“The prime brisket is best in Denver and we've tried most of it. Even the lean brisket is amazingly moist and you don't need sauce (although their sauce is really good too). Try the Texas links with the light colored sauce they include... rich rich sausage contrasts wonderful with the sauce. They have some of the most interesting cuts in town especially if you're looking for something a little unusual.“

“Came with friends and had an absolutely AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Right off the bat we were greeted by David the Chef who was so kind and warm. But it had nothing on the food! Everything was so authentic and delicious. The chicken was so flavorful and crispy. And the rice was “the original” the best. The ginger lemonade was the icing on the top of the cake, so fresh! There was cozy covered chairs and couches outside with spacious tables to, which you’ll need for all the delicious food you’re going to get! Will DEFINITELY be coming again!“

“I first heard about and went to Post Oak with my daughter and son-in-law last year and was surprised to find such great bbq here in Denver! It’s actually been a little while since I’ve been over there, but a new coworker who has recently moved to Denver and lives in Highlands, asked me about restaurants and I recommended you. He loves it! Recently I swung by to take the Post up on the fantastic coupon offer for a free pulled pork sandwich. It is quite a distance from where I live (Aurora), but definitely worth the drive. It was piled high with the tender pork and those wonderful onion rings! The side of fried okra completed the meal perfectly! Thank you so much for a great lunch (and dinner). See you again soon!“

“Stopped in when they were just opening at the leetsdale location. Wish i could remember the customer service reps name as he was very helpful. The dining room is very small and is sparsely decorated but it serves the purpose. Food was excellent. We had a couple ribs each, some pulled pork and then ordered some of each to go. Brothers is one of our favorite spots for BBQ. Thanks Brothers.“

Jason was so incredibly kind and stayed open a few minutes late for us so we could try. we got the bbq sandwich and potato chips which have a slight bbq taste. we also got the fried mac which was so yummy! better than most! and then we got the hot link tots. I wish there were more hot links for that but Jason was kind enough to let us try the bbq chicken and we added it to the hot link tots and it was amazing. Quality bbq and excellent service!“

“We stopped at Aviator’s Sports Bar & BBQ and had a really good experience. I ordered the fish and chips with a side salad, and everything tasted great. The fish came out hot and fresh with a crispy golden coating on the outside while staying tender and flaky on the inside. It was served with tartar sauce, coleslaw, ketchup, and a lemon wedge. The side salad was also impressive and much better than the plain little salads you sometimes receive at a sports bar. It had plenty of fresh mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, croutons, and dressing.

The prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we received. The menu offered a good variety of choices, including burgers, sandwiches, barbecue, wings, salads, fish and chips, and several different sides. They also had a solid beer selection with domestic favorites, Colorado craft beers, and other popular choices.

The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, making it a great place to grab a meal, enjoy a cold beer, and watch a game while waiting on a flight. The food arrived looking good, the portions were generous, and the overall value was excellent.

If you are looking for good food at a fair price, Aviator’s Sports Bar & BBQ is definitely worth stopping at. We enjoyed our meal and would gladly eat here again.“

We had BBQ ribs, catfish, shrimp gumbo, hushpuppies, mac and cheese, and fried okra—and every single dish was phenomenal. The BBQ ribs were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, falling right off the bone. The catfish was perfectly fried with a crisp, golden coating and flaky, well-seasoned meat inside. The shrimp gumbo was rich and comforting, with deep, authentic and creole flavor that represented the cuisine from back home to a T. The sides were just as impressive. The hushpuppies were warm and perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, and the fried okra was seasoned just right with a satisfying crunch. You can tell these owners truly understands its cuisine—everything was done right. If you’re looking for authentic bbq, seafood or comfort food, this spot is an absolute must. We’ll definitely be back!
