“We stopped by a couple days ago and tried the cod as well as the clam chowder and chips! We were helped by Madison, and her service was top of the line! She was patient and very positive about the food but it was the way you could tell she really cared about the shop and the patrons.I overheard another couple talking to her at the bar and they were telling her that they had a bad experience before and wanted to give it another try. She did a great job acknowledging their previous experience and thanked them for coming back and for giving them another chance!Service industry has changed so much and it was so nice to feel like you were in the presence of someone who genuinely enjoyed where they worked and wanted you to enjoy your food. “We came to Denver for a friend's wedding. Our habit is to eat local. Yorkshire was less than a mile from where we are staying. I enjoy fish & chips greatly. But to be honest my fish is usually fresh water ( Striped Bass, Catfish...) My dad has a breading recipe that was good enough for a local cookbook back in VA. My wife is from the Atlantic shore of VA. She is very opinionated about FRESH seafood. All of that to say...YUMM!! the portions are big, I for one was thrilled with the bed of 'crunchies' the fish came on. The bits of batter/ breading that come off in the fryer. Those are one of my favs. As I type this review I am having leftovers for breakfast. Still good even plain without tarter, vinegar, ketchup, or whatever. In short...I recommend you try.“
