It felt like a while in the moment, but I think I just showed up on a day that they had a slow start.I only got the Loco-Moco to go. It was very hearty, the portion was large and the gravy had great rich flavor to it. For my first Loco Moco, I was impressed. The portions are massive too, it was easily two meals.“

“We could smell this place as we left Porter hospital. So glad we found it. The food is simply perfect. The pork and brisket sandwiches were so moist and delicious. The Homemade potato chips were fresh, crisp and perfectly salted. The staff were welcoming, friendly and so very kind. They quickly got our food to us. The were nice and super professional. They had obvious pride in their food. They offered us a sample of AMAZING Mac and cheese and perfect lil Carmel puffs with peanuts. We live in Fountain but will happily drive to Denver for this wonderful place. Not only is the BBQ on point but the staff are great! Thank you!“
“Love L&L. Originally had gone to the Aurora location, but this one is much closer. Food was still great. Staff was very friendly (thanks Sandy!) They give you good portions for the price. There is a small seating area at this location. Maybe 8 or so tables, varied in size. Def recommend!“

“I’m from Memphis. The owner of this restaurant is from Yazoo, MS and was inspired by Memphis style BBQ. He wanted to open up a shop in Memphis, but instead of competing with his friend, Craig (owner of one of Memphis’ best BBQ joints, Central BBQ), he moved to Denver and opened up Yazoo. Let me tell you this place is more than divine. It is literally the best BBQ in Denver without a doubt, and competes with the best in Memphis as well. Congrats to the chefs! “Have eaten here a couple of times. The menu is more than ample for anyone looking to satisfy a yen for meaty BBQ goodness. Also, plenty of delicious sides. I recently ate lunch here during my break so no alcohol for me but there is a well optioned bar here for libations. You'll need to enter in to the restaurant from the hotel, either through front lobby or there is a door back by Smok itself. There is a fairly tight parking lot out front or use the hotel parking garage out back. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very casual so don't worry about showing up in your uniform. We will be back here again.“

Food was great, especially the catfish, shrimp, sausage and greens. The portions were generous and we left with leftovers enough for another whole meal.
