“My husband and I are very loyal customers to Hungry Goat! We visit at least once a month, sometimes more. Food is great! The drinks are even better! (Especially the espresso martini!) The staff is always so kind and friendly. Unfortunately though, lately we have been disappointed. We have ordered the Steak and Frites and more times than not, we have received a steak that has a lot of fat on it. Today, my husbands steak was half fat. I couldn’t believe it was even served to us.. we love this place so much and it’s been really disappointing.“

“Major Tom is one of my favorite spots in Denver. The staff is incredible, and the cocktails are inventive, thoughtful, and seriously delicious. They even have a mezcal cocktail that I’m obsessed with—and I absolutely hate mezcal. That’s the magic of Major Tom: somehow they can change your mind.

And DO NOT skip the chickpea fritters. I don’t know what kind of black magic is happening in that kitchen, but they are sooo good.

I also love their occasional pop-ups. It’s always fun to see talented chefs collaborate and bring something new to the space. Great drinks, great food, great people, and always a reason to come back.“

“My wife and I went to Corsica for our anniversary dinner. After having a bad experience elsewhere in Denver we were looking for a little redemption night. I called and spoke with a manager named Lindsey who was empathetic to our other experience and assured me we would be taken care of. They more than delivered on that promise. Corsica has extremely friendly and attentive staff without being over bearing. Everyone had wonderful, personal recommendations for food and drink and created a warm environment for our night. You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. The house made buratta is the freshest, creamiest and thickest you’ll enjoy outside of select NYC restaurants that are famous for making their own mozzarella, ricotta or buratta. “We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. Great for a date night or a family dinner, so long you have well behaved kids who love good food.“

“Staying in Denver for the weekend from out of town and stumbled upon Boombots for a late night Friday night dinner. The menu was small but mighty with adventurous and creative flare! We started with oysters, both East and West coast…what a treat and extra flavorful. Then my boyfriend and I shared the Stroganoff and the Agnolotti. Outstanding! Trendy slightly upscale feel to the interior, but welcoming. Must try!!“

“The food is amazing! Our waitress was awesome as well. The only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the manager making it seem like we’re being rushed. I made a reservation a week earlier and when we showed up there was barley anyone there, the manager or owner or who ever she is said we had 1 hour and a half at max to finish our meal. This establishment is definitely not a turn and burn. If I’m spending over 25 dollars a plate I’m going to enjoy it with the feel or want to be rushed. That being said the food and our waitress definitely did not disappoint!“

By far my favorite wine from the flights we tried was the Viognier, which isn’t usually a go-to for me. And the baked cambozola was amazing! They were also clearly observing good current phase of pandemic practices, with staff all masked and tables well spaced out. A sign out front demanded patrons put on masks before entering. Made me comfortable, even though it was one of my first experiences returning to indoor dining.“
