“Bruz is an exceptionally good brewery that stands out even in Denver's crowded beer scene for beers and service that are both a perfect 5 stars. They're the only brewery that makes Belgian beers that actually taste like they're from Belgium and they're continually innovating in interesting ways. There's always something new to try, or you can go with the range of classics, which span any beer tastes you might have. I've had many great visits to this location and enjoyed consistently good service.

The one (and only) time I had a problem during one of my visits, the owners of the brewery contacted me and made up for the problem in a way that went far beyond any expectations I had. I've heard many anecdotes of other local businesses in Denver not carring about customer complaints. Bruz responded to my problem with overwhelming kindness, which shows how much they care about their customers.

“This place is such a fun experience. The location, views, the open patio space make it a great meetup spot! The brews are refreshing with a selection to suit all palettes from IPA to Belgian to German Lager, it's got everyone covered. And, food trucks fill your belly! I enjoy it most especially during the summer for the patios, but it's a cozy spot during the winters, as well. The place does get packed, so be sure to plan accordingly with parking and otherwise.“

“that CZECH DAM PILSNER, I tell ya! I am in a weekly church group where we meet up in different breweries for a couple of hours and engaging discussions. Only in Colorado, home of The Great American Beer Festival, right? That said, this place has always been one of our favorite places.

The staff is friendly and has even remembered me, though I'm the rarest of regulars with my group. There always seems to be multiple meetups happening, but the space is big enough to accommodate, especially when it's warm for the little front patio. Even with the noise of people, it's still comfortable to talk and have a great time. For a party of two or a get down and party to raise good cheer, this is a terrific and TASTY place to tip one back!“

There are a lot of breweries in the Denver area, but very few truly great brewers. Bob Mack is one of the best. The variety here is impressive—everything from classic styles to more adventurous pours—and the standout part is that every beer is good, while most are genuinely great.

The beers are balanced, flavorful, and true to their roots. You can taste the craft and discipline in each pint—nothing gimmicky, just excellent brewing done right.

The vibe is like a local beer hall: a perfect mix of regulars, locals, and visitors, all enjoying great beer together. It feels welcoming, unpretentious, and authentic.

They’re also updating the patio for 2026, so stay tuned—this place is only getting better.

“First time here. Nice, clean open space with great outdoor seating. Fun relaxing vibes and the staff is really nice and friendly. Beers are really tasty and they have fun events there too. When I was there they were doing bingo. I'll definitely be back!“

They have a lot of space and different types of seating (high or low tables, bar seating and some seats on patio outside. They’re also kid & dog-friendly, though dogs must stay on outdoor patio. The beer-tenders are super friendly and helped me find the beers I like there and are awesome to talk to. I have come here a handful of times since moving to Denver from Florida and I’m comfortable reading a book on my own, sitting at the bar and chatting with the beer-tenders or regulars (who are super friendly to newcomers), or watching a game on TV. It’s a Welcoming atmosphere and has a good selection of different beer styles (e.g., hazy and west coast IPA’s, blondes and wheat ales, jalapeño blonde ale, red ale, barrel aged stout, Sour, & limited editions). Plus several of their beers are gluten reduced and one of the beer-tenders who has celiacs says she and others with gluten intolerant folks are fine drinking them. It’s definitely become my new home brewery after living here just 5 weeks! They also have a bookshelf of board and card games you can play if you want to make it a game night!“

“As a local, it’s really nice to have Novel Strand Brewing just off the South Broadway strip. It started as a great spot for coffee and beer and has grown into a true neighborhood hub. Between trivia nights, dumpling-making classes, book gatherings, run clubs, and more, there’s always something happening.
