“My wife and I took a cooking class with Brett and Melissa at Cains Creative Cakes last week and had a fantastic experience! Brett led the class and took us through a tasty recipe he came up with for a unique take on chicken piccata. We had a great time chatting with him and Melissa the whole time we cooked and before we knew it our meal was ready. The food was delicious and there was A LOT of it. My wife and I both couldn't believe how much we ate but it was just so good! Somehow we managed to save a little room for dessert- which Melissa treated us to after our meal. It was a lemon vanilla cake and although lemon flavored desserts aren't usually my favorite this one was something special! It was one of the softest cakes I've ever eaten and the frosting was delicious. If I ever need a cake made I know where I'm going! When we said our thank yous and goodbyes Melissa made sure to send us home with a few more pieces of cake wrapped up so we didn't leave empty handed. Overall, we had so much fun and are so glad we found Brett and Melissa. We wanted to do something more interesting than the usual date night out at a restaurant and they gave us a truly unique and very fun experience! 10/10 would recommend!“

“On a Sunday morning, the place did get a little busy but a very pleasant crowd. Service was great. My omelette was cooked perfectly, unfortunately not well done enough for me and that's on me. I could've specified that I like my eggs as dry as cardboard. Seating is very open and tight. Not a place for private conversations but otherwise good atmosphere.“

The owner was so nice and went out of his way to help me for a coworkers birthday even after I showed up at his bakery thinking it was a store front which I was wrong about and would have known if I visited the website. John, the owner, stepped up to save the day after another bakery canceled last minute on a birthday cake I had ordered. With less than 24 hour notice, during a peek rush and on a weekend at that, I could not have been more pleased with what he put together for me. After explaining my situation and that it was for my partners 35th birthday party that was a little gay, little disco, little cowboy, I didn't expect anything more than an icing piped "Happy Birthday". Picture attached because he knocked it out of the park and words don't do it justice. Not only did the cake live up to the party theme (and then some) it was DELICIOUS and when he quoted me the price I couldn't believe how affordable it was. “My family and I stopped in on our way back from Denver to Colorado Springs on Sunday. Heaven is a wonder. There were 5 of us and she was patient and gave samples to help make up our minds. The icecream was delicious. Then 6 other Groups came in (15 people) within seconds of eachother. One by one she took care of them quickly and with a smile on her face. Very impressive young lady.“
