“We are big fans of this brewery. Last Friday we held my husband’s 39th birthday party for our friends at their location. They saved us two lovely tables in their covered patio and we were able to bring in a box of donuts for the party. Our friends were very accommodated by the brewery and we ended up having a great time. Plenty of space for all the kiddos to run around and play have fun environment. Great drinks, and some food available. Highly recommend for a fun and easy event to bring all the people together.“

“The environment, the decor, the vibes, the COFFEE 😩, and of course, the beer, are all so amazing at Alley Brews!! The little alley way brewery feels like your friends decked out garage, and everyone that works there feels like your friends. They are so kind and personable, it makes me want to be there all the time. Definitely stop by alley brews for a coffee or a beer, they’re delicious, but really if you just want to go to a place that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. “If you care about Belgian-style beer, Bruz is the best place in Colorado. Les Incompetents is a standout — layered, balanced, and the kind of beer that makes you slow down and pay attention instead of just drinking it—and reminds me of French dishes. The barrel-aged quad is the other one to chase: rich, warming, and complex without ever getting cloying. Both are worth going out of your way for.

The people are just as good as the beer. Kristin was clearly slammed the last time I was in and still managed to be gracious and on top of everything — no small feat. She and Carl (and the other staff, I would list them but I don’t. Know their names 😅 Yea) were also the ones who filled me in on the 10th anniversary, which I would have completely missed otherwise. That kind of hospitality is what turns a good taproom into a regular haunt.

I’ve been coming here often enough to say this with confidence: I have never had a bad food truck at Bruz. Not once. Whoever’s booking them deserves praise.

“Amazing service and awesome beer in a great location. I love checking out local breweries and this place did not disappoint. They have a lot of space and different types of seating (high or low tables, bar seating and some seats on patio outside. They’re also kid & dog-friendly, though dogs must stay on outdoor patio. The beer-tenders are super friendly and helped me find the beers I like there and are awesome to talk to. I have come here a handful of times since moving to Denver from Florida and I’m comfortable reading a book on my own, sitting at the bar and chatting with the beer-tenders or regulars (who are super friendly to newcomers), or watching a game on TV. It’s a Welcoming atmosphere and has a good selection of different beer styles (e.g., hazy and west coast IPA’s, blondes and wheat ales, jalapeño blonde ale, red ale, barrel aged stout, Sour, & limited editions). Plus several of their beers are gluten reduced and one of the beer-tenders who has celiacs says she and others with gluten intolerant folks are fine drinking them. It’s definitely become my new home brewery after living here just 5 weeks! They also have a bookshelf of board and card games you can play if you want to make it a game night!“

“My friend and I stopped here for a couple drinks to catch up, and it’s such a cute place! They have sweatshirts and t-shirts to purchase, and the assortment of draft beers is great. The World Cup was playing, and it’s definitely family friendly. They have multiple seating areas, including comfy couches and normal tables.“

“Nice folks with good beer in the heart of Downtown Denver. Food menu is limited but sandwiches are on-point. The BLT I had hit the spot. Great selection of local beers as well as other treats such as pickle shots and amaro on-tap. Bartenders are friendly and there is usually a small but interesting crowd during the day.“

“The staff is very nice and I didn't have to wait long at all for a beverage. The location also isn't too hard to get to (I biked from city park). The inside and outside have ample space. “We popped in for a beer and Dawn was awesome!! She turned me onto their boozy slushes....youza! The lemon was hard not to chug, it was so refreshing and yummy. The beer here is great too, it's just fun to have a new goodie to drink as well.

I love hazy IPAs and was a little disappointed there was only 1 on the menu, maybe that’s all theyre brewing right now but seems like they have one of each type of beer! The HAAAZY was more on the hoppy side and less citrusy. Typical prices, I’d say on the cheaper end.

“The tour of the Tower. Truly great. Be sure to go soon to see it while it is still original and a bit rough. Then go again after all the bells and whistles have been completed. It was soooo cool to see the view, hear the recording of the last transmission from the tower to the last flight to leave Stapleton airport. Learn about the history. A great experience!!!“

You can't even get that sometimes in pa in certain spots, Here taproom has a whole ghost kitchen inside and it's called little Arthur's...i had the brownie also although it's pretty pricey in there it's worth it for the experience even if you only do it once... you'll make the money to come back... the beers are pretty good here too so all and all I'll be back i almost finished my half of my cheesesteak my son finnessed his half so know we will be back. Maybe we will get a frequent visitor foodie dish... it's nice being a mystery critic on delicious foods because then the chef does it right and doesn't worry abt making mistakes...top notch... “The best spot. The owners do an incredible job of not just making great beer/having great cocktails & wine offerings but they also partner with some awesome food trucks & local creators. And beyond that, this is a business that truly fosters and builds a sense of community. We have met some of our closest friends in Denver at Novel Strand, and have taken some amaing workshops there. The staff is kind & friendly, and it’s our dog’s favorite place in the neighborhood too. Baker is better because of everything Novel brings to it, including (but not limited to) some really damn good neighborhood-brewed beer.“

“This place is definitely unique and that’s wonderful. Metal is the only music option here, don’t even try to change things up. In my experience it’s a welcoming and safe environment despite the initial look of the place. When you look around you warm up to it and see all the different stuff that’s been added to the place- the walls and such. I appreciate that there’s an outdoor space. The people who work here are friendly. The pizza is good. The wings are INSANELY good. There’s a heavy metal flea market here the last Sunday of the month. It’s a pretty cool place - I’m a repeat customer and will continue to go back. They also make good beer, don’t forget that part, but I figured that’s a given. It’s a safe space to be LGBTQ+ in this space. From what I can tell, hate won’t be tolerated at Black Sky, and I’m here for it.“
