Was a great idea for a birthday dinner everyone loved the range of vegetarian dishes and the bread was delicious and very light to digest . Highly recommend giving this place a go if you like myself haven’t eaten Ethiopian regularly . A great time to try new food and support the local community kitchens that make Sydney road a special place to be in :)“

“Got the ful traditional breakfast, it is so good!! Very flavorful, a bit spicy but that’s the way I like it. Very nice customer service, good space and lots of seating. Pretty easy to find, it’s the first door to the right when you walk into the building. Great coffee too, the food is made to order and you can definitely taste it :)“

The owner/chef/server (I’m unfortunately blanking on her name) completely made the night. She was warm, hilarious, and incredibly welcoming, somehow running the entire restaurant while still joking with us and making every table feel taken care of. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that energy carries through the whole experience.

“The food is very good; several items are very spicy. I appreciate the menu structure that allows you to build your own veg sampler with as many items as you want. The fosolia green beans are easily the best dish. The atkilt wok was very flavorful and the yemisir wot was good and a little peppery. The whole lentils were ok, slightly bland but a good texture. We didn't enjoy the kik alicha or gomen, and the tibes wot was dry. Salad is very spicy (garlic and jalapeno). Service was friendly and attentive.“
