“Unlike many Thai restaurants around town, this one has specialties from Northern Thailand (Khao Soi) and some other unique offerings.

They accommodated my request for vegetarian Khao Soi, and the flavorful broth brought me right back to Chiang Mai. The mango sticky rice was perfection!

“I am very picky about Thai food, I was lucky enough to spend two months in Thailand enjoying all the amazing food.
The food here is delicious and fulfilled my Thai food craving.
It's more expensive than other Thai restaurants I like. And be sure to double check for dietary needs. I wasn't sure about a flourish on my dish that looked like dairy, although that curry is typically dairy free, so I'm glad I asked just to be sure!

“Some of the best Thai in core Denver. They have a great value lunch special, I come here a lot to get that. I like that when you ask for the curry to be spicy, it’s actually spicy, unlike some other Thai places. The owner (I assume) is very friendly. Highly recommended!“

I didn't realize until I got back that they forgot the sauce, unfortunately, and I was really looking forward to the roll as described, but it was still decent. The tom kha soup, meanwhile--awesome. Loaded with veggies that weren't cooked to death, and I could really taste the lemongrass and coconut milk. The opposite of bland. “Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the U.S. The chicken wings were perfectly rendered — crispy skin with zero sliminess and the sauce served on the side so they stayed crisp. The drunken noodles were outstanding: tons of garlic, real Thai basil, and clear wok hei with charred noodle edges. The chili heat builds slowly instead of blasting you right away. Loved the tomatoes, snow peas, and bean sprouts in the mix. Clearly a kitchen that knows how to run a wok.

“5 stars all the way. The fried chicken pad Thai with chili oil was seriously tasty and scrumptious—great flavor with just the right kick. The mango sticky rice was sweet, rich, and super satisfying.

My 25-year-old son summed it up best: “tasty and filling Thai fried chicken.” My cousin went with the panang curry and cleaned her plate, which says everything.

From the moment we walked in, the chef/owner was running the entire place by himself—answering phone calls, taking orders, and preparing the food. They can go ask the way to top level 100 lol. I’m usually a level 60 to 80 I think it depends on who’s cooking. I like it really really hot. I got their Thai hot level and it wasn’t spicy at all. “The owners of Wokano must have sold their souls to someone because I had an otherworldly experience eating this food. Best sesame tofu I’ve ever had. Tofu spring rolls pretty standard but they’re massive and come with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce.

They were happy to make the sesame tofu gluten free and they also have lots of vegan options.

Living close to this place is soon to bleed me dry but I can’t even act like I’m not ecstatic about it. I love you Wokano Asian Bistro.“

The Japanese Fried chicken had just the right amount of spice and heat on. The Katsu Curry was cooked perfectly and the Hawaiian Macaroni salad was fantastic. Everything was well prepared and organized. The food was HOT—which is what I look for. I loved how the pho was packaged. Everything was in a bowl with the veggies in a separate plastic part (separate from the meat) in the bowl. It was perfect for when I ate my food at the park.
