“Cafe Mera is truly a hidden gem. Coming from Miami coffee culture, I can say the coffee here was rich, smooth, and absolutely delightful. The food was just as impressive. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich, and both were so flavorful and delicious that we left with no leftovers.

The prices are very reasonable, the service was 5-star, and the whole experience felt warm and welcoming from start to finish. It was such a pleasure meeting Yeshi and being able to try the food she made from scratch. You can really taste the care and quality in everything.

They don’t add a bunch of stuff to them so they are lower in calories than most smoothies. We also ordered some protein cookies which were good. The owners were very nice and friendly.“

“I stopped by L Cafe, it was my first time trying Armenian food and I am blown away. I ordered the Steak Lavash Wrap and it was absolutely amazing. I learned that lavash is an Armentian flat bread and the flavor of the sauce blew my mind. It was made to order, super fresh, and well cooked. The cafe was very nice inside and spotless, the people were super friendly, overall a great place. I am glad I stopped by and would highly recommend trying it. I will be going back anytime I am in the neighborhood.“

“We had the huevos rancheros and the corned beef and hash. Both were delicious. I also ordered a zucchini/pistachio pancake that was fluffy and light. The butter was freshly churned with cinnamon . I will be dreaming about that pancake for awhile. I also got a hazelnut latte and it was the perfect mix of coffee and nutty without being overly sweet.“

The food is great but up until today, I always have to ask for water...twice...and then for a straw....twice. today Brittany was my waitress and I was given water and a straw and she was friendly and warm and well....I just wanted to commend her as well as this super place that is my go to for my private spot for my quiet breakfast time.“

When I realized this - Carrie the supervisor took over and called to cancel my order at the other location - got my refund - and offered me a coffee while I waited for my order. 5-⭐ for a hospital cafeteria in my book and I do have some basis for comparison to other hospital cafeterias.

Had the chance of dining there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and anything in-between for a few days.

First, choices, choices, choices!
You get different choices for every meal, from hot dishes, cold salads, soups, and ready to heat pre-prepared meals, etc.
And, a daily set for lunch and dinner.
Surprisingly, my favorite of all the food I had there was the Tonkatsu Ramen. The Beef Brisket meal set was also 👍.
The UCH Burger was also better than or as good as burgers from some chains.
There's also Dazbog Coffee inside aside from the self-serve Coffee.
Drinks? They have a lot(!!!!), you can choose from nearly over 50 varieties of drinks from sodas, juices, energy drinks, water, iced coffee, etc..
The dining area is spartan, but, kept clean for fast dining turnovers.
Of course, I learnt very early on, the best time to dine and avoid the hospital staff break hours.

The best is that the cafeteria is open until 1am and I truly appreciated that after a 3-wk stay at another hospital whose cafeteria closed around 6/7 pm and I was at the mercy of a fast food sub outlet for food after 7pm.

“Ah, Panera Potato Soup on a VERY COLD lunch break helps to calm the savage beast within.
The atmosphere is busy with dine-in, and take out; lots of seats, booths.

The wait for our order of two bowls soup, chicken sandwich, with a delicious pickle I might add and bread was well within reason.

The staff were busy and prepared to handle en masse orders with confidence and order — namaste.“

“I ordered food for my daughter's birthday through the Panera app to be delivered to her school for lunch. Door Dash notified me that the order was delivered, but it wasn't. When I called Panera to sort it out, the manager was so kind and compassionate. She had my order remade, threw in a complimentary cookie and brownie, and had one of her catering drivers deliver it within 10 minutes. The service and kindness was above and beyond and deeply appreciated! Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday extra special!“
