“This place is definitely unique and that’s wonderful. Metal is the only music option here, don’t even try to change things up. In my experience it’s a welcoming and safe environment despite the initial look of the place. When you look around you warm up to it and see all the different stuff that’s been added to the place- the walls and such. I appreciate that there’s an outdoor space. The people who work here are friendly. The pizza is good. The wings are INSANELY good. There’s a heavy metal flea market here the last Sunday of the month. It’s a pretty cool place - I’m a repeat customer and will continue to go back. They also make good beer, don’t forget that part, but I figured that’s a given. It’s a safe space to be LGBTQ+ in this space. From what I can tell, hate won’t be tolerated at Black Sky, and I’m here for it.“

My second time in I was pleasantly surprised with some very talented musicians and stayed much longer than intended! Stoked to spend many more nights here!! They have games to play too! “we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“Visting Denver from out of town, I stopped by here on a coworker's recommendation. Boy he was not wrong! The Dunkel was delicious, and the Adult Mac & Cheese with a Smoked Sausage was fantastic. The crisped parmigian topping the Mac & Cheese was WOW! Wait staff was prompt and friendly, and checked on me just the right amount.“

“Excellent! This is exactly what a beer and burger downtown should be! Had the Wynkoop burger—this is a bison burger and it’s the best burger I’ve had in years. Had the LODO IPA which was flavorful and aromatic! Great atmosphere and service. Do yourself a favor and check this place out next time your downtown in Denver“

“Nice folks with good beer in the heart of Downtown Denver. Food menu is limited but sandwiches are on-point. The BLT I had hit the spot. Great selection of local beers as well as other treats such as pickle shots and amaro on-tap. Bartenders are friendly and there is usually a small but interesting crowd during the day.“

“The best cheesesteak I've eaten in a while and i was skeptical.... but when i tell you the steak was real rib eye? You can't even get that sometimes in pa in certain spots, Here taproom has a whole ghost kitchen inside and it's called little Arthur's...i had the brownie also although it's pretty pricey in there it's worth it for the experience even if you only do it once... you'll make the money to come back... the beers are pretty good here too so all and all I'll be back i almost finished my half of my cheesesteak my son finnessed his half so know we will be back. Maybe we will get a frequent visitor foodie dish... it's nice being a mystery critic on delicious foods because then the chef does it right and doesn't worry abt making mistakes...top notch... I'll be back...i got exactly what i asked for in flavour“

“Outstanding service and a really delicious meal. Certainly not what I expected in an airport location. The FoCo Cobb Salad was delicious with lots of crispy bacon. Our burger was actually cooked medium rare as requested. Well done New Belgium!“
