Tatsu Izakaya Reviews
Everything was perfect - yakitori, sashimi, specialty rolls, plus great sake. But it’s the staff that makes this place so special.
We got Spicy Tatsu and Tan Tan Ramen, gyoza, and a California Roll. The Tatsu is exceptional and I guzzled about all of the broth down. Tatsu Izakaya is a charming Japanese restaurant, known for its cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from hearty Katsu Curry and flavorful ramen to fresh sashimi and crispy gyoza. The Tonkatsu ramen is a standout, with perfectly grilled pork, classic noodles, and a huge portion. Vegetarian options, such as sweet potato tempura with added mango and avocado, are also available. The rainbow roll is another favorite, with fresh fish and a sweet flavor. Although the restaurant can get busy, particularly around 5 pm, the staff works diligently to accommodate guests. Lucy is a great server, always happy and kind, helping first-timers with recommendations. While parking may be challenging during peak hours, Tatsu Izakaya is a worthy choice for a relaxing date night or a satisfying meal.
