“Ok so everything was good but the side salad alone was worth this review of 5 stars. Ordered the gyro plate which was flavorful and nicely decorated but the salad blew me away considering this is a Mediterranean joint… Instead of plain iceberg lettuce, a couple toms and cucs, this side salad had SPINACH, mixed greens, a HANDFUL of blueberries, strawberries, and a lovely creamy sweet mayo-based dressing. Was such a nice touch to the overall flavor experience. Would do again“
“This might be my first food review ever... but I had such a dope experience. First of all, they were open late on a Sunday! I was in town for a show, got out super hungry and after googling, I saw they were open and near by. The food is bangin, super flavorful, and the staff was so nice and hospitable. Even though it late, they were very attentive, accommodating, and I never felt rushed or like my presence was an inconvenience. I definitely hope to eventually taste my way through the menu. I had a modified shawarma and it was so delicious!“
“My fiancé and I went to Rioja last night for our anniversary. We made note on our res that we were there to celebrate and the servers were the best! They sent over an unexpected celebratory glass of champagne for the both of us. The service was 10/10, they had wonderful recommendations, kept the table clean from crumbs and dishes etc. Let's start with the drinks- I had the Pisco cocktail which was fun, it's on the sweeter side, if you like a sweet cocktail with mint and grapefruit, this is the drink for you. My partner got the Mediterranean olive oil cocktail - so fun and the presentation was beautiful. The food was unique and inspired. We ordered the set tasting menu, we loved everything we tried. Highly recommend the artichoke tortellini and the venison was cooked to perfection. The restaurant felt high end but not stuffy. Thank you for an awesome date night!!“
“Christy was an amazing server! She was funny, hospitable and made delicious recommendations (have the lobster shooters everyone!) She was attentive and gracious even after we had eaten and stayed way too long to chat after we had eaten. Highly recommend Ambli DTC for the food but we will frequent because of Christy!“
“Walked in and ordered some take out last night and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was very welcoming and after we ordered, the lady offered us a cup of their lentil soup while we waited and it was absolutely delicious! She even packed us up an extra cup to take with us. Got home and the food was beyond our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!“
“We arrived for a 5:00 dinnerSelected the 'FEED ME' chef's choice menu with wine pairingFirst course paired with a white pinotLittle gem salad, good vinaigrette if a little salty, but it was a good salad.Plum beet jam with toasted bread. The bread was good, well made and tender, too much toasted, charred flavor a little overpowering with the earthiness of the beets. Plums bloomed with the wine which was niceSecond course paired with a trollingerBroccoli with an almond creme sauce, came out warm. Very mild flavors, but not delicateCitrus salad with oranges, grapefruits, fennel and pistachio. Was well put together and the way the flavors layered was pleasant.Third course, paired with an East coast zinfandelCabbage miso hummus was warm but a little salty, hearty tho' good mouth feel, and cabbage was cooked but not mushyBy this time we were pretty full, we put it in a Togo, that we brought with us.Pesto style arugula, beans and breadcrumbs and rigati hearty and delicious. The other dish really paled in comparison to this oneFor dessert they brought us a single slice of apple cake. Good cream (non-dairy, with almond milk), meh cake, buuuut.... Get it with the coffee and it's much better.Paired with a sweet vermouth drink, chocolate bitters, very excellent.Though we wanted the Panna cotta and tiramisu. We ended up ordering them anyway. Vegan, both of them. The Panna cotta is like a coconut yogurt with tart strawberry rhubarb topping, recommended the tiramisu instead.A good way to describe this restaurant is fresh and wholesome, hearty, and satisfying.“
“It had gotten late and we were so hungry. We selected this restaurant because they appeared to be open until 10 PM. When we said we wanted to dine in, we were told they were closing at 9:30. That still gave us ample time to eat. This place is along a row of international restaurants. Inside, it's not huge, but it's cozy and clean. The Gyros plate was large and came with a salad. The presentation was beautiful. The ingredients were obviously fresh, and the meal was delicious.“
“Came with a large group and we were all well fed and taken care of. Delicious food and friendly service.Vegetarian options: Falafel wrap, grape leaves, sambosas, lentil soupDietary restrictions: Had vegetarian and gluten free diets in our group and everyone had multiple options to eat and enjoy.“
“4.5 stars Food was fire. I think I just got the regular gyro combo + tzatziki. The fries were even better - light, crisp, and right amount of pepper. Only complaint is that they dumped a bunch of ketchup packets into the bag. But I just ate inside, so it was a huge pain to use them.“
“I was surprised with dinner for my Birthday, and you did not disappoint! Not only was everything we tried ( I'm seriously going to dream about the harissa eggplant fries) but the attention to detail and the fresh flavors were out of this world! Additionally, special attention was paid to our food allergies and It was a huge weight off our shoulders to not have to worry about that! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it! We had the harissa eggplant fries, the pork cheeks, the Lebanese garlic dip, the spanakopita, the carne paella, and kept everything off with the chocolate torte! phenomenal food and staff!“
“Allhumdulliuh Amazing Food ! As a an Arab and as a Muslim I want to say Thank-you The food is Halal and clean. It’s just a well rounded family restaurant. As a Saudi I love the Lamb Kabsah! Authentic Saj bread and good shawarma ! Fresh toum and loving people. My only problem is why is there only one restaurant? Stay in Denver and spread ! People will come no matter where, your food is Authentic and stays true to us Arabs !Thank-you again. ❤️إن شاء الله تتضاعف ثروتك وصحتك“
“Super good!! We were driving through from Nebraska and I looked for an hour before we arrived to Denver on where we should get our lunch. This place had great reviews and the food looked great, I’m so glad I landed on here to eat. My husband got the original gyro and I got the chicken gyro. Honestly I haven’t even liked any gyros I’ve tried before but this one sounded great with the lemon and oregano and it was fabulous. They were super generous with the meat it was over flowing. The veggies were fresh, onions crisp, the sauce was great as well! I wish we had one back home I would go often! Staff was friendly as well!“
“Came here for lunch and had a great experience! I got the eggplant parm with spaghetti, I saw online that it came with red pepper flakes and I’m a wimp that can’t do spicy foods, so I asked and they said they could leave it off, it was absolutely delicious! Brought the ricotta cookies home to my family and they were a huge hit! Would definitely come back to try more of their menu. Really great option for casual but good quality Italian.“
“Saturday night takeout sharing the Meat lovers platter with a side of stuffed grape leaves. The kabobs were beautifully done, and not overdone. We’ve been to Turkey before and this place is legit- right down to the silky hummus and quiet pickled veggies scattered throughout the yellow rice.“
“Fresh and tasty falafel in a pita. Try it with amba sauce! The dining room is open for business.Vegetarian options: Vegan options include falafel sandwiches, fries, pita nachos, etc. Sabich could be vegan if omitting the boiled egg. No dairy on premises.Dietary restrictions: Mordy's is strictly kosher, under the supervision of the Scroll-K.“
“My husband and I ate here for the first time — it was a drizzly day with reports that Denver was going to get a big snow so the restaurant was open. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and my husband had the gyro plate. It came with a small salad, lots of rice and a large portion of chicken (or gyros) and 2 pieces of pita bread. Everything was tasty and delicious, made especially for us. It also came with a green hot sauce that is made in house that was really good! We will come back again soon! It’s located near 5 points, and the restaurant itself is divey, but don’t let that dissuade you from trying it!“
“This place is 100x times better than Cava across the street. I don’t want to pay $20 for a bowl of various goops. I want to have real chicken, real fresh veggies and real hummus and baba ganoush. The staff is always so patient and kind, the woman who runs it is such a genuinely good human and always serves us and takes care of us with a smile on her face. I love Falafel King!“
“Service was good, attentive without being hovering. It felt like they might have been a tiny bit short staffed but we generally weren't waiting around and staff was friendly and explained dishes.Main courses were very good, decently spiced and plenty generous (we each had one of the combo entrees). Pita was hot and fresh.I got some baklava for dessert and it was surprisingly disappointing. I have made my own baklava (and it is not easy) and I've had it from many other places but this was dead last on any of them. For a Lebanese place I expected great baklava and this was an unfortunate negative surprise. So overall 4 stars.“
“One can not praise this magical establishment enough unless sipping on it's lovingly crafted elixirs or omnivorously serving menu (also crafted lovingly) in person. The ambiances, true to it's name, inspire memories of rich Arabian orient influenced decor with a healthy international dose of tastefully placed relics and echoes of world communing elements which lean towards the sacred wonder in all of us.Paired with a proprietorship which delivers the kind of service one wishes exists everywhere, the Gypsy House Cafe twin sisters and their doting staff are sure to stir emotions and feelings of home and belonging rare to find. The legacy of this magnificent casbah is also deeply entrenched in providing a space for local and visiting artists of every discipline to find a place for expression which transcends the ordinary into a place where glorious discoveries abound for those willing to engage more senses and explore the public eye, ear and heart.A "together" place where the richness of life and esoteric practices like tarot and reading fortune come to uncover that which we already know: that we are all travelling wanderers seeking to share something with one another for at least a moment of blissful illumination.“
“We came to eat on the spur of the moment and are very happy we chose Shondiz. There was a party of 30 right before us but the staff quickly helped us and our meals were not delayed. I recommend the Koobideh kabob and yogurt. The rice was delicious with saffron. Also, the chicken kabob was very tender. Staff was great too!“
“I only had lunch there once, so far, but both wraps were extremely well done. I was in a hurry and just ordered the chicken shwarma and a gyro. Basic I know, but they were both executed perfectly. The sauces were home made and excellent. Do not be fooled by the strip mall location. These people know Mediterranean/Moroccan food. I cannot wait to go back.“
“Really satisfying and flavorful food here. The portions are generous, too! I tried the yogurt drink and it was great, so was the hummus, and the dolma. I would be glad to eat here again. Heads up: it got busy during weekday lunch time as the nearby office employees filled in.“
“My kids and I love this place. Kids friendly, family friendly, amazing food and great hospitality, and amazing service. My kids love this place because they always get treats. We eat here almost every week. Also the price is great for the quality of the food. Allahuma Barak!“
“Food is great and the value is fantastic, atmosphere is perfect, the staff is awesome and knows what’s up. I couldn’t recommend it more highly for a date night, spot to meet friends, or just a place to grab a burger and a drink! Patio seating and indoor seating with a solid bar what more can you ask for?“
“Our group went to Ash’Kara to celebrate our friends birthday and we had the best time! We were seated outside on the patio but were kept warm with the heaters. The food was amazing! We shared the feta dip, hummus and the hot cheese one (forget the name) with Pita and Roti which was all delicious and we each ordered our own entrees -Salmon, pasta, lamb - all were phenomenal! And on top of the food, we had the BEST server, Jake. He was attentive, engaging and gave great recommendations on the food. Also provide me with a couple different mocktail options which was lovely. His service was outstanding and above and beyond. We also received a dessert on the house (the Baklava was dynamite!) and when we got champagne to toast our friend’s birthday, he brought me a glass of sprite so I could be included in the toast!Amazing food, amazing service - highly recommend and looking forward to returning!“
“Comfortable neighborhood restaurant in a trendy area. No frills. Just good food. And, good sized portions. We shared a salad that was big enough for three people. There were lots of fresh veggies and delicious dressing. My friend had the chicken shawarma which was served on a bed of really good hummus with a tasty pita. I thought my gyro plate was good, just a little too salty. It was also on a bed of that tasty hummus. I like that approach to the gyro. There were also red onions on the top...they were a little skimpy on the onions and could have given more. The pita were delicious! They were warm and just the right texture. I ordered extra to go with the gyro plate. The drinks were inconsistent. My first bourbon sour was pretty mediocre. And it was served in what looked like a wine glass. It was garnished with a lemon. That was odd. The second one was a little better and it was garnished with the orange and dark cherry. It was also in the right glass. The service was fine. They were nice about moving us and another couple because there was a large, noisy family in our section. They moved both of us into a quieter area in the front of the restaurant. I'd return if I were in Denver. It's worth a second trip.“
“We drove almost 25 mins to have food here at this restaurant and were not disappointed at all by the fast service & food here. It was a seamless process of ordering through a kiosk and the food comes very quickly. The owner keeps interacting with the customers and keeps offering free food to the people who visit the restaurant. We ordered falafel sandwich, falafel rice bowl and falafel burrito and the owner happily made us try the lentil soup which was so soothing to the stomach as we were really hungry. The portion size were great and the food was too delicious. Will definitely recommend if anyone is visiting in the town.“
“I love Mediterranean food and this did not disappoint! This was one of thee best meals I’ve had in a long time in terms of seafood. This was so fresh, flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection *insert a big chefs kiss*!….This whole plate was a 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The food is here is an explosion of flavor in your mouth it’s amazing! My friend and I are from out of town and we were looking around for someplace good to eat and not only did it not disappoint it surpassed expectations! ❤️❤️❤️ If I lived here I would go broke eating there all the time!“
“Curiosity had be going back through any of the negative reviews Sonny's has received and I disagree wholeheartedly with every single one lol. This place is completely dialed and every visit results in remarks like "damn, can't wait til next time!" Excellent fast-casual food, and wonderful service! Thanks guys - keep crushing!“
“Went there last night for dinner. It's a nice cozy place. Nothing fancy. But the service more than made up for it. They were AMAZING! The food was really good too. We ordered a chicken shawarma plate, a meat combo, and an appetizer sampler. It was simple and delicious. The appetizer sampler was the star of the show. The only thing I wouldn't order is the beef kebab. It was extremely hard to chew and super dry. But like I mentioned before. The service more than made up for it! Definitely going back!@@“
“So glad this place doesn't close early like many other places! First time here and definitely won't be the last! The food and service is superb! Overall, I'm extremely impressed! The restaurant is very clean, and even the bathroom is clean and fancy! Nice high quality, clean, and fancy dishes, cups, and silverware ? The waitress even offered some complimentary Turkish coffee, which was very nice! The Gyro Meat and Kafta kabob was exquisitely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Generous portion sizes. The hummus and falafel is excellent as well. A+++ can't wait to come back.“
“These are the kinds of gems that Denver mostly lacks but other big cities have.Amazing food, great prices, friendly staff. I’ll be eating here every time I pass through; it’s just off the highway.Gosh dang this gyro plate is so good with the sauces. Spicy isn’t too spicy either just go for it and you won’t regret <3“
“Came in for a late night dinner as this place is open until 1am. The food was made fresh to order and it was delicious. Service was very friendly, but the ambiance was lacking. It's definitely a bit run down, but the food wins so I'm giving them 4 stars.“
“Another good place to add the my favorite listThe owner is verry friendly and welcoming bringing his generous Greeck culture to the placeThe food is verry delicious and verry clean place if you chek My google reviews I'm all about medeteranian this place deserve the best thanks will be back soon“
“The food is here is an explosion of flavor in your mouth it’s amazing! My friend and I are from out of town and we were looking around for someplace good to eat and not only did it not disappoint it surpassed expectations! ❤️❤️❤️ If I lived here I would go broke eating there all the time!“
“My fiance and I have been coming to Byblos for years (since 2019) and the food has always been consistently great and a good deal! Obsessed with their Tzatziki sauce— can’t go wrong with any of the dips really. The service is always kind and fast too. Big fans and a shoutout to manager Pav who is the best !! :) ?“
“We needed somewhere to eat lunch after a trip to Costco business. We had heard good things about this restaurant form friends so we wanted to try it out. There are tables to sit and be served, or you can order takeout. We sat inside the restaurant. They have authentic/themed music playing. We ordered the gyros plate combo and the chicken shawarma sandwich. The gyros plate combo is a huge portion! you get rice and hummus and pita and gyros. It was all very good. But the Chicken Shawarma is the best. Just the sandwich is a huge portion. Ask for feta cheese on the pita tough because it does not come with it and it adds so much! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce (Tahini?) on the pita was a perfect amount and a perfect taste. I even added some of the hummus (so good) from the gyros plate and added it to my shawarma and it was even better! Highly recommended for amazing Mediterranean food“
“We love Kini's! The food was so delicious and we felt full but not over-stuffed with our meal. Our server was great, and surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't full at all. It's usually packed and can be noisy. But last night was quiet. Food came out quickly and was just so yummy! We'll be back!“
“All of the food we had was delicious. I had the chicken Schwarma plate. My wife had the fatouche salad and my aunt had a falafel wrap. Not only that but the lady working the register was sweet and kind.A little pricey but really yummy. Generally the portions are big enough for two meals.“
“It is expensive but it tasted fresh. I took the other reviews advice and had chicken which was tasty. The chicken bowl with a pita cost me $17. It tasted fresh and I liked the flavors to it. It is similar to Qdoba where you have a base and then you order as you move down. You only need to say what base at first. By the time I got through the line there were 20 people behind me ready for some yummy food.“
“We attended the breakfast with Santa event and it was AMAZING!!! The staff was so joyful and friendly! The food was delicious! The Santa experience was unique, private and memorable! The cookie decorating was mind blowing! They had delicious cookies, all the toppings you could imagine and helpful staff! The book reading was magical! The set up was comfy and festive and the reader was hands down the best I have seen! Me and my kids cannot stop talking about this day! It was truly the most amazing way to kick off Christmas!!!!“
“Absolutely delicious Mediterranean flavors! Whipped feta andmushroom hummus served with wood fired pita bread. The lamb kabobs were great, but I noticed a 1/2 chicken platter that another diner had, so I will be going back for that. Also, excellent cocktails!“
