“y’all, if you’re looking for the highest quality experience in the least assuming place this is IT. after a marathon of a day my partner and i needed some calories and didn’t have the capacity for browsing restaurants and ended up here and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. leslie warmly welcomed our tired souls with good vibes and so kindly helped me with my decision paralysis and directed me to a reviving brisket sandwich and my partner got the carolina and some wings. chris helped us with our decisions, also went out of his way to may us feel warm and fuzzy and built our sandwiches. i was so satisfied i don’t even know what i ordered but it had an onion ring on it and it was literally heaven on a bun. literally if bbq was a religion this is where i would go to worship. if you want quick and absolutely gas food paired with over the top service that makes you feel instantly at home and gets you in and out as quick or slow as you’re hoping you should DEFINITELY hit this spot up. thanks for absolutely making our day we can’t wait to visit again ♥“

“Uncle Henry’s continues to fire on all cylinders, maintaining its place as the best fresh, authentic Szechuan/fresh roasted duck & pork Restaurant in the north suburban area. Every dish we’ve tried for more than a year has been richly flavored, well executed, and served at an ideal temperature. The husband & wife team who run the place are gifted chefs, as well as friendly, helpful, and very hard working, as is the rest of the small staff. This storefront restaurant has now become solidly and regularly very busy, which it well deserves. Try it, and try multiple dishes on and off the menu. These folks are running a top small restaurant, and their success is based on all the right things. Kudos to the Westminster Uncle Henry’s!“

“Wonderfully little mom and pop Cantonese BBQ spot. I prefer this place over takeaway American Chinese food when I'm hungry in a pinch. I like the Char Shu, Roast Pork, Soy Sauce Chicken, and Spicy Tofu. The owners are very nice, work hard, and serve great food.“

“I have been eating here about once a month since they opened this location at Huron and 144th. I usually order a smoked turkey sandwich that comes with one side. The number of sides they offer is amazing and I usually order the smashed loaded potatoes. The potatoes are topped with cheese sauce, sour cream and brisket. It's a must try! Ever since I discovered they have grilled smash burgers I have been ordering that. Splurge and order a double. The beef combination is amazing. I always order a smoked chocolate chip cookie that is smokey, sweet and salty. WOW! They have many desserts, and shakes that you can add alcohol if you like. You order and go through the line and pay at the end. If you eat there they bring it to your table and if it's to go they put everything in a sack for you to take. Everything I've eaten there is delicious.“

We recently stopped into Elevated Q for lunch without knowing much about it, and I must say, it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Discovering that it is a locally owned BBQ smokehouse made the experience even better.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the new General Manager, Chris, whose friendliness and hospitality immediately stood out. His welcoming demeanor set the tone for the entire visit. The restaurant itself features a well-executed industrial rustic design, creating a comfortable yet stylish atmosphere. The bar seating is especially inviting, with a great view of the TVs, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the game.

Chris also proved to be highly knowledgeable behind the bar. He crafted a whiskey drink that was exceptional—so much so that, had it not been lunchtime, we likely would have stayed much longer to try more of his recommendations.

For food, we were introduced to a “secret menu” item: garlic butter buffalo wings. These were outstanding and, in my opinion, deserving of a permanent spot on the menu. The loaded BBQ fries were another highlight—rich, flavorful, and truly satisfying.

I ordered the Pitmaster Platter, featuring pulled pork and jalapeño cheddar sausage. Both meats were well-prepared and enjoyable, though the pulled pork could benefit from a bit more seasoning. The spicy BBQ sauce, however, added a great kick and complemented the dish nicely. My wife chose the loaded baked potato, which was generously portioned and topped with brisket that was incredibly tender—practically melting with each bite.

Overall, Elevated Q clearly knows what it’s doing when it comes to both food and hospitality. As a lighthearted note, Chris did make one “mistake”—he didn’t have the Masters on the big screen—but we’ll let that slide.

We look forward to returning soon. And while we didn’t manage to take photos this time (the food was too good to wait), that just gives us another reason to come back.“

“I was born and raised in KCMO, where BBQ is taken seriously. We have made it our mission to find the best BBQ in the Thornton/Denver area. We've gone to a lot of places, but lo and behold, the best BBQ came to us when we discovered this little gem of a food truck parked up the street from us. Everything we have had here has been top notch. The meats are infused with a wonderful smokey flavor, and seasoned/sauced perfectly. The beans are some of the best I have had. Mario is one of the nicest, friendliest people you could ever want to meet. If you're looking for some exceptional BBQ I highly recommend this truck.“

“Staff is great, Atmosphere was relaxed. My first time there so I can only comment on the food I ate. I have not had such tender ribs in a very long time and the sauce im curious if they sell it because it was great tasting. I ordered the pull pork and boy was it tender, the beans were great with lots meat in them, and my goodness the onion rings were better than my homemade ones lol, nice and crispy full of flavor. I believe I just found my new BBQ spot. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other food I haven't tasted. I definitely recommend. Hoping they sell their BBQ sauce.“

It’s actually been a little while since I’ve been over there, but a new coworker who has recently moved to Denver and lives in Highlands, asked me about restaurants and I recommended you. He loves it! Recently I swung by to take the Post up on the fantastic coupon offer for a free pulled pork sandwich. It is quite a distance from where I live (Aurora), but definitely worth the drive. “Maggie was very nice the 2 girls offered me a water without me even asking. I wasn't going to ask but I needed one. Then the brother snadwich came out looking like it was in an advertisement. I got the half bird with green beans they have bacon very yummy, I liked the bird parts very juicy but the hubby ate the rest he said the breast part wasn't as juicy. Maybe next time I try sandwich. Sometimes the employees walk around and give samples that was great. Definitely would like to go back again sometime. The employees were also very pleasant. “This is the spot where me and the guys would go to after work and grab a few cold beers and enjoy some great food and even greater service. The girls here are phenomenal and very friendly, it reminds me of a bar back home unfortunately they didn't have my t shirt size or hoodie size but they do sell those if your interested. If your looking for great food great atmosphere and great women this is your place. Plus they have pool tables and karaoke on Thursdays. These photos I took were from the outside patio they have.“

“This hot pot restaurant was amazing! The vegetables were incredibly fresh and there was a great variety to choose from. They also offered plenty of fish, shrimp, and other ingredients.

The staff were very friendly, and the food was served promptly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better.

I really liked that everyone gets their own individual hot pot. There were many different soup base options available, and most of them had a slightly sweet flavor profile.

I highly recommend this place. As someone traveling, I was especially grateful to enjoy so many fresh vegetables, fish, and shrimp. It was a refreshing and satisfying meal during my trip. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! 🙏“
