“We were in town for my Birthday, and booked a reservation based on a great recommendation. Everything about this dinner was nothing short of outstanding!! The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere made this night so perfect. Absolutely amazing!!!“

“I can’t believe it took me this long to find Mickey’s Top Sirloin—what have I been doing with my life?! This place is the perfect mix of dining out and enjoying a comforting, home-cooked meal made by your mom (if your mom also happens to be a steak-cooking legend).

The atmosphere is so fun and inviting—it feels like walking into a neighborhood spot where everyone’s family. And the steaks? Absolutely stellar. Cooked to perfection, juicy, and bursting with flavor, they’re easily some of the best I’ve had.

The service is fantastic, too! Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. “Went for a business meeting, family style servings. Was arguably some of the best food I've had in years. The bur Blanc on the salmon was exquisite, and the wine sauteed mushrooms were unspeakably delicious. Also, the serving staff was on point and the entire evening was thoroughly enjoyable.“

“Julio is The Man! Great Service, drinks are spot on, and the food is excellent.
I normally order room service when traveling but if you get a chance to go down and relax at the bar you really should take my advice. Don't forget to try the Camp Fire Burger, Chicken Marsala, Mahi Tacos, and always ask for the side to be onion rings... Nailed It!“

“I have visited the downtown Denver location twice, once in the late spring and once in the summer (2026). I sat at the bar both times and George and Clarissa were fantastic. The first time I went for a birthday/post-divorce solo celebration. I had crabcakes, which were delicious! Some of the best I have had. I also ordered the ribeye along with Brussels sprouts and a baked potato. The sprouts and very large potato were good and the steak (medium rare) was cooked perfectly, but it was overseasoned for my taste. They offered me another steak, but I declined. Instead they comped me a cocktail, which I only knew when I saw the bill. The cocktails, by the way, were all excellent! I started with a lemon drop and also had a drink (don't remember which one) with berries in it. That night another group came in that was also celebrating a birthday, as was a guy that was there by himself. We all chatted across the bar a bit. It was fun. The restaurant also offered me a complimentary birthday dessert. I chose creme brulee, which was quite good and topped with soooo many berries. The second time I went, I ordered the $60 special. This time, I chose the filet mignon, salad, Brussels sprouts, and for dessert, cheesescake. I also asked for them to skip the salt on the steak this time. The salad, although plain, was surprisingly good. Very crisp and fresh with a lemon basil creamy dressing. The steak came out a bit rarer than the perfect medium rare of my prior ribeye, but the seasoning was perfect for me this time. The sprouts and cheesecake were good. I love the berries they served with the cheesecake. Next time I go, I will likely splurge on the ribeye again.“

“Urban Farmer may have officially ruined steaks anywhere else for us. Every steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and the sides were no afterthought—the asparagus was grilled and seasoned so well we willingly fought over a vegetable. The complimentary cornbread also disappeared suspiciously fast.

But the real MVP was Dustin. He immediately picked up on our table’s humor and sarcasm, gave it right back, and made the entire evening ridiculously fun. Come for the steak, stay for the sides, and ask for Dustin if you appreciate excellent service with a personality.
