“Where do I start? There is a reason this place is so busy and famous. Wow. The salty o made my top five ice creams ever. They have a unique but accessible menu. The salty o is a twist on cookies and cream but with a salty base and wow. It is so so so good. The banana pudding is also really delicious. The serving sizes are huge. I got a kids cup and was full! Go here. Wait in line. Worth it.“
“Literally the best ice cream I have EVER had!!! Worth every penny, nice variety. I door dashed so cannot speak of the atmosphere or service but I’ve been telling everyone about this place. I plan to go back this week because I decided to take my daughter. Will take pics and update! Must go! I cannot believe I am just hearing about them and it was because they were listed in the Denver black restaurant week listing. So this place will be frequently visited this summer“
“A friend told me to check this place out and that it was dog friendly. It is named after a cute French Bulldog, but she wasn’t there when I visited. The ice cream shops shares a space with Devil’s Cup Coffee. It was pretty quiet when I was there, but my mint chocolate chip flavor was very good. Easy street parking.“
“I love the da loop pizza but I add pepperoni. I never used to like pizza until I found this place. They are locally owned and operated and make you feel welcomed. I loved the ice cream too. Upstairs there is an ice cream bar with all these kinds. I got the chocolate chip mint with andes candies inside. Its my new favorite. The time I went in before I got an oreo milkshake and it slaps.Vegetarian options: My friend ordered the gold coast and they loved it.Dietary restrictions: My friend also got the cauliflower crust and it was good. I tried a slice.Parking: Pro tip: we park in the garage in the back since it's free for a few hours. It's super convenient.Kid-friendliness: Upstairs they have games including uno and foosball. It's in the ice cream shop.“
“My son arlo says " its the best place in the world, the slide i a 10! Cherry Malt milkshake is best ive ever had". . He's a foodie- so i trust him!Kid-friendliness: Ohhhhh yeah, super fun. Best location ofthe two by farWheelchair accessibility: Right off a busy street- parking on tge lot to the easy side of the builfing“
“Been coming here for about a year now and I absolutely love this place. I recommend them a lot so if you came because of a dude from GameStop it’s almost assuredly me lol. The c137 is great but I swear that the Thai iced tea Ice cream is so good I would legitimately fight a fat kid for it“
“Lovely service and lovely coffee! Picked up two coffees for a much needed boost at a nearby hospital. The barista was amazing and whipped up a delicious mocha and latte. Their coffee has amazing flavor. We also got a lovely cinnamon roll which was a nice texture and the frosting and cinnamon were nicely balanced. I will be back if I am in the area. Also love their motto :)“
“Our favorite local dessert spot! The sweetest owners and most delicious pies! You can get to go slices, so try multiple flavors and choose your favorite. Also it’s right next door to Ephemeral taproom, do yourself a favor and grab pie with your beer or order a whole pie for the holidays like we do! Personal faves are the cherry crumb pie and the chocolate mousse pie, but they’re all incredible, run don’t walk.Kid-friendliness: Perfect spot for kids, there’s even a giant checkerboard to play with“
“Honest Review! Passing by this place on University, I always noticed the long line snaking out the door. Finally stopped by on a chilly Colorado day and was pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed a delicious treat in the cozy warmth of my car with my girlfriend. Returned for a second visit and the experience was consistently great. The variety of options was impressive; I opted for the chocolate-dipped waffle cone paired with cookie dough ice cream - divine! The Denver vibe adds to the charm, making it a must-visit spot. Highly recommend“
“I love Nuggs and this review is way over due! It has been my go to spot for my ice cream craving! Everytime im at nuggs I have the most wonderful experiences, I am 27 weeks pregnant and craving ice cream! But what made me want to write a review is the diligence of the employees! The young lady I spoke to, Antonya was very helpful when I asked about the cookie dough because I cannot have raw eggs. She then rushed to the back and came out with the dough that it’s made with and starts intensely researching if it was pregnancy safe. I felt that she really cared for me and my baby and it is greatly appreciated! Thank you Antonya for being so diligent and kind. 10/10 will be coming back !“
“Seriously the best burger I've ever had in Denver, amazing service and everyone is just SO nice. You could make the argument it's a little expensive, but every single ingredient is cooked and seasoned so perfectly that I can't complain. Amazing churros as well!Parking: Shared strip mall parking lots, lots of spaces“
“What a great little establishment! Large variety of pasties- savory, vegetarian, special, dessert and breakfast options. They are nice and warm to eat right away- two tables in the store to sit and eat at. He also has all the pasties frozen in the back to take home and bake as well. If you want to score a deal, you can sometimes get "yesterday's pasties" at a BoGo deal/$5 each. Owner is super friendly and welcoming. There is ice cream too! Really enjoyed my visit here- thank you!“
“Most delicious and health conscious ice cream joint in town. The staff was very accommodating to all my annoying dietary questions. Don't waste your time, money and good health on Dairy Queen or Coldstone. Heaven Creamery is amazing. New favorite!Dietary restrictions: Their vegan options are great. Seed oil free and very few ingredients. No gums or artifical flavors/colorings.“
“This place is so amazing! The staff here are extremely kind and attentive. They also have great pizza and beer (seriously legit pizza and beer), quite impressed with how good everything was and the prices of their food. We were also treated to the s'mores bar they offered for free. To top if all off, they have a wonderful mission. And I can't wait to come back and continue to support them. Support this women owned business and their mission to be inclusive of everyone and employ people with varying disabilities. Love this place!“
“I really enjoy Sweet Cooie's, but they often only have one employee working and the line can get out of control when someone orders a milkshake or two. The ice cream itself is good, but the flavors can be "interesting." I'd recommend trying one or two before buying -- even if there is a line.“
“Stopped by this week to try out the Tanghulu but unfortunately it was not being sold yet until Saturday and that the video we've all been seeing was poster early per the cashier. At first I was a little bummed because the tanhulu looks super good but it's okay! Instead I ordered the strawberry sago , spicy wings and a lemon tea. Everything was super good! I loved the seasoning and crunch of the wings will def be getting them again. The strawberry sago was a good snack and refreshing you can say. Will def be coming back hopefully soon to try the tanghulu though! :)“
“WOW! Absolutely phenomenal. Servers were extremely friendly and provided more than generous scoops. Simply can't believe how delicious the homemade oatmeal cookie ice cream was-- can't recommend it enough. The shop was also very cute and well-maintained!“
“I love the name of this place! Devil's Cup Coffee is a great new find for me. It's a cozy space with ample seating and a great vibe. The baristas were friendly and quick. They offer Outrageous bread! Thank you for having gluten-free options. My only complaint is that the prices are steep. I'd definitely visit here again if I happen to be in the area.“
“Hunter restored my faith in humanity. He stayed late in order it delicately scoopy my delicious creamy treat into my life. He made my night and this ice cream is no joke. it's seriously the most transcendental experience I have had in the last 20 years of my life. I only know joy because of this of moment in time. I have been healed of all trauma because of the icen cream therapy this site has provided.“
“It's the best creamery in Denver. No doubt. We love the poppy waffle, and one is big enough for two—yummy ice cream place to go with your friends and kids especially.Vegetarian options: They have a wonderful vegetarian collection of sorbets. My kid cannot consume milk, and he enjoys with us on a strawberry sorbet.“
“Awesome local quick bite to eat. Warm, tasty, filling. I got the Joey which was essentially a meatball marinara sort of pasty, looking forward to trying the Shepard next time. Staff was convivial even at the end of the day, gave me free coffee because it was near close and they were going to throw it away anyways. Very nice people, stop in for a quality quick bite, by far the best price, quality, experience combination on Tennyson for food.“
“Love this cute little spot on South Pearl St! Their ice cream is rich and flavorful, and the service is always so friendly. I love that Sweet Cow is relatively close to my house (any closer and it would be a dangerous habit). Highly recommend!“
“Absolutely in love with Eiskaffe!!! First time trying their ice cream and got above and beyond service from Poni was absolutely in awe of poni's amazing recommendation of queenies and Bavarian ice cream will always be returning to my favorite cafe with this amazing barista!!!!“
“My wife was so happy to find out that Denver had Andy’s! She is from MO and she thought Colorado was missing out. If you like quality ice cream- this is your place. My favorite is vanilla ice cream with raspberries. There is also many other options and flavors. One of the really nice places to go for ice cream, especially when it is hot.The only downside of this place - that they don’t have inside space to sit. But when it is warm - it is perfect!“
“Update 3/31/24. Place is disgusting and staff is a mess with no idea what they are doing. Ice cream is still good but they did make my order correctly and no one there knew anything. Dang sad!Dang! That's good. This is my favorite new ice cream place in denver. I love the fact that they have soft serve and fun toppings. The place is lively and busy, clean and awesome service. It was great to watch the staff of young people communicating so well and working together like a well-oiled machine that's been working together for a long time“
“We love this place. Our son is dairy intolerant so there aren’t many places he can get a treat. We popped in today so he could get a milkshake after lunch. The server was so nice! We had lovely chit chat with her. She even gave me another taste of the Heaven I’ve cream when mine slipped off the spoon into the floor. I would highly recommend the avacado, if you can believe that??!!! It was delightful! If I hadn’t been so full from lunch I def would have jumped on that! The ship is always so clean and bright and just so pleasant to visit.“
“I will never say no to a gelato/ice cream spot, especially during a hot weekend in Denver! I am a sorbet type person, so I loved they had a dairy free fruity option which was strawberry. I thought the flavor was very good and not as creamy as a typical ice cream, which I thought was exactly what I was looking for. If you're shopping around the 16th Street Mall area and looking for a sweet treat to cool down, I would recommend Gelato Boy.“
“We love the location of this ice cream place because it's walking distance from our home. It's easy to find and right on the main stretch of businesses along Platte street. There is typically only ever one person working (when we've gone at least), but they are always friendly and efficient. There's nothing fancy inside, but there is a few tables for seating available. I really love the art work (in the image you can see my favorite piece which is a bunch of old, different ice cream scoops)! The ice cream is delicious and we love making this a monthly stop for date night!“
“I can't recommend this enough, the Coconut Creme Brulee flavor they have here is a must. Ice cream is my favorite desert but this flavor has brought it to a whole new level. Its location inside the Denver Central Market makes it a nice add-on to a full meal at one of the other restraints here.“
“Looking for cold drinks after yard work and wondered into this hidden gem. Lots of ice cream, popsicles, aqua fresca, fresh cut fruit cups. A few coffee options as well as breakfast items. Lots to explore. Super friendly staff. Just look for the pink exterior you can’t miss it.“
“I came here on a Monday night with a friend and it was such a treat! I got the tin cup whisky with pistachio brittle ice cream on the employees reccomendation. It was delicious. Great depth of flavor, diverse textures, and delicious. The ambiance was lovely with these cool stone tables and fun decor. They also had a Colorado pride flag which was super cute and I have never seen before.“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! Normally there's no line, but summers can be busy.. Brace yourself for the best ice cream in all of Denver! They have the basics, but they also have so much more. Their cones are usually handmade too, so those are great.“
“I have a terrible case of celiac and the workers did wonderful making sure I could eat. I usually don't bother ever eating out but it was my birthday. I appreciate the extra effort in their service. The employee with short black hair and gauges was exceptional, and even answered all of our questions.“
“Best ice cream in Colorado! They have about a dozen standing ice cream flavors and a few on rotation. Couldn’t recommend the stranahan’s whiskey brittle ice cream enough. Also, they can match unique flavors, such as laffy taffy, that will convince you the taste your enjoying isn’t even ice cream. Also this is the best date spot of any sweet action, especially during extreme weather, as the tables are far from the door in the back of the shop.“
“Ordered the hot chocolate, no whipped cream and it is delicious! Not the sweet powdered stuff we all know so well, but a much richer less sweet variant. It hits the spot on a cold day. The staff responded quickly and prepared it right in front of me. They were very kind and courteous. The moment you step inside, you are hit with that warm, earthy chocolate aroma that stimulates your senses. Very much worth the visit.“
“Some of the best gelato in the area. Great location to stop for dessert if you're having dinner in the area. It's surrounded by several restaurants, and probably a much better choice than the dessert menu items the restaurants have. Soo delicious.“
“I was so in love with this place and serenity who's an employee that made it even better she made me get not one but two different jars of ice cream and even a shirt. me and my family enjoyed ourselves there and the atmosphere is very nice I'll definitely be coming back“
“Good and solid ice cream! The flavors are a variation of their classics and interesting mixes. Their pints are always easy to take home. Their tin cup whiskey ice cream is so delicious. They have various locations and it is always super relaxed and vibey and casual. The staff is super friendly too!“
“We went on Saturday at about 9:30PM. There was a small wait, about 5 minutes. The building is a little small & cramped, but has 3 round tables that can fit about 2-3 people each. The ice cream is fantastic, and they let you try samples before ordering. If you want more than one scoop with a topping or two, you will be paying over $10.The service was good, and the two staff working were friendly and asked us if we were visiting from Nebraska. Overall experience was great.“
“Everything we got was so yummy! The staff was really friendly and kind when I asked questions. They have a big menu that is easy to read. It is very clean. I didn't have cash on me and was happy that you can apply a tip with a card because the service was perfect. Definitely recommend.“
“Indulging in the ice cream at this shop was a taste bud celebration! The flavors were so fresh, and it's a place where you can truly savor every moment. The welcoming service and cozy atmosphere make it perfect for enjoying with friends. Definitely a gem worth recommending!“
“Bomb snacks and drinks and it local! Also customer service was great. I love that it's in a convenient location and that I don't have to drive to the other side of town for the same snacks. The restaurant is also very clean and appealing.“
“Woo-Hoo! So glad Smoothie King is back after so long and this location is so convenient! I immediately signed back up for their Loyalty Program and downloaded their App.Lots of specials show up and you get $2 off your first order. They have much more variety than before and I want to try each one! They also have a lot of Add Ons.I ordered the Peanut Butter Special with Chocolate and an Add-On Joint Health with Collagen. Leslie prepared it and it was so delicious! This location is very clean, organized with plenty of parking. Definitely will be coming back! Make sure to get a receipt and fill out the survey to get $1 off at your next visit.“
“Service is outstanding. This is a little hole in the wall spot and a wonderful surprise . Open until 10pm on weekends and worth the drive if you want a well priced and served ice cream. This great place offers ice cream and some delicious snack late night food. It has Nothing against other Mexican or Hispanic ice cream shops around here that over charge and serve you a minimum servicing. This place is well priced and the service is really good. Everyone greets you when you come in and treats you like family. As they should. Great place to stop for a treat! Music is always jamming and people here are happy to serve you“
“It would be crazy to come here and not try the baked Alaska right ? I thought so too! Now the only question I have is how the heck did I make it 35 years without realizing how absolutely delicious meringue is? Especially when it's lightly toasted omg. Should you try this. Absolutely yes it was so good. That being said now that I've had it once I'll probably go for a scoop on a cone next time because I do prefer the experience of a traditional scoop better. But I don't want to take away from this bar because it was amazing. My husband got the peanut butter cup and I would honestly get that every day and twice on Sunday. If I had to choose a fave that's what it would be. We also did get a kids scoop of the birthday cake for the baby and he loved it. Sprinkles and actually cake in there. Also really good but I'm a sucker for peanut butter. I think what I'm trying to get at is whatever you get here it's not going to be bad. Not even close so don't over think it and enjoy some phenomenal ice cream.“
“Looks like a local ice cream shop that sells other snacks and goodies. I got the birthday cake and enjoyed how colorful it is. A small scoop is 4.50. The paletas are $3 each. I get the sense that this is a cash only kind of place, but I’m not 100% sure.“
“Delicious and satisfying. I had a combination of their banana pudding and their orange gelato. They were both fantastic and creamy. Not too sweet, just right. Great little neighborhood shop, if you're visiting the tile and granite stores or Floor and Decor nearby, a great break for you.“
“We were hungry for some ice cream, so we found this little shop after reading several reviews. We also looked at their online menu to see what flavors they were offering and thought the variety looked interesting. We were able to park along the street nearby. I imagine if it was earlier in the day, parking might be challenging to find. The place was smaller than I expected. There wasn’t any seating except for a bench along the main window. They offered 20 varieties of ice cream, sherbet and sorbet. We were offered some samples, so we each tried two flavors. I ended up ordering the blood orange sorbet, my wife chose the mimosa sherbet, and my son picked the Cadbury Egg.When I paid, I noticed that the prompts did not ask me for a tip. Later I noticed on the menu, they are tip free because they’ve increased their employees’ wages. So glad to see that! After we had our ice cream, we sat down on the bench, had a brief conversation and enjoyed our treat. If you’re in the neighborhood, or even if you need to drive a ways, stop by Sweet Action and enjoy a treat!“
“I grew up just a block away from this place, and even though it has changed a lot, it was and continues to be an amazing place. The servers are so nice and helpful, and everything there is delicious. I have so many wonderful memories at this place and totally recommend it if you're in the area.“
“One of the most amazing and unique experiences. An experiential adventure in dessert. From liquid nitrogen popcorn, whipped cream and jolly ranchers to donut bread pudding with chokeberry sauce to peach marshmallow to glow in the dark cotton candy to amazing ice cream treats with exploding whipped cream. It was a magical treat to end our day. Also loved their freeze dried nerds and candy wallpaper with each fruit picture tasting like the fruit inspiration.Kid-friendliness: Chef Ian was just the best part of the experience. So welcoming and kind to everyone especially the kids. Made it a point to make sure that everyone felt included and engaged.“
