Alma Fonda Fina Reviews
We had reservations for an early dinner at Alma Fonda Fina! It is a Michelin Star Restaurant and let me tell you, they earned it! This wasn't about a meal to satisfy your hunger-this was a complete experience! One where you would see the beautiful plating, smell the aromas, take a bite, listen to your palate, then feel your taste buds sing! To feel individual flavors alone, yet understand the pairings! Our favorite dish was the scallops in tomato butter! May have been the best...read full review
We came here as a group of three with a reservation Sunday afternoon and our server was Fiona. She was absolutely excellent in describing the food and drinks, helped us figure out how many dishes to order, and paced out the meal perfectly. I ordered a shot of mezcal and she gave me a wealth of knowledge about the different options and about agave spirits as a whole, which was such a treat! The food was delicious and unique--great Mexican with a twist. Our server was fantastic as well, super helpful at describing and recommending items. And the price was very reasonable for the quality and experience. The margaritas are quite tasty, too!

Alma Fonda Fina offers a dining experience that redefines Mexican cuisine with epic flavors and skillful dishes. The food is impeccable and outstanding, with standout dishes like the smoky tuna tostada, tacos, and frijoles. The cocktails were well-crafted too, including the avocado margarita and regular margarita. The guacamole, sweet potato dish, and the star of the show, the Birria De Borrego (lamb shank), are all highlights on the menu. The food is next level and phenomenal, including the sourdough tortillas and the scallop, which is a must-try by the chef. The service is attentive and friendly, with some servers making the experience memorable, though at times disappointing with little attention. The restaurant ambiance is fun and very casual. The staff is accommodating to dietary restrictions, and the waitstaff takes note of any allergies. For a quieter and more private fine dining experience, it's recommended to sit outside. The price is so affordable that reservations are often booked in advance. Overall, Alma Fonda Fina is a must-visit for those looking to explore elevated Mexican cuisine in a vibrant setting.
