It has the most delicious Japanese food and most notably, great hospitality. If you're in Denver, this is the place to go for a delicious meal. Please call ahead for reservations. My friends rave about the food here. Don't forget to try the chocolate cake and pineapple flip cake. We will probably go back tonight because we loved it so much. I had the tofu steak and spicy garlic edema beans. Gyoza, paneo oysters, baby back ribs and teriyaki chicken. The sushi rolls were good too!

Izakaya has been a place I've enjoyed for many years, and I've always loved both the food and the service. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit disappointing. My unagi nigiri arrived after we had already eaten many of our other dishes, and, unfortunately, there were a couple of bones in the unagi. This was the first time I've encountered bones in the unagi here or at other sushi restaurants, so it was quite surprising.
