The 3 of us got the middle priced "sample" platter....I don't know what any of it was but boy was it good!It had some lentil stuff...goat, chicken....and other things! “I think Denver does Ethiopian food pretty well, and it’s always fun trying new restaurants. Mama Africa Cafe was no different. This is a true gem in Denver and I’m so grateful they opened up because I’ve been hoping for a new Ethiopian restaurant that I haven’t tried. We had the veggie combo with lamb tibs and it was unbelievably delicious. The honey wine was not too sweet so it’s worth a try, and their Ethiopian lager was delicious too. We cannot wait to go back and eat here again!“
“We've been looking for our Ethipoian place ever since Axum closed. Some places we walked in and immediately right back out, because of SMOKE. There was ONE man smoking a Clove cigarette when we walked into Meso, and we smelled that lingering odor for most of our meal. For God's sake, step outside! It's a restaurant, and your lazy convenience may keep us from coming back.“

“A friend and I decided to dine at this Cafe to enhance our ethnic Cuisine experience. I ordered the 1/2 & 1/2 accompanied with their fresh bread & fresh mango juice.My choice did not disappoint. The food was served hot, very tasty! I did order a 2nd 1/2 & 1/2 to go!! Yummy ?, my 1st experience eating Sudanese Cuisine.I would recommend this Cafe to anyone who is looking to enhance their taste palate.“

“First time having Ethiopian and it was amazing! I could probably eat 20 of their sambusas and the lamb in my dish was so tender. My husband is a spice fiend and he said his dish was the perfect balance of spiciness and flavor. My kids were unimpressed with the offerings but that's on us to broaden their culinary horizons better. Anyway. Staff was very kind to us, I was out of my element so their hospitality was much appreciated. Food was filling and so tasty and I definitely see us returning in the future. Thanks!!“
“I have moved to Denver for almost a year and have been disappointed by every local restaurant - Chinese food, Indian food, Korean food, pizza, BBQ, etc - all of them are plain, lack of authenticity and over priced at the same time! This place gave me a new hope in Denver’s restaurants. A well served simple mixture of chicken, rice, cilantro, and raisins brought my taste buds to another continent, reminds me the Ethiopian food I had in Manhattan. The moment I started eating it I felt like it’s so good that I didn’t want to stop, and that’s the reason my attached picture shows the box is more than half empty lol. Definitely will recommend this place to everyone I know in Denver(not many though lol, so hope this review will let more people try this place“
“The food was literally perfect - delicious. The owner helped us learn to eat with our fingers. The service was fast, but not rushed. Everything was made from scratch - no preservatives and never frozen. We will definitely be back & bring friends!“
“Absolutely delicious and authentic Ethiopian food with great customer service! After a lackluster experience at another Ethiopian restaurant, I was very impressed with the food at langano! We had the lamb tibs with some sambosas as a side, and it was some of the best Ethiopian food I have had. Enough for two to three people, and came out around 10 minutes after ordering, quite quick for Ethiopian cuisine! Very excited to return soon and try the veggie combo next time!“
“We love the Shero here, it's a chickpea based sauce served on Ingera flat bread with a green pepper if you're feeling spicy. It's served hot in a bowl so you have to let it cool for a little bit before munching it down. The service is great because they will make it to how you like. We like it with no salt. A comfortable place to have dinner with friends and family.Vegetarian options: The Chickpea based sauce is called Shero is a great vegetarian option. The Ingera is a Teff flour based bread.Dietary restrictions: Tell them if you have other restrictions and they will accommodate.Parking: Plenty of parking lot out front and it is very well lit at night.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible with a wheelchair. Plenty of space and parking.“

“Konjo has amazing, healthy Ethiopian food that is served up very quickly. I crave it weekly and it's consistently delicious. Their vegetarian /vegan options are the best, and the misir wot is perfectly spiced. Portions are large & we always order extra for leftovers. They give good amounts of injera as well. So glad they are in Edgewater Public Market.“
“We just went to this place on 2-12-23 for the first time. We were happily delighted; authentic seasoned lentils, greens and potatoes. The Awaze and Mogne Tibs were very good. The staff was friendly and welcomed us with smiles. My only wish is that they carried more options for proteins such as chicken and lamb. “We went with a group most of whom had never (myself included) eaten Ethiopian food. The restaurant is run by one woman. She is cook, server and host. We decided to order a vegetarian and a meat combo. As a group of eight we were barely able to finish the food. It was excellent food and an adventure to eat it. Not knowing exactly what each dish was didn't detract from how good the food was. We felt welcomed and looked after, even after we stayed beyond closing time. Overall this was a great experience and I'd highly recommend trying this restaurant.“
