“I've been looking for a place that really serves true Texas barbecue. This is the place! I had the smoked turkey, brisket, and texas sausage with potato sald and barbecue beans on the side. First thing I did was try each item by itself and without any sauces. The meats were tender and smoked just right! The beans were smoked and filled with sausage and brisket. It could've been a meal on its own. The potato salad was made from scratch with the skin still on the taters and it wasn't too mayonnaisey or mustardy. I chose the sweet and smokey sauce to start dipping some meats into and it was an awesome addition, not to overpowering. They gave a small container of a cheesy sauce to go with the turkey that gave it an added zing. I really liked it.
The atmosphere was a family reunion style with multiple types of seating. It wasn't as flashy as some places, almost poor boy like, but it felt homey to me.
The guys running this place were true Texas friendly, but not bothersome at all.
They have all kinds of drinks but I chose to wash back my food with good Ole fashioned sweet tea. Drank straight from a mason jar, it just added to the ambiance of the establishment.
This is the place to eat of you're from Texas like me and wanna feel a bit at home. Thanks Riot BBQ. Y'all did a great job!“

“Staff is great, Atmosphere was relaxed. My first time there so I can only comment on the food I ate. I have not had such tender ribs in a very long time and the sauce im curious if they sell it because it was great tasting. I ordered the pull pork and boy was it tender, the beans were great with lots meat in them, and my goodness the onion rings were better than my homemade ones lol, nice and crispy full of flavor. I believe I just found my new BBQ spot. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other food I haven't tasted. I definitely recommend. Hoping they sell their BBQ sauce.“

“I first heard about and went to Post Oak with my daughter and son-in-law last year and was surprised to find such great bbq here in Denver! It’s actually been a little while since I’ve been over there, but a new coworker who has recently moved to Denver and lives in Highlands, asked me about restaurants and I recommended you. He loves it! Recently I swung by to take the Post up on the fantastic coupon offer for a free pulled pork sandwich. It is quite a distance from where I live (Aurora), but definitely worth the drive. “We recently had this AMAZING restaurant cater our wedding party and HOLY COW! They went above and beyond. They supplied the food truck so my guests could easily get their food instead of catered style and it was a huge hit!!! I want to thank the two employees who helped us out especially Tony (I hope I'm getting his name right) but he went above and beyond making sure all my guests were happy, checked in with me multiple times throughout the evening, and even packed extra food for my new husband and I to take home. “Jollof-Jollof Food Truck and Mobile deserves five stars. The Senegalese food here is full of rich flavor, warmth and culture. The jollof rice was the standout — seasoned beautifully, cooked perfectly and full of that deep, comforting flavor that makes West African food so special.
The lamb was amazing. It was tender, flavorful and seasoned with care. Every bite had a great balance of spices, rice and meat, and nothing felt rushed or basic. You can tell the chef understands the cuisine and puts real passion into each plate.
The chef is the best. The food tastes homemade, authentic and made with pride. I highly recommend Jollof-Jollof Food Truck and Mobile to anyone looking for delicious Senegalese food, amazing jollof rice and some of the best lamb around.“

It's a long drive from Canon City, but always order a slab of ribs to go when in Denver. Franks son now runs the business. Good people and Great BBQ !“

Lots of colors on the buildings help make the space more inviting. Many of the buildings have super high ceilings with very pretty wood trusses; cool architectural feature.There's a parking lot that runs down the middle, in between the rows of businesses, and another lot on the south side.“

“For foodies looking for Chinese BBQ in South Denver, New Canton BBQ right by the Aurora HMart is the place to go. Very authentic and quite a lot of selections. The portion is large and good value for the price. Besides BBQ and braised dish with rice, they also have congee, wonton and noodles. Here is their triple roast meat rice. They now are close on Wednesdays (used to be Mondays).“
