give.Parking was tough but worth it. The patrons were all happy and after my experience I see why. The staff was helpful and friendly. We unfortunately had to get the coffee to go, but will back to enjoy the experience. Got spiced Turkish, I'm not a strong coffee person but it was amazing. Got and suggest the rose water to help keep up. The pastry we got were amazing. Almost ate the wrapping just for fun ?. I totally recommend going and will probably see you there ?“
“Gargaro’s is an awesome no frills old school Italian bakery and sandwich shop. The sub sandwiches are huge, especially for the price. If you get the grinder be sure to add capicola for a little extra! All of the breads, pastries and cookies are amazing. They also have an assortment of freshly made pastas, sauce, sausage, pizza dough, sausage and pepper cannolis, cream filled cannolis. This place is legit!“
“Admittedly, having a hot latte to go in a glass jar was a bit odd, but I got around to the idea. Smooth espressos, really delicious pastries with extensive variety. Can be quite busy on the weekends and the line goes out of the door because there isn't too much space inside to line up. Not knocking it against them of course, just be prepared in the summer as you will have to stand under the sun.“
“Thank you so much for the amazing order that you were able to put up for me yesterday - shashlik, lamb chops, rice, and adjika. Everything was very fresh and tasted great! everyone loved it, and I ended up having a great worry-free birthday party.“
“Randy Moyer got me a carrot cake from here for my birfday! It was NEXT LEVEL, easily the best carrot cake in Denver!! The cream cheese frosting was perfect and the pecan coating was a special touch. The staff enjoyed it immensely and we can't wait for another CAKE. Thanks Jason!!“
“Reunion is the best bakery in the state of Colorado, hands down. This bread is the only thing keeping me sane during quarantine. They always have a wonderful variety of delicious breads, but recently on the weekends, they've been offering bundles that are so much fun and a welcomed break in the monotony of a covid world. Recently I purchased a bread and butter flight (!!!! I know!) And they had a memorial weekend package with meat from a local butcher, veggies, pickles and aioli from acorn. I don't care that I can't go anywhere for the holiday, I'm taken away by reunion! Plus they had brioche buns in the package, which I'm making lobster roll (buns?) with! Their staff is wonderful and help out in any way they can. They now offer local deliveries too! I want to be selfish and keep them a secret, but they're too amazing not to share.“
“I asked for a Pokémon cake for our son’s birthday, sent a few random things I liked, and picked up this AMAZING CAKE!! Exactly what we wanted and was SO WELL DONE. Aside from the deliciousness, it was cute as heck. Thrilled to find someone close to us that we now know can deliver quality. Thank you!“
“I tried 3 pastries here and all were delicious! I had a raspberry croissant, chocolate almond croissant, and a parmesan leek pastry. They were pretty busy Saturday morning so it might be a struggle occasionally if you want to dine in. The woman at the counter was super friendly and helpful in helping me pick what to get.“
“Discovering Daniel’s of Paris has been a delightful surprise, gracing Aurora with the elegance of a genuine French bakery. We are truly fortunate to have such an establishment in our midst. Each pastry is a work of art, as visually stunning as it is delicious, seemingly leaping straight out of the pages of a gourmet magazine. I had the pleasure of sampling the chocolate ganache and the Paris Brest, both of which were nothing short of spectacular. Daniel’s of Paris is, without a doubt, a culinary treasure!“
“Petunia is a neighborhood favorite with bakery classics, some made with a Mexican twist (spotlight on Birria croissant)! There’s a really delightful spread, everything from macarons and birthday cake to hearty sandwiches and Chilaquiles. It hits the spot and I hope the shop can continue to grow roots and become a local staple.“
“Fantastic service and so clean - all the pastries in the case looked so fresh and phenomenal! Enjoyed a beef borek (so flavorful & soft!), nutella acma, Turkish coffee (a must), and sobiyet! Everything was fantastic. What a wonderful treat! I hope the community keeps them very busy“
“These guys actually have the best breakfast sandwiches in Littleton and maybe even all of Denver area. The egg is cooked perfectly, over easy but just a half cooked/little runny in the yoke. I personally like the sausage better than the bacon.“
“My sister in law and brother in law both have Celiac disease and it’s always a bummer that they have to miss out on bread. We first had Deby’s bread at the Melting Pot in Littleton and my entire family was amazed at how good it was. We recently moved to Georgia and the Melting Pot here carried a different bread that wasn’t as good. I messaged the Melting Pot in Littleton and asked what bread they carried, and they told me it was Deby’s. I contacted them about having some bread shipped to me and someone got back to me right away. They shipped my order the next day and it arrived 2 days later. This bread really is amazing. I heated one of the dinner rolls for 10 seconds in the microwave and put some butter just to taste test, and it was incredible. I’m so excited to serve this on Christmas!“
“This was my first time here and I could not have been more impressed! The lady at the counter gave me a very helpful run-through of all their pastries/sandwiches/drinks and helped me pick out exactly what I needed. I got the a açma, börek, and Turkish coffee, which were all delicious. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!“
“What is there NOT to love about this place?! The pastries are TOP notch, and the space is very cozy and feels very inviting and warm. It smells delicious ? in there too, so be prepared for your senses to pull you in every single direction… They also do cakes and more for occasions, so definitely ?? give them a think about if you’re looking for something ABSOLUTELY delicious and special for a loved one! I love this bakery and will absolutely be making this one of my go-to spots. I will know the owner well by the end of this year, is my goal! ?Parking: There are several businesses in this little strip center, and TLJ is on the end, so it’s often that there aren’t any spaces close by the door… but that didn’t stop me!Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant!“
“Sugar-free/ Keto options!I have looked high and low all around the Denver area for a sugar-free wedding cake and finally found Wave the Grain. Not only do they have sugar-free (a.k.a. keto) cupcakes, they will also make them into a full-size cake! This means I can have both a wedding cake and birthday cupcakes that I can actually eat, too!Amber has been wonderful working with me and this has become my go-to place for dessert. Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Their keto options are considered sugar-free. I would caution anyone against eating too much of the icing at one time, because it does have a little bit higher sugar content than absolute zero. But the little bit that they put on a cupcake is just right. Thank you for fulfilling this small niche in the dessert world. “
“I tried four of this week's cookies today. My favorite was the buckeye brownie -- a chocolate cookie topped with peanut butter and chocolate. Everything about this cookie was perfect. I also loved the semi-sweet chocolate chunk. The caramel sheet cake wasn't quite caramel-y enough for my taste, and I think I'd prefer the cookies & cream milkshake at room temperature rather than cold.“
“I ordered the sourdough and tumeric onion breads. At first, this was a simple solution to the problem of my usual bakery being closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but oh my... Big Raven is my go-to, now! I've lived in Denver for a few decades, missing East Coast bread, and this may be the best bread I've had since I moved here. I think the tumeric onion bread is for a limited time, but it is fantastic - so I'm excited to see the other "limited" flavors on offer in the future. The sourdough isn't too sour, which is a plus for me (I miss NY-style Portuguese bread). It's very easy to order online. Communication from the owner was excellent. Pick-up is simple, and there are a few ways to pay. Enjoy!“
“This was my first time here, and I am so glad I came here. The place is instagram worthy and the sweets are so good. I took them out their box and took a few pics! The moment I took a bite, I blinked, and everything was gone. I even mistakenly ate a little bit of the fork thinking I still had cake on it Will come back 10/10“
“This was a nice pleasant find in Littleton for a quick bite and coffee. They have a large variety of drinks and little bites. We found the rose latte very interesting and tried their famed crepe which did not disappoint. If you can find a place to sit, this is a great spot to just sip and relax.“
“Under the Umbrella Cafe is one of my favorite neighborhood go-to places. Today, I had enough time before my commute to stop for a grab & go breakfast burrito/latte. They were so quick with my order that I ended up being earlier to work than expected, even though there was line in front of me. Not only to do I love this place for a quick weekday/weekend grab & go, but it's so good I take my guests & visitors here before a day at the museum or a hike. Their coffee & matcha are always delicious. Their eggs are so fluffy! As a vegetarian, I love the Sharon breakfast sando & the veggie breakfast burrito. The almond poppy seed muffin is another go-to! I'd give this place another star if I could. <3“
“A large group decided to go for breakfast here during the week at 10:00 when we got there it was busy. We had to wait for seats. Aunt then gave us some time. There was coffee at the door that you could get while you were waiting you could order breakfast or lunch but the majority of us got the biscuits. They were delicious. You have to try them and we had a little toddler with us. They were patient with him. We heard about this restaurant before we even got to Denver so it has a reputation far away. Definitely give it a try“
“So underrated. The food is higher quality and cheaper than Paris Baguette or Tous Les Jours. Not to mention the workers there are so kind.I asked about a year ago if they had red bean donuts and they told me they didn’t have it. I recently went and they had 4 different kinds - and they were the best I’ve had in the US! So excited to keep supporting this local business doing great things.“
“Chelsea was great to work with! She was very responsive & quick with her communication. We ordered 40 sugar cookies for my baby shower. They were rattles, bottles, onesies, & rainbows. They turned out so cute!!! These were hands down THE BEST sugar cookies I have ever tasted in my life. So full of flavor & a great texture. I will definitely be ordering from Chelsea again soon.“
“It’s all so very tasty! The multigrain pullman loaf maybe my singular flavorful thing they bake — it’s super flavorful, it’s well baked, it’s large. The savory & sweet pastries are not to be slept on either tho — the chocolate croissant are amazing, the danishes are fun, and morning buns are a delight.“
“This place is great if you have food allergies or intolerances, or choose to eat a certain diet (like vegan). My son must eat gluten-free and he gets discouraged by the lack of options at other bakeries. He thought it was pretty great that he could choose anything at this bakery! The reason I gave it four stars is because it is pretty pricey. Some of the items seem to have reasonable prices and others seem ridiculously overpriced. In addition, not all the prices are advertised so I had a hard time deciding what to get. In my opinion, the savory foods are limited in selection, overpriced, and underwhelming so don't plan to eat lunch there.I do recommend the sweet treats like the donuts, cupcakes, and mini-cakes as they seem to be reasonably priced and delicious!Vegetarian options: Sweet treats everywhere tend to be vegetarian and here is no exception. Some of the sweet treats are even vegan. There are vegetarian and vegan options in the savory foods.Dietary restrictions: They have food options for many types of dietary restrictions.Parking: Easy parking, many spaces, very close.Kid-friendliness: They have a coloring contest for kids. They sell foods kids like to eat.“
“Great gourmet cookies. Recently had the PB&J, and even the chocoholics in my house agreed it was the best. I also like that it's a local business. Kinda dangerous, or divine intervention, now that they deliver through the delivery apps. PS this is a take out or delivery situation, not a sit down bakery.“
“I went for lunch and dessert today for the first time. It was busy, and hard to figure out where the line was going. My sausage calzone was very good, although my leftovers were better once I popped them in my toaster oven and got it hotter and the bread crisp than it was when it was served. The desserts were fantastic! I tried the mini pistachio cannoli, pistachio cookies, almond and pine nut amaretti cookies too--all fabulous! The desserts are widely varied...I wanted everything!! But it is expensive: my 6 cookies and 2 mini cannolis were just under $20. Ouch. But I know these kinds of things are a lot of work to bake, so I guess that's why. I hope to get there again sometime, though it's far from my area.“
“To the Rebel bakers: I am your number one fan.I recently moved to Denver and was introduced to Rebel Bread at the Sunday Pearl Street Farmers Market. So happy to find out they also have a retail counter open Thursday-Saturday so I don't have to wait a week!I'm working my way through their fanstic menu, but so far the cinnamon roll has my heart. It's not a doughy cinnamon roll....more of a distant cousin of a croissant. Layers of buttery-flakey cinnamon sugared pastry dough. Nom!You can't make a bad choice. You could close your eyes, point at a pastry in the case, and be happy with whatever you go home with. All the retail staff are fantastic, but I've gotten the pleasure of getting to know Nikki and Annabelle and they are so delightful.“
“I recently got introduced to Trompeau and was angry I just now found out about the most delicious pastries in the world! Also the staff is extremely friendly and hard working. I noticed one specific gentleman who was going out of his way to help out with not only servicing the customers but basically keeping the bakery running. He’s got tattoos and glasses! Shout out to that guy!“
