“My first apartment as a young woman was off Cheesman Park and I use to go to Lik’s Ice cream often. I recently visited. I think it might have had a different name back then. It appears they are still using the same refrigerated cases from the 80’s. I do not think they have painted it or have ever had an update on the inside. The cleanliness is hard to know. I was surprised by the limited number of ice cream flavors they had. I recall years ago there were more options. But they had the standards and a few different ones. The ice cream is still good. I bet they have 12 different flavors. It was busy. 90 degree weather helps business. Parking is on street and it’s not that easy to get. Some of the staff have piercings, odd colors in their hair and appear to be rockers. They are friendly. If you’re in the area an ice cream cone might be the answer for a hot day in Denver. I liked the chocolate bourbon flavor.“

Tip: you can bring beers from next door over to Right Cream's seating area; it's all the same property and Right Cream is cool with it.“

“Oh my God stopped by to get some water because the little ones were thirsty and ended up finding our new go-to place when we come to the Colorado Mills Mall!! The paletas are to die for their homemade everyday and then the corn in the cup and the corn on the cob with all the trimmings are so delicious we were planning on going to Red lobster but we had dinner here instead!!

“Whenever I’m craving something sweet, ice cream is my go-to. I’ve visited Gelato Boy twice recently because their dairy-free, vegan, and gluten-free selection is top-tier.

- They also have last batch pints in the back freezer to take home!

🍨 The Gelato:
The Island Coconut is a must-try! It tastes like real coconut not fake and has actual shredded bits. I loved it in an Affogato last week and in a Sugar Cone today. If coconut isn’t your thing, the Lemon Poppy dairy-free is another favorite of mine.

🙂 Customer Service:
The staff is always kind and full of great recommendations. They even pointed out the back freezer, where I spotted a Dairy-Free Irish Cream I’m eyeing for next time.

You can find free street parking if you're lucky, or use the garage across from Cava (just double-check if it's free!).

“We were craving a tasty snack and finding this place made our day! They have an incredible variety of options, from popsicles and ice cream to fruit cups loaded with chamoy and Tajín. We were honestly blown away by all the choices and are already excited to go back.

The Food:
We ended up getting five different things, including an elote en vaso (corn in a cup) and some ice cream. I can't remember the exact flavor of ice cream I chose, but it was delicious and hit the spot on such a hot day. Their selection is huge! They have unique flavors like guava, guanábana, arroz con leche, and so much more. I definitely want to try one of their popsicles or another ice cream flavor on my next visit.

Atmosphere & Customer Service:
The atmosphere here is great, but what really made the experience stand out was the customer service. The woman working there was incredibly helpful, sweet, and patient with us while we looked at all the options. It’s a welcoming, clean spot that just puts you in a good mood.

Overall:
We spent around $27 to $30 total for all five items. Compared to other snack and ice cream shops, I felt like we got a really good amount of food for what we paid. The portions are generous and the quality is definitely there.
