Awful and overpriced food from a racist chef that supports criminals.
I had the duck taco and it was delicious and I also had their Mexican chocolate ice cream. it was so good. my husband had a Cornish hen in a mole sauce and it was delicious. we definitely enjoyed The ambiance as well.
Xiquita says it’s as much about the people as the food… and I believe it! The menu, the service and overall ambience of the restaurant work in perfect synchronicity with one another.
The food does not disappoint. The Hoja Santa, a “sacred leaf” stuffed with queso fresco and a side of sautéd mushrooms, was a highlight but all the food was fantastic. On this night we also had Castacan (delicious slow roasted pork belly), Tamal Oaxaqueno and Taco Des Pescado.
