“Went with a large group (19) and did mostly family style dining. The food was excellent and generous and the service was on point. Because of the party size, gratuity was included and was very reasonable. I had a fabulous Thai tea cocktail with coconut rum and my brother had Prosecco (his favorite). I rarely finish cocktails but this one was just well prepared and delicious and right sized that I did. Yay me! Yay, Lamai Thai Kitchen. Four thumbs from the Kraus family!“

“I’ve never actually gotten pho from here, go figure. Their Chinese food is too good to try anything else. It’s probably the best I've had in Denver and I’ve been A LOT of Chinese restaurants in Colorado. My girl and I usually order wontons and coconut shrimp for apps but truly all the apps are great. Egg rolls are those small crispy ones you see on food channels, so good. For entrees we’ve tried orange chicken, sesame chicken, combo beef and chicken lo mein, buddah feast, and all the fried rices they offer and every single time it’s the best Chinese food we’ve had in Denver. Staff is great and they’re on it. Food comes out piping hot and you can tell it’s made with love. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

“My husband and I have been here twice now. Our first time we dined in and had Thai wings, khao soi, and pad kee mao. Everything was good, service was great, and the restaurant was clean! Our second time, we ordered for pick up and had the flu shot soup and taste of Thailand sampler. Our order was ready quickly and the service was great! However, I am writing this review because the flu shot soup was phenomenal. All of the dishes we had were good and hit the spot, but the flu shot soup was one of a kind! Perfect temperature, deep, flavorful broth (not too salty or spicy), great assortment of vegetables, and a hefty amount of chicken wontons. Taste of Thailand has guaranteed our return with the flu shot soup. 10/10 would recommend!“

“We just happened to be in the neighborhood and wanted something quick and tasty. This DID NOT disappoint. My husband got chicken Pad see ew and I got shrimp pad woon sen. There’s only 2 other Thai places we enjoy in the Denver metro area and this one is now 3rd on our list. I’d almost go as far as to rank it #1 due to the more affordable price and the large option of the spice tray. There was no up-charge for prik nam pla. Will be coming back to try other dishes. There are so many more options.“

“I am a huge fan of thai food and this place exceeded my expectations! Each dish is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We got the chicken pad thai and it was one of the best I have had, there was so much flavor
and the chicken was super juicy. We also got the massaman curry and chicken satay and both were delicious! We finished off with the mango sticky rice and the mango was ripe and the rice was perfectly cooked! Thai Town is a must try if you are here in Denver!“

“Excellent Pad Thai. Very well balanced spice without overpowering amounts of Tamarind. Fresh bean sprouts. Food made by a craftsman! If you want to muscle it up with chili spice the blend they prepared lit the fire. The mango sticky rice for dessert really is memorable.“

“After having such a great experience at Aloy Modern Thai, I knew I had to check out Aloy Thai Eatery—and once again, I was not disappointed!

I had the minced chicken salad with sticky rice, and it was absolutely amazing. The minced chicken had just the right amount of heat, with so much flavor, and it paired perfectly with the sticky rice. Everything came together incredibly well, and I’m already looking forward to my second visit!

The service made my first experience even better. Mae, if I remember her name correctly, was incredibly nice and always had a smile on her face. Her coworker, Yupa—again, I hope I remembered the name correctly—was also wonderful and helped me choose exactly the right spice level for my meal.

Both of them were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Between the amazing food and their hospitality, they made my first visit to Aloy Thai Eatery one I won’t forget.

Now, as a previous reviewer said, you don’t go here for the atmosphere, but I don’t believe they should be marked down for that. You go here for the food and service! It’s a local family business, so please give it a try. The sauce for the wontons was so light and delicious. The breading on the wontons was also light and perfect. As a Thai myself, the restaurant provides authentic Thai food (with very reasonable price) and understands our urge for having PrikNamPla (chili fish sauce) with our meal. “The Panang Curry is fantastic. The rice serving could have been larger for a dinner order but the flavor was fantastic. Ordered hot. Was spicy without being overpowering. Highly recommend. The Satay was decent. A little on the dry side but definitely not bad. The Gyoza were great.

A note on service, they are not the fastest. When they say 25-30 minutes for a takeout order, expect closer to the 30 minute mark. I also was there on a Sunday evening so maybe they were short staffed but there was little touch on the service side. Not bad, just not very rushed which is fine if as long as you go in with that expectation.

Long story short, this place has amazing food and you should eat here.“
