“My boyfriend and I came here because we had a Groupon for a flight, cocktail, and distillery tour. It was awesome! The tour guide, Andy (I think that was his name) was very personable and down to earth. He had some good jokes/puns. The bartender was sweet and we met the owner briefly. We each chose different liquors for our flights and enjoyed each one plus our cocktails were great. My personal favorite for the flight was the V.I. Rum. After the tour we also got the maple bacon old fashioned which was different but equally delicious. Everything on the menu looked great and while we didn't try any of the food offerings, we will definitely be back. The bar was an intimate setting and the pinball machines were great. We live in Aurora but we can't wait to come back as this place is definitely worth the drive for us!”

Every dish we’ve tried for more than a year has been richly flavored, well executed, and served at an ideal temperature. The husband & wife team who run the place are gifted chefs, as well as friendly, helpful, and very hard working, as is the rest of the small staff. This storefront restaurant has now become solidly and regularly very busy, which it well deserves. Try it, and try multiple dishes on and off the menu. These folks are running a top small restaurant, and their success is based on all the right things. Kudos to the Westminster Uncle Henry’s!”

Then we got the Cracovia dinner for two. Let's just say I could drink up the mushroom sauce for the stuffed cabbage rolls. The restaurant was packed but there was seating in the bar area, so we decided, what the heck(!) and went to the bar. Once seated we were greeted with the friendliest bar staff, Marissa and Tiernan. We wanted a glass of red and Marissa recommended the Porta Vita Italia. It is a delicious bargain and we were so impressed (and now hooked!). Our food was and continues to be great, as now we have become Saturday night regulars! We are Italian and honestly did not think we could get a traditional and tasty meal at a chain. Marissa and Tiernan, thank you for the excellent, friendly customer service and sweetness. You both are classy, sassy and super bad-**sy! We always look forward to our Saturday nights hanging with you both! See you next time, Cheers!”

“We were there for one of those financial seminars. The speaker was hilarious and his product seem to be worthwhile. I ordered their New York strip steak, medium-rare, and it was not up to what I expected from the hideaway. It was rather tough and a bit overcooked. However my date had their salmon, and it was wonderful. The potatoes and vegetables with both dishes were excellent as is the Hideaway norm. I do think that in the future that I will stick to their filet mignon or their salmon.”

Crispy exterior corn tortillas, rich with flavors inside! Tender beef, chicken, savory cheese selections. Truly Baja style tacos!!! The churros were stellar. Homemade vanilla enhanced batter, perfectly fried… premium cinnamon and sugar lightly dusted outside, served with warm carmel and chocolate sauces. This place is the most hidden, beautiful gem in the North Thornton/ Westminster/Northglenn area. Gorgeous Interior and seating areas. Very upscale feeling. Perfect meal.”

“On vacation and thought this would be a good choice for a late lunch. Turns out it was a great choice. Met with the owner who explained all of the extensive choices and toppings. We chose ahi tuna, spicy tuna and octopus on top of brown rice and a variety of toppings, including Island fin fire sauce with pineapple and habanero, Kimchi, seaweed and wasabi peas with wasabi finishing sauce. Everything is fresh daily according to the owner (the avocado was cut open in front of us). Simply delicious!”

We also made homemade pizzas last week, the sauce, the cheese, the dough..., everything was amazing! The salad was on point, and I also got my friend who had a baby recently, her family, the frozen lasagna, her husband told me today that it was the best lasagna he’s ever had! So happy and blessed with this place, it truly takes so much off of my plate as a mom and a daughter who loves to feed my family and my elder dad healthy food, that’s actually gooood!!!”

“I have been a patron of PCL for nearly a decade; this place has always been a second home for my friends and me. The bartending staff is amazing; they treat me with respect, kindness, and good service.

I am completely appalled by management these days. The card issue has been resolved, and I’m grateful to Dan (the owner) for sitting down and taking my concern seriously. He found a solution to the double charge, so that is no longer a concern. So feel free to come back and know that it’s done. That being said, I am in support of PCL. Please close your tab and tip your amazing bartenders and staff for their hard work before leaving.

I appreciate that Dan listened to and acknowledged my concerns. I’m still waiting to see whether management will address these concerns and whether things will change. I hope there will be training and changes in how things are handled, both with staff and in how customers are treated. Only time will tell if things change. I mostly hope staff will have time to express their thoughts with understanding, safety, and compassion. I hope for this so the community and bar I love will grow and create a safe space for customers and staff again.

Again, the staff is amazing! So this is a great bar with amazing staff. So, like me, I hope you will give the staff, management, and Dan time to resolve these issues. It is an amazing place that I will continue to patronize. I’m proud to be a regular at this amazing place. Change and struggle are inevitable anywhere. I feel hope for the future of this place I love. Only time will tell whether the change will last, but I hope we can all grow together.”

Evan was our server and he was extremely attentive and cared about making sure our experience was perfect. The manager and owner checked in with us many times to make sure we were having an enjoyable time. Food menu was superb. We all loved the selection with something for everyone at our table. A few within our party were vegetarians and we were able to enjoy some of their selections. The roasted Brussel sprouts were delicious. Bruschetta was fantastic and they offered some great pasta options. We were in town for a youth wrestling tournament and were staying next-door at the hotel. We called them and asked if there was a possibility and they said sure come on down. We will have you set up in our banquet room. Arrived at 8:30 and had us all out of there by 10. Nobody waited for food or drinks and the food and staff were all amazing.!! “We were driving through the area and needed a late cup of coffee. When we rolled in here, we immediately felt comfortable. The interior is relaxing and vibrant. The coffee was fabulous and we indulged in a small slice of cheesecake which was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend coming to check this out!”

I had the funguy Pizza, which is a Mushroom Pizza. It was absolutely amazing. I ordered mine without arugula , as I do not perfer that. It was so good that I ordered a full size to take home for dinner. Our server was Jordan and she was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside I have to say is that their drinks were just okay. We had a Italian spritzer that was kind of tart, and then I ordered a Vodka martini, which they said they do not commonly make, and I could tell why... I sent it back and ended up getting a glass of red wine but the pinot noir was mediocre at best. I think management should up their Wine selection and quality, if they're going to pair with Italian dishes. I would definitely go back and order more Pizza and the meatballs look amazing as well.”

I was very skeptical about trying this place, my favorite place closed a few months ago and every place I’ve tried since has been a huge disappointment, first thing I noticed was how clean everything is when you walk in, & the staff of very friendly didn’t feel rushed like other places I’ve been, when I got my total I was like wow that’s a lot for Chinese food, but got home and saw the portion sizes were very good, they’re very generous with the chicken & the shrimp are big. everything tastes absolutely delicious and I’m 100% satisfied with it and will gladly pay for it again and again!
