Starbucks in Denver

“Friends of the internet, there is something weird going on at this is a Starbucks.

It looks like an ordinary Starbucks from the outside. They sell the exact same Starbucks things as any Starbucks. It is - I would imagine - everything Starbucks corporate wants in a store…clean, well stocked, etc etc.

But the PEOPLE! They are next level. My wife and I only come to Denver maybe twice a year. This staff remembers our names, where we are from, and why we are here even though they see us like 10 days a year.

We get our food and sit down and watch an absolute parade of regulars come through. All known by name, all getting the easy and comfortable interactions of old friends.

I honestly have no idea how they accomplish these feats of connection and customer service, but man it’s something to see. Highly recommend.“

“Arrived this morning at this Starbucks expecting to just kill some time before the days activities. Adrien was an energetic polite professional young adult that immediately made the morning better and the tasks ahead less burdening. I was not only politely offered a mug for my dine experience. After I sat dow I was offered water. To some no big deal, to me a huge uptick in the service offered at so many places today. Then while sitting and watching this whole crew work it was nothing short of impressive. The window crew knew a number of clear regulars coming through the drive through having pleasant and uplifting conversation and service. The team worked together flawlessly as I sat in their very clean lobby and enjoyed what could best be referred to as poetry in motion. These people had never seen me before and in all likelihood will never see me again. But if this is a representation of their daily service the community around here is blessed. And probably don’t tell them enough. I don’t have all their names but their manager and this corporation should consider themselves fortunate to have great young professional's working for them.“

This place was amazing. They are much fancier than a normal Starbucks. They have a lot of comfy chairs, besides just wood. They also use real plates and cups, instead of just plastic. My breakfast sandwich and lemonade were top tier. End of story.“

She was so kind to me on a snowy day when I came in to work remotely a bit before visiting clients (it was my 4th day on the job), and just her little positive actions really impacted my day in the right direction. “The staff at this Starbucks location are absolutely amazing! I honestly don't mind driving an extra 10 minutes out of my way before work because the service here is always worth it.

“Take refuge in another country.
If you are being prosecuted in your home country then it is your right to be in another country taking refuge. You can actually get a lawyer for this. First couching is not okay they made me pay $4 for a drip coffee twice.“

“This location flawlessly executed an extremely large order with little to no notice. We served over 200 people coffee thanks to the amazing employees at this location. “I visit Starbucks daily, this is my favorite one! I have been coming to this Starbucks for about 8 years now! I just love it! Shout out to all the baristas! Thanks for helping me get through my days, weeks, months, and years! They are always so friendly, patient, and nice and hard working. You know you have a stellar barista, (Carolyn!!) one that goes above and beyond when they take a photo of your friends adorable dog and turn it into a sticker and put it on the customer’s coffee cup. I believe the guy at the register was Michael and the girl that was working with him on the afternoon of 11/22 were both great! Wished I lived closer. This would be my go to store for sure! “Really nice Starbucks! Even during their busiest times, they’re still able to get my order out in a reasonable time when compared to other Starbucks I’ve been to in the past.

The staff is great & all are really nice & friendly, greeting me & other “regulars” by name & striking conversations beyond what the average barista would do-even if they’re busy filling other people’s orders. Grace, Jenny, Lisa, & another woman who I forget her name (older, dark hair, fellow lover of Nightmare Before Christmas) especially deserve a shoutout from me, as they all have been really great & I always enjoy seeing them when I come in!“

“This Starbucks on 17th Avenue is easily one of my favorite coffee shops anywhere. Located inside a stunning office building with a beautiful atrium, it has an atmosphere that’s welcoming, energetic, and unlike any typical Starbucks experience.

The team here is exceptional. Jack, Dom, Justin, and manager Brian consistently go above and beyond to make every visit memorable. Their positive energy is contagious, and the cowboy hats add a fun, unique touch that always puts a smile on my face.

The service is outstanding, and the quality is even better. Dom makes my vanilla chai absolutely perfect every single time—seriously, it’s the gold standard. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and you can tell the entire team takes pride in creating a great experience for every customer.

If you’re looking for a Starbucks with incredible people, amazing drinks, great food, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, this is the place. Huge thanks to Brian and the entire crew for making every visit something I look forward to!“

“The manager j is always pleasant and polite, along with maybe two other baristas. However, the other employees at work there act like they're the gatekeepers at some fancy club and always turn their nose at the customers. The manager is always polite. He knows me by name and I appreciate the effort He puts in to run that Starbucks. But the rest their work except for 2 are rude.“

“Since Marilú started taking over the afternoons on Mondays, everything has leveled up. The store is spotless her crew is on point and the energy she brings just makes the whole place better. I stop by often and it is clear she doesn’t just manage she inspires the people around her. She definitely deserves some kind of recognition, whether that is employee of the month or something even more special. I was in a rush to catch a van and didn’t have time to spare, but she managed to provide change for my van tip and whip up my drink in under 90 seconds, seriously impressive! “This expansive Starbucks is in the southwest corner of the Tivoli Student Union complex on the Auraria Campus. It has a huge, multilevel outdoor patio plus lots of group and individual inside seating, nicely broken up into many different sections.

We stopped in on a quiet afternoon and were promptly greeted by friendly staffers who soon produced the latte and hot chocolate we ordered. The drinks were well-made and we enjoyed a quiet respite in this comfortable location.

The store was clean and well-stocked. My girlfriend, who attended school here over 30 years ago, was thrilled to find such a nice coffee shop on campus as there were no such amenities in her day. We resumed our walk refueled and refreshed.“

“INCREDIBLE CHARGE STATION. Literally every seat facing out towards the parking lot has a usb and /or 3 prong outlet to charge laptop. In total I believe you have 4 two tops each withTheir own 3Prong outlet and then an 8 top bar that is fitted with 16 usb and 8 3 prongs I believe. It’s small and quaint but it packs a bigger punch than any other Starbucks targetCombo I’ve ever seen when it comes to a working or studying individual.Now did I get any coffee here? No. I just charged the laptop I just bought and was impressed. ?“

“This was my first time visiting this Starbucks location, and it is a very nice place to visit for coffee and tea! The atmosphere is open and inviting, and the customer service is wonderful! Also, I really like that it is conveniently located a few miles from the Denver International Airport. For these reasons, I highly recommend visiting this Starbucks on your next adventure!“

I felt welcomed, but most of all, I felt heard. Starbucks has not been on my go-to list for a while now, the changes were a little too much for me. “Recently visited and casually asked if they sold ground espresso because I had run out at home and forgot to pick some up on my last grocery run. The barista said that, unfortunately they did not, but then immediately offered to let her manager know to start ordering it in the future. Appreciate the excellent customer service!“

“Inside the Target store, this Starbucks coffee location is very convenient. They have just about the full menu of hot food items including breakfast egg sandwiches and cake pops and pound cake. We were able to get our food and coffee very quickly and we appreciate the friendly staff here..“

“The staff is usually friendly and quick with orders. It's nice to be able to grab a drink before you start shopping or before you check out. The recent reorganization and installation of security measures has made it slightly less convenient to access.“

“The only complaint I have is I keep asking for Trash Cans on the outside of the store and STILL nothing. Even ONE can would help with the previous day's order since I am there almost everyday. I don't like seeing empties all along the drive thru. The staff may not see it, but I have to look at it, and it makes the area look bad. CURB APPEAL is important for marketing!✌“

“This is a review specifically for Brandon. Wonderful young guy who sometimes works the drive through. When he’s working the drive through I know my order will be made correctly and he always does it in a genuinely attentive and helpful manner. He’s the best.“

“Usually a really great service. Today I went through the drive thru because I made a last minute decision to grab a drink before class. Lady at the window seemed a bit confused that I wasn’t doing mobile order? Usually I do but it felt like by not doing a mobile order I was an inconvenience.“

“There's a lady named Robin who works here and is freaking awesome! She will memorize her regular customers coffee, and have it pre-made. I'm kind of a regular but not in enough for her to pay much attention but of course she does, she knows when I need an extra shot of expression in my coffee and always puts extra chocolate or Carmel of my coffee depending on what I order...She deserves a fat raise! We need more people like her in the world!“

“The service was super friendly from the staff, I really liked the coffee and also the location of the cafe, I highly recommend going! The bathroom is clean and ready to use, I spent an hour working and everything was perfect! A safe and comfortable environment with sockets and wifi!“

“I go to this Starbucks once a week or so. They're really on top of their drinks, especially when you order online. The staff are all very sweet, and are always willing to help. The drive thru does get backed up around 6 to 730 so please be kind. Ive come to this starbucks for years and I think I've only had 1 or 2 issues, max. There is room to sit inside, like most starbucks. Their restrooms are locked with keypads due to homelessness, I believe. But they keep them cleaned up pretty nicely.“

“I placed an order for 3 coffee travelers at 6 am and everything was ready 35 minutes later when I arrived. They even asked if I needed different creamer types. Very helpful and friendly. It made my early morning for an important meeting flow very smoothly. Bravo“

“When I was looking up a Starbucks google said it was a drive thru. It's not, it's inside of Safeway. So just a heads up in case you're looking for a drive thru. Other than that our drinks were good and the barista was wonderful.“

“I have been coming to this Starbucks every Friday for the past year and barista Alyssa is amazing every time I come in. She knows exactly what I want and she makes it delicious every time. Even standing in line, every drink I see her make she puts love in to making it just right for each person. Even when she's running around busy, She always has a smile on her face and is always polite. I definitely will keep this as my every Friyay Starbucks stop. : )“

“I decided to walk in because the drive thru was packed and I had some gift cards I needed to use. Cashier was friendly and so were the staff working hard making drinks. However, as I was standing waiting for my drink I noticed a man with gray hair and glasses speaking to the girl who on bar holding an iPad on the opposite side of the handoff plane. He seemed irritated with her and I heard him say something like “ You can keep the attitude.” and was very short with her the rest of the time I was in there. I felt that was very inappropriate and the girl tried to stand up for herself but seemed stressed by his behavior . Even if he was the manager or something, you should treat your staff with more kindness and consideration as all spaces are customer facing. I worked at Starbucks all through college and that certainly isn’t how I would’ve treated any of my fellow partners especially in the lobby of the store. The third place should still exist for partners. My drink was delicious but please be kind to your workers they’re doing their best.“

“Edit as of 7/9/2026: they have really improved and I haven't had an incorrect drink here in the last 10 visits so yay they are obviously taking the feedback into consideration!

Unfortunately this is the only drive
thru location on my way to work so I frequently make mobile orders here, although I will rather go to starbucks in a King Soopers to avoid coming here because they have only properly made my drink ONCE in the past two years. They always forget to put the toppings on my drinks, or put the incorrect cold foam. It should not that hard to read two ingredients on an iced coffee :( at this point I have flushed dozens of dollars down the drain because I have paid extra for these toppings that I never received. It's partially my fault for being too stupid/timid to check the drink before driving off. But at this point I literally give up on this location and will just have to go without my beloved starbies unless I can make it to a different location 🫠“

“I came to cherry creek to use a birthday giftcard then went to macys to shop for my grandmas birthday. First stop was starbucks inside where i had a tasty coffee. In the midst of there and shopping i forgot my h&m shopping bag on the counter. After shopping i got home and realized this then zipped back. “Normal starbucks, but tip for management. Include teaching your staff to annunciate. I asked a question at the front, and I couldn't hear the girl because she was speaking so softly twice, someone standing ~5 feet behind her did annunciate and answered my question and I heard her without problem. Especially since the COVID plastic is still up.“

“Quick service and awesome employees today.I went in this morning after breaking my French press to buy a new one and grab a latte since I'm there.My hand had a cut on it and when Alyssa,the barista, noticed it. She asked if I was okay. After explaining my situation that I was grabbing a French press, then getting a first aid kit, she insisted on giving me a bandaid and doctoring me up as well. Never have I experienced this level of servitude, not even a hospital. I couldn't be more grateful for Alyssa.
