“Great place - often book punk bands and support Punk Rock Saves Lives. I think they often have jam band hippie music. Not my style - but hey there's a massive crowd for it in Denver, so more power to them. This is everything you would want in a bar in the part of Colfax that's still Colfax. Bartender is super cool, and plenty of spots if you want your own space. My only negative is that I wish I could go there more!I did this review 2 years ago is now “new”. “Great bar, venue, and BBQ! I really enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere at Globe Hall. I had brisket and pulled pork with a TRVE brew before the show, all tasted great. Tickets were affordable to see an indie group I’ve been following for a while. Vibe during the show was fun and intimate. Definitely worth checking out this venue/bar/restaurant.“
“Always a pleasure. This is one of the most random places but always a great spot for a good time. Pool tables in the back or sit at the bar in a boat captains chair. We work across the street so come in often, order some cluck chicken from next door and play pool. It's an awesome hang.“

“The atmosphere is killer. Spacious. Could use more TVs playing different horror movies. The food menu is artisan for a fair price. The poutine was good. I'm not vegan but thier options are really good. The drinks (insert Ric Flair woo) are sweet and sneak up on you. I'm a gin drinker. The levitated corpse was amazing. Definitely coming back.“

“We have enjoyed going to the Berkeley Inn for years. It is a great spot on Tennyson that offers fresh drinks, friendly bartenders and a really fun night life. We've had a blast on Karaoke Nights. The Karaoke DJ is super friendly, runs a smooth request system and keeps the energy at a high level. The phone request system is smooth and allows for a lot of participation from the karaoke crowd. Always happy to spend a weekend day/evening at Berkeley Inn!“

“I have passed by many times so I finally came in and loved it! First off my my server Tyler was so great at feilding all of my questions and making the time fun. The Gyro plate was so good! I also tried a seasonal Irish coffee and it was delicious. To top it off you get to hear live pianists play for you. Great vibes!“

The business had a back up plan and used it as needed, the management seemed to have even a reserve plan (after back up filled) and used the reserve as needed.“

“Heaven is found in dive bars, and this is the pinnacle. I arrived around 7, so I found a spot at the bar before the crowd started to fill in and the band began. And it filled quickly after I arrived. Watching the magic of the bar filling up was pure joy. Don’t have particular tastes in alcohol because the options are gloriously limited. This bar is old, it’s run down, and it’s perfect. The bartenders are also so friendly. I’m glad I found this small slice of heaven while visiting Denver.“

“My husband and I went to meet a friend from high school. Outside didn't do it justice at all. Only thing is Owner needs to have the young males away from bar. If I was alone I would not go there alone at all.Inside was amazing and clean. Atmosphere people were friendly and bartender were awesome!!! Bathroom clean. But there were no finger foods at all...all around awesome place to go as a couple...“
“We had a great time. Bartenders were more attentive to the regulars but still friendly when approached. Crowd and music are hit or miss but our night lacked neither. The DJs were playing an incredible mix of songs from the 70s to present. Really versatile and something for all dancers. As soon as he leaned into the reggaeton, Afrobeats, and 90/2000 hip hop we were sold. Singing and dancing without abandon. Good mix of seating option. Front bar, tables in back, and outdoor patio. The secret win- is that the pizza places"famous j" is accessible through the patio! Tasty pizza!!!“

I stopped in today.I was the only non Hispanic person in the bar.This may be the absolutely friendliest bar I've ever been in. Lots of people introducing themselves and welcoming me. “Been at this location maybe 3 times during my 12 years in Denver, CO. It is definitely unique for a bar, food is pretty good, and the employees are great. Never was a regular there as I had to work for a living. Most of the patrons that went there were retired older folks who like the "Cheers" crowd, like in the TV show.“
“This is my first time going to Don's Tavern on my way back from Alaska me and my boyfriend at the time stop there to have another drink cuz we liked it so much and unfortunately we didn't realize what time it was and they were doing last call but I cannot wait to go back I had such a good time with the people that I met there! You guys are awesome and they definitely take their job seriously because they have a security guy at the door checking IDs when needed just so there's no underage drinking! “This is annoying must visit, but probably once. This is a dive bar out of time, with the energy and space from a 1970s bar, complete with “this has been smoked in a ton over the years” smell. It’s a whole experience, they give woman who come in a rose. Very cuteKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. I mean you could probably bring a kid but I don’t know why you would.“
