“If you're in Denver or visiting to Denver, and craving authentic Turkish food, Pizza Pide is the place to go. The lahmacun has that perfectly crispy, thin crust just like back in Turkey, and the pide is equally authentic in flavor. Hands down the best spot in Denver for both.
They also make künefe, the simit is excellent, and the chef puts out a large Ottoman-style pizza that's reminiscent of a classic margherita — really delicious.
One thing to keep in mind: everything here is made from scratch, not prepped from store-bought ingredients. So yes, there's a wait — but it is absolutely worth it. You're getting real, homemade food cooked with care, and you can taste the difference.“

“Great location, comfortable but classy atmosphere, and a very tasty menu. We had an event that came in very last minute and the café was super accommodating. I had the chance to meet the owners and they were incredibly warm and friendly. The matcha and coffee were very good. I'm definitely looking forward to going back.“

“We went to Shondiz last night for dinner and it was excellent. We were served barley soup (ashe joh) when we first got there and it was the best I ever had. I ordered mast-o-mousir to start and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered zereskh polo with chicken and I had the juheh kebab. Both meals were great. The owner Mohammed came out to talk to us and he was really friendly. We will definitely be back!“
“Hands down this is the best in Colorado and maybe the country and I’ve been to so many!What a hidden gym! Love at first sip on the yogurt drink which is not like other places where they thin it out with water; it’s so full of flavor and has the right balance of sourness and saltiness. Love at first bite with the kofta beef and chicken which just melt in your mouth! The baba ganoush is made in heaven with its creaminess! The rice has so much flavor as well. “Holy bananas - soooo I moved to Denver after 12 years in Chicago so I’ve been spoiled with good food for a long time. That being said, Denver has disappointed me in terms of killer cuisine no matter how cheap or how expensive - I’ve had a mid experience everywhere no matter the neighborhood.
First time today at Sonny’s and WOW. Huge falafel sammie, smokey baba ghanoush, so many freaking amazing sauces!
10/10 will be returning“

“I just want to give a heartfelt thank you to Beyoncé for making my bowl absolutely perfect. I called the store before placing my UberEats order to check on topping availability, and she was so kind and helpful. I also mentioned that my order had been messed up in the past, and she assured me she’d keep an eye out for it.
Not only did she follow through, but she made my bowl flawlessly and even included a thoughtful note apologizing for the previous experience. That level of care truly makes a lasting impression. It’s people like her who turn a simple order into something memorable.

“A friend who frequently travels to Denver raved about this restaurant, so I was eager to experience it for myself. Upon arrival for brunch, My other friend and I received a warm welcome and prompt seating. Our waitress Erika and her assistant were exceptionally kind and attentive. The food was a true culinary delight . I can’t recommend Rioja enough!“
