The staff is always so kind and friendly. Unfortunately though, lately we have been disappointed. We have ordered the Steak and Frites and more times than not, we have received a steak that has a lot of fat on it. Today, my husbands steak was half fat. I couldn’t believe it was even served to us.. we love this place so much and it’s been really disappointing.“

You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. The pasta is hand made and has a perfect texture and amazing flavor with the sauce. The house made buratta is the freshest, creamiest and thickest you’ll enjoy outside of select NYC restaurants that are famous for making their own mozzarella, ricotta or buratta. And the staff treat their guests like they’ve invited you into their own home. Jessica was amazing! All together, going to Luca’s is like getting the perfect big warm hug.“

“Ollie and Park's is a wonderful addition to the 17th Street neighborhood. The food is consistently well prepared and the staff at the highest level of customer service. So happy they are here!!“

“BoomBots Pasta is dangerous because you go in thinking, “I’ll just grab a quick bowl of pasta,” and then suddenly you’re sitting there wondering if ordering a second one would be socially acceptable. (Spoiler alert, I did and took it home)

Second, the place has personality. Not the sterile “fast casual” kind where everything looks like it was designed by a committee of beige paint swatches. BoomBots feels alive. Like if a really cool robot and a passionate pasta chef teamed up and said, “Let’s feed Denver properly.” The Dirty Martini Bucatini was incredible. Salty, briny, garlicky, and perfectly cooked. It sounds a little chaotic on paper but it absolutely works. And the Big Ass Mozz Stick is exactly what the name promises. Giant mozzarella sticks that pull apart with that dramatic cheese stretch everyone hopes for but rarely gets. It’s basically mozzarella engineering. The sauce is delicious too. Everything was great, the vibe is fun, and I’m already planning my return purely for pasta and questionable levels of melted cheese.

“The food is amazing! Our waitress was awesome as well. The only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the manager making it seem like we’re being rushed. I made a reservation a week earlier and when we showed up there was barley anyone there, the manager or owner or who ever she is said we had 1 hour and a half at max to finish our meal. This establishment is definitely not a turn and burn. If I’m spending over 25 dollars a plate I’m going to enjoy it with the feel or want to be rushed. That being said the food and our waitress definitely did not disappoint!“

“I’ve worked in the service industry my entire life and I get goosebumps thinking about the food at Sap Sua. It’s the place I come to when I want to specifically remember a meal with my partner, friends or family because I can taste the love in the food and feel the love at the table.

The service is always joyous and convenient and I’m always excited to dry a different cocktail whenever I come. I have heard rumors that the management and chefs treat the staff well, but the sincere attitude of the entire establishment would be proof of that enough. Any neighborhood in the world would and should be proud to have a place like Sap Sua nearby (even though they are dodger and laker fans).“

“Equal parts hip and cozy with welcoming lighting, old movies playing on the TV in the corner of the bar and always tasteful music playing which makes this a great place to meet up with friends for great cocktails and conversation. There's an outdoor patio that is lovely on warm days tucked away just enough that the traffic doesn't bother, but still feels urban. Happy hour has incredible prices on food and inventive, local cocktails. Every one of the mussel recipes is great and I love their shoestring fries plain, or dressed up in the many options they offer. The eggplant puree is a great accompaniment to any visit. I can't say enough how thoughtfully this place was put together. I also have to mention that as someone who enjoys meeting up with friends, but also likes to go to places to read alone, Dew Drop is perfect for either of these. Very grateful to have this place in the neighborhood!“

The atmosphere is so inviting and warm, the music isn’t super loud, there’s plenty of room and their drinks are incredible! We tried the 11:11 and the bartenders choice. This place is quite hidden, but it adds to the charm! Best to park in a parking lot and walk!“

By far my favorite wine from the flights we tried was the Viognier, which isn’t usually a go-to for me. And the baked cambozola was amazing! They were also clearly observing good current phase of pandemic practices, with staff all masked and tables well spaced out. A sign out front demanded patrons put on masks before entering. Made me comfortable, even though it was one of my first experiences returning to indoor dining.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. Great for a date night or a family dinner, so long you have well behaved kids who love good food.“

“My book club went in during valentines wknd and I’m sure our server was disappointed we decided to order ala carte rather than their $$ tasting menu but she was very gracious and gave us great service nonetheless. We ordered a wide variety of things and while I didn’t try everything - the katsu was a hit, the mushrooms and calamari were also good…the hummus plate on the other hand was a slap in the face. It was maybe a tablespoon of hummus with a few scraps of bread. On the topic of cheap toast - the GF focaccia was literally just toast. Not sure why you would force focaccia to be GF and then do such a bad job of it. For a higher end restaurant, they either need to remove that item or do it justice. Drinks were great & they seemed to have a good wine selection.“
