“I planned an 80th birthday party for my husband at GVR Beer Garden with the help of Soleil, the Manager and Josiah, the Regional Manager. I was so impressed and grateful for their "can do" attitude and for how easy they made it to plan the set up, food and drinks options for our nearly 60 guests. On the day of the party, Matt, the Events Manager greeted us and was at hand to support all of our efforts to prepare the space with decorations, balloons and to set up a slide show on their mounted TV. The buffet table was beautifully set; the food was truly awesome, and just kept coming throughout the evening. Matt arranged for our guests to have drink tickets so our Birthday Boy could "buy the first round". Matt stayed nearby and came to check in on me and the party numerous times. His easy-going, friendly and FLEXIBLE demeanor went a long way to helping me "host" and have fun, knowing he had it all under control. Thank you, GVR Beer Garden. Your managers and staff are AWESOME. We all had a wonderful time thanks to them.“

“The pork belly tacos are heaven, but the owner tells me the carnitas are where it’s at. Had a show there tonight and these folks were good to me. Good times.“

“We went for lunch or the first time today and had the amazing lunch. We eachhad the lunch special, which includes a specialty Pizza and a salad of your choice for starting at $14.50. I had the funguy Pizza, which is a Mushroom Pizza. It was absolutely amazing. I ordered mine without arugula , as I do not perfer that. It was so good that I ordered a full size to take home for dinner. Our server was Jordan and she was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside I have to say is that their drinks were just okay. We had a Italian spritzer that was kind of tart, and then I ordered a Vodka martini, which they said they do not commonly make, and I could tell why... I sent it back and ended up getting a glass of red wine but the pinot noir was mediocre at best. I think management should up their Wine selection and quality, if they're going to pair with Italian dishes. I would definitely go back and order more Pizza and the meatballs look amazing as well.“

“We stumbled upon this place with my wife just wanting to have dinner at a rooftop bar before we left Denver. Just our luck there was a Colorado Rockies game going on and vs the Chicago Cubs, so this place was packed, but we were able to get a seat pretty quickly on the roof. Service was really good even with it being packed. The food was great. No complaints we all enjoyed our meals. We ended up noticing that everyone there was a Chicago Cubs fan so we asked the waiter and he said they were the official Chicago Cubs bar of Denver Karma so it's crazy that we were there while the Cubs were in town. Made the atmosphere even more fun. The staff was super nice,matter of fact I had to leave to go get some aspirin for my daughter and the bouncer downstairs gave me great directions to find the 7-Eleven. Good size place they have a pretty large bar area downstairs and naturally the rooftop is pretty often to get a good view of Denver and you can see Coors field. Definitely would come back here especially if the Cubs were playing in town or on tv, probably on TV would be better because once the game started this place cleared out. In the really coolest thing is we ended up meeting the lead guitarist Chantry Johnson of The Cab, how cool is that! This is definitely a good hangout place! Highly recommend.“
