“I already love Sushi Den and when they came out with this new omakase style restaurant it did not disappoint. They way they talk about where they sourced the rice to the detail of what type of vinegar it uses on the rice. The fish just melts in your mouth and the sushi rice just falls apart when it hits your mouth.“

We ordered a variety of items and they were all delicious - Black Dragon, Korean kimchi fried rice, and Tonkatsu ramen. Even the salad was good and had high quality greens instead of plain lettuce. Amazingly attentive service. Even more amazing is that all the kids enjoyed the dinner.“

The aroma of delectable and fresh food was exceptional. We ordered a couple of pho and the broth's flavor was intensely delicious and warming. The fresh vegetables tasted remarkably fresh. The entire venue was nice and neat, and the staff were very friendly, making us feel at home. We will definitely return soon, eager to try their sushi. “My delivery driver got stuck in my elevator for 30 min (Wayne) and he handled it so gracefully. I called the fire dept for him but he was calm and kind the whole time. “We got Spicy Tatsu and Tan Tan Ramen, gyoza, and a California Roll. The Tatsu is exceptional and I guzzled about all of the broth down. It has chasu (pork belly) and chicken, bamboo strips, marinated egg, bok choy, and seaweed. The Tan Tan has a spicy peanut broth with ground chicken. We’ve had the Tonkatsu and Miso on other occasions and I recall liking all of them. The restaurant is pleasant and staff is attentive and kind. They often have sporting events on their three TVs, so we got to watch some World Cup this evening, which was great.“

I have gone to many coastal restaurants that serve sushi and none of them compare to Shiso sushi bar! They also have some nice non-fish items such as the teriyaki chicken bowl, my friend had ordered that before and it was really good! They truly are one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. They take extra precaution for cleanliness, customer service and quality of their food and I appreciate that so much! I often times will order their food to go as well and it always is a hit! Their dining service is nice as well and there is quite a bit of parking which is always a convenient addition to any restaurant. The owner Ken is a great guy and always remembers us and truly appreciates his customer base. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and like I said it’s one of my favorites! It’s also very close to Sloans Lake which is the perfect activity to do before dining in, check them out!“

“I always stop by here for a poke bowl coming home from the airport. And every time the poke bowl is fresh, nicely put together, and reasonably priced! It's run by a an older couple in an Asian market, very unassuming outside but absolutely delicious!
