“This is our go to brewery while the kids are next door training. All staff here are amazing. We have been coming here for about a year now and have developed great relationships with John and Linzie! So happy we stumbled across Half Penny! ♥️“
“Love this place! So friendly to groups.“
“Great whiskey and cocktails!“
“Amazing Beer and BBQ“
“Great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious beers and wine. My husband, son and I met Stephen the owner and he was such a great host.“
“We loved having our softball team’s end of season celebration here! The owner is so personable and outgoing. Tonight’s bartender (I’m sorry, I didn’t get her name) was amazing! Kept the drinks flowing, allowed kids to be kids and was just simply amazing. We love coming here, grabbing pizza from next door and mingling over delicious beer. What goes better together than books and beer?!“
“Public Offering has such a nice outdoor area, the beer was pretty good as well as the pear seltzer. I was honestly surprised it wasn't more busy when we went on Saturday afternoon. It's the perfect weekend activity especially when it's nice out“
“Best brewery in Aurora! Do yourself a favor and give them a try.“
“The passion and commitment from both owners is so readily apparent in both the barrelhouse space and in their interactions with me. These people love beer, and if you love beer then you should go here. Probably more than once, if you can swing it.Whether you're an enthusiastic beer enjoyer, an industry professional with a taste for some of the most technical and intentional beers in the world, or somewhere in between, you're going to have a great time. There is none of the menu colonization by IPAs, trendy dessert beers, or seasonal offerings that is all too prevalent in the modern American beer scene that makes picking a location to suit different beer drinkers so difficult. At Burns Family locations, those things are present in single offerings on a balanced and storied menu. There is a beer for everyone here, and the staff will enthusiastically and knowledgeably help everyone pick out their best pairing. If you're in Denver and you have time to go to one place, please make it this one. You will not regret it.“
“Casual atmosphere, incredible brews, and kombucha for those preferring NA...hard to beat Sanitas Brewing!“
“The Cape Canaveral key lime pie blonde was amazing!! Helles lager and the Event Horizon black IPA were good too, and I'm usually not much for sours however the Killer Klowns cotton candy sour was out of this world! Flew in for the weekend, sad we can't take beer on the plane home lol. Hefeweizen was disappointing, and the tangerine wheat had a soapy aftertaste, wouldn't do that one again. The Mischief Managed cream ale did not disappoint, like drinking an A&W cream soda except it's beer! Overall this was a great experience and gives me a reason to return to Denver, can't wait to come back!!“
“Amazing service and awesome beer in a great location. I love checking out local breweries and this place did not disappoint. They have a lot of space and different types of seating (high or low tables, bar seating and some seats on patio outside. They’re also kid & dog-friendly, though dogs must stay on outdoor patio. The beer-tenders are super friendly and helped me find the beers I like there and are awesome to talk to. I have come here a handful of times since moving to Denver from Florida and I’m comfortable reading a book on my own, sitting at the bar and chatting with the beer-tenders or regulars (who are super friendly to newcomers), or watching a game on TV. It’s a Welcoming atmosphere and has a good selection of different beer styles (e.g., hazy and west coast IPA’s, blondes and wheat ales, jalapeño blonde ale, red ale, barrel aged stout, Sour, & limited editions). Plus several of their beers are gluten reduced and one of the beer-tenders who has celiacs says she and others with gluten intolerant folks are fine drinking them. It’s definitely become my new home brewery after living here just 5 weeks! They also have a bookshelf of board and card games you can play if you want to make it a game night!“
“this has always been a really welcoming brewery with a great variety of beers. even with ownership changes they've maintained a consistent comfortable vibe. love how they connect with and support their community and local art! the barley wine is killer!“
“I came to Brewability & Pizzability with several of my colleagues from Therap Services after our National Conference last night. Food was awesome and the service was great. Thanks so much for hosting us!“
“Great Beer. Great Staff. Great Patio!!“
“Excellent Service and Atmosphere. If you need a place to get beers & food for those who have food allergies THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO CHECK OUT.“
“Burns ales is on my very short list of breweries that I take visiting beer friends. Wayne is a master brewer and their staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly. Kolsch service on Sundays is one of my favorite days. Blueberry milk stout, field beer, lambics!!! So many unique styles you don't normally see in Denver.“
“Great place! Being a homebrewer, I don’t have many options for a home brewery supply shop near me. Great full service shop that has had everything I’ve needed for home brewing. It’s awesome that they have a brewery so I can buy a beer before I go shop. Dry Dock is an award-winning brewery and they’re always pushing the envelope with new flavors like sour apricot, Vanilla Porter, and pumpkin barleywine. The space is great and would be good for any special event. They have a brewing classroom that would be awesome for a Magic beer tasting event.“
“great beer and staff will be going back“
“Great food, cozy, rustic atmosphere“

“I have never eaten at a hotel restaurant before, but a colleague and I decided to eat dinner here after arriving from the airport! I had a delicious Rueben sandwich with a side Caesar salad. Everything is reasonably priced. The service was great, too.
I was here at a conference that provided a few dinners, but not every day. I did room service one night, as I didn’t want to go out. It was quick and delicious. That time, I had the Bacon Cheddar Burger with fries.
I wish I would have tried it for breakfast.“
“We recently visited Downhill Brewing, and it was a fantastic experience! The welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for our Sunday.
A big thank you to Matty, whose exceptional service made our visit memorable. Thank you, Matty, for your wonderful service! We will definitely be back soon to enjoy more amazing brews at Downhill Brewing! Highly recommend!“
“Arta is the best experience for a moderately priced tequila I have ever tasted. Very smooth and an aroma that is exceptional! The Mexican restaurant I frequent very often is trying to order. I live in Sheridan Wyoming. We like good quality alcohol here!!! La Herradura, downtown Sheridan.“
“Great place, great people.“
“An absolute delight! The patio is a great hang, the stout was fabulous:)“
“After a few years of saying, "We really need to try Lone Tree Brewing," we finally had a free afternoon and made it happen.
We had a good experience. We ordered 2 brews. One was the Pumpkin Ale, which had just the right balance of spices—not too overpowering. The other was the Nitro Cream Ale which was smooth, creamy, and oh-so-even better than expected!
One of the best things about Colorado is the endless stream of high-quality craft breweries. I love that places like this are locally owned and run. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping in for at least one drink.
There are plenty of reviews with photos so I won’t bore with details. There is plenty of room inside and out to sit and the food trucks seem like a good option for food.
Moses agrees—high-quality brews are always worth the journey!“
“Love this local brewery! Two22 is such a great small business and has done so much for their community, with events, fundraisers, and a portion of every beer sold going to select charities. Their beers are well crafted and their staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re new to the area, check them out during the week when they are not so busy. We love going for an easy date night where we bring food to the brewery or we look at their Facebook to see what food trucks are there that night. Highly recommend trying to get their Patio Peach in the summer. It’s delicious!“
“The staff are amazing here and the beer is fantastic! My husband enjoyed their beers and company for a couple hours while I was getting a tattoo next door at The White Lotus. I stopped in for a beer after my tattoo. We will definitely go back.“
“Great meet up spot. We really enjoyed the beer and the vibes!“
“Great food, great beer, friendly efficient service. Would recommend! So many good food options, you gotta go super hungry and more than once. Such a wide variety of beer outings, too! Large patio with misters makes it enjoyable in any temp“
“The first time I visited Novel Strand was in August 2022. I had just moved to town, and my wife and I stumbled in to get some work done since we didn't have Internet yet in our house.
Fast-forward two years later, and this is one of my favorite places to drink, hang out, and just *be* in Denver.
I've visited over 40 Denver-area breweries, and Novel Strand is top-five, for sure; maybe even top-three. The New Zealand hops create a really memorable and unique beer experience, and the other beer offerings—lagerbiers, pale lagers, kölschs, and more—are just as tasty.
Most important, though, are the staff. Gigi, Oona, Adam, and Sarahi—as well as former staff members Maxwell, Rachel, and Shant—are delightful servers and people. Our lives in and around Denver are better because we feel so at home at NS.
Cheers, Novel Strand! Thanks for everything!“
“Great beer even better food. The food is super fresh, delicious and served fast. The beer was excellent too. Only complaint is it wasn’t busy yet all the tables were dirty. I cleaned ours as did other patrons after cruising around looking for clean tables. The menus were dirty too. Otherwise 5 stars“
“Awesome brews, super delicious spicy chicken sandwiches (mad respect to your spice tolerance if you can go beyond the Nashville hot), and a fun heavy metal atmosphere with friendly service. Would recommend if you dig a spooky vibe and metal music.“
“I visited the new Prost Brewing in Northglenn this past Sunday for an event my business partner and I hosted. We had the most fantastic experience! Not only are the drinks amazing (I highly recommend the tangerine seltzer and the espresso martini), food was delicious, atmosphere lively, but staff was friendly and super easy to work with as well. We really appreciated management working with us to host our event here! We will absolutely be back!!!“

“A friend recommended this place for their tacos, and the restaurant did not disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the toppings were delicious -- especially the green tomato salsa. I could eat that with a spoon. We also had an order of hush puppies, which were light and fluffy and flavorful without sauce. Dip them in the maple bbq (a little spicy) or the green tomato sauce to take them to the next level.“
“What a great place to hang out with friends or meet someone new on the long tables.
Shade and misters provided.
A nice variety of beers and the food is amazing.
Lots seems to be made outside on the grilles.
Large glass bottle of water and glass drinking glasses provided and never were out of stock or empty.
Clean restrooms.
Parking a bit of an issue but most seem to be walking here from the neighborhood.
Very dog friendly. Probably saw 20 dogs over a period of 3 1/2 hours.
Was first time here, but will definitely go back.
Highly recommend, a fun historic place where it "all got started"“

“Excellent experience. I was expecting the standard bar first, food second brewpub restaurant. This definitely exceeded those expectations. I had a beer and the French dip with fries and both were excellent. I'll definitely be coming back.
Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is a bit less kid friendly than you would expect at a brewery. This place presents more of a restaurant than a bar vibe.“
