“One of my favorite Vietnamese bakeries in the area. It truly is a hole in the wall type of place. It is very small with an equally small, slightly sketchy looking parking lot. The interior is a no frills or deco type of bakery and is all grab and go. They aren't as busy or offer as much items as their competitors, but I wouldn't write them off because of it. I'm happy to say that their deals on the sandwiches (buy 5 get 1 free) and the pate chaud or banh bao (buy 10 get 1 free) are still going strong. We ordered 2 sandwiches, 10 pate chaud and 1 banh bao for my son. Everything we had tasted delicious and the prices were decent in comparison to their competitors. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. I did feel like my grilled pork sandwich could've used my meat in it, but that's my only complaint. I do prefer their pate chaud over most of the other bakeries in the area though. The flavor is just so much better.“

“Great spot with good food. Was able to sit and relax for a good while without feeling rushed. Staff is super friendly. Sandwiches are great but oh my god so expensive!! $19 for a reuben sandwich and a tiny bag of lays. Gotta pay extra for the Boulder chips! $50 for 2 sandwiches and 2 cans of coke. It would be easier to swallow if the Boulder chips came with the sandwich and the sandwiches were huge or something unique. We enjoyed ourselves but the prices are outrageous. I’ve lived in Denver for a long time and understand it’s expensive here but this is just price gouging.“

“Gates Deli & Grog is an under the radar sandwich shop on Pearl St. inside of Platt Park Brewing. In addition to their signature sandwiches, they have a few wraps, salads, nachos, wings and tacos on the menu. This place could easily be named No Frills Sandwiches or Very Good Sandwiches and no one would bat an eye. I was in the area for work multiple times last week, and I'm so glad I checked Yelp to hook me up with tasty grub. I love me some sandwiches and ended up coming here twice in just a few day span. If that's not telling, I don't know what is! CORN BEEF MELT ($14) // Corned beef, white cheddar, pickles, coleslaw, thousand island dressing, on marble rye. Very flavorful. Generous with the dressing, and possibly too liberal for my liking. I needed 5 or 6 napkins while eating it, haha. Balanced sandwich, good zip and tang to counter the salty meat. FARM FRESH CHICKEN CLUB ($15) // Grilled chicken breast on a fresh baked bun stacked w/ bacon, arugula, pickled red onions, fresh guacamole, cheddar cheese, ranch & everything bagel seasoning. WOAH. The only thing missing was the kitchen sink. Although a ton of ingredients, they all worked well together, and you could easily taste each one individually. My only knock was the chicken, that was a bit on the dry side. Other than that, a vibrant sandwich with a delicious freshly baked bun. There's a lot going right here. Online ordering is a synch. They have a walk up window, but if you're inside the brewery you can order at the bar. Perfect for grab and go, or pounding a few beers with a big group. Look forward to trying more of their unique and carefully crafted sandwiches!“

Snarf's Sandwiches Sandwich Shop • $
6245 E 14th Ave, Denver

“After reading a decent amount of the reviews, I'm not exactly sure what people expect from a sandwich shop, but I always have an excellent experience at this location. To the guy who complained that he didn't want his sandwich toasted, you are literally in a toasted sandwich shop and you're complaining about that exact thing. They even made your sandwich over again but you still gave them a low rating? I will never understand that. To the people who complained the first week that the place opened, that is very sad. Most places struggle in the beginning, so it's better to take your complaints directly to the manager instead of complaining on the Internet. At the end of the day, it would take a lot for me to give these guys a bad rating. My sandwich is always made correctly (I usually order online), the service is quick and the people are friendly. I think giving five stars to a place that does exactly what they are supposed to do, make sense to me. Thank you Snarfs Mayfair for always treating me well!“

“First of let me say Chebba hut is a strong favorite for hot sandwich shops but Potbelly put up a great fight and earned solid number 2 in my book. The food is affordable compare to some shops like firehouse or Quiznos. The ingredients were also quality. I got the steakhouse beef. The blue cheese crumble was nice and chunky. Great tasting for sure. I added hot peppers pickles onions and seasoning and it taste very similar to a Chicago juicy beef hoagie. While I didn’t need the soup because the regular size sandwich was plenty of food I got it just to try. Thats the only thing that’s got them 14/15 stars with me. The soup was nothing special but acceptable in taste. It was however cold and could use some seasoning up a bit (which is likely not in control at the store level so i understand). They did just open so I get that the soup hasn’t got warmed yet but I think I was expecting fresh made soups but I don’t think I read that anywhere just assumed. And also attention to detail in every order is a must for any time I have worked food service so if the cup wasn’t hot to me it wasn’t hot to you when you handed it over so you should have said give me 5mins and let me make sure it’s hot enough. Other than that, the staff was friendly and prompt while still doing morning opening procedures and such. This place is worth trying if you like sandwiches and they even have a Pb and J which most don’t so I might be back to try that soon. Side note: they also have shakes that appear to be handmade (see pic for in store menu).ThanksVegetarian options: Salads and sandwiches and maybe one soup if I recallParking: Plenty on both sizes but beware of fast food drive thru traffic in same lot.Kid-friendliness: Kid sizesWheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp and first level patio“
