“My wife and I love this place so I thought I should finally do a review. Sushi Aji is located in a very unassuming strip mall, but don’t let that dissuade you from giving this place a chance. The staff is extremely courteous and professional, and does a great job of anticipating your needs instead of reacting to your requests. The atmosphere is somewhat understated, but classy and you can see the sushi bar from most of the tables.We have tried everything from California rolls and spider rolls to the Bento lunchboxes, and even some udon noodle dishes. occasionally, I will even get a specialty role like the Playboy or the dragon roll ,all of which are delicious with a presentation that is wonderful and usually reserved for much more expensive sushi restaurants.They have a great selection of sake, and several Japanese beers that come in various sizes. To be truthful we usually get the less expensive hot sake because that’s actually what we enjoy the most, but have gotten other chilled sakes that were more expensive and also delicious. Overall, I think it is a good value for quality sushi and cocktails in an area of town that is relatively devoid of restaurants like this. Give Sushi Aji a try and you won’t be disappointed.“
“We got takeout here for the first time tonight and it was a mixed experience.The location is conveniently located, has plenty of parking, and seems clean. However, the prices are low for a reason: the fish is of mediocre quality, the rolls are sloppily assembled, and a couple of the things we ordered were slightly wrong (eg. ordered Philadelphia roll and got something labeled as spicy salmon, despite correctly containing cream cheese and not being spicy. It wasn't smoked salmon either, though, and it was supposed to be per the menu).tldr; will get sushi here again but only if our regular spot across town is closed. Recommend with reservations.“
“We went through the drive-thru. We got all of the onigiri, and they were the best we’ve had in Denver, including from grocery stores and pop-ups. Well-seasoned with warm + sticky rice. It’s great there is a vegetarian option as well, and it’s the best umeboshi I’ve had here!They also have bowls (some with bland steamed veggies), sushi, ramen, etc.The main problem is we live near Denver downtown so it’s not close enough grrr lol.Vegetarian options: There is one umeboshi onigiri, tofu appetizer, edamame, a sad-looking veggie bowl, sobaghetti, udon, 2 veg sushi, tempura, and a few desserts.Parking: There is also a drive-thru.“
“While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. I Ioved the unique ingredients like goat cheese that they use. There were so many other rolls I wanted to try so I would definitely come back to try more.“
“very nice! Mathew, our waiter was awesome! **** I have never heard of the appetizer the Avocado with lobster and crab, but it was out of this world. so delicious! Had shrimp and fish and sushi. excellent. never knew such a nice restaurant was so close. I dressed with t-shirt and should have dressed nicer. just had no idea how good this place was!“
“This place is so AMAZING!!! The food was super fresh and tasted incredible!!! The service and respect from the staff was unmatched and literally couldn’t have been better. My wife and I showed up super early this morning and were the only 2 people in the entire restaurant BUT WE WERE TREATED LIKE ROYALTY! The host graciously opened the hibachi grill and let us know that because it was early because they were still setting up that there might be a small wait while the hibachi chef preps. They brought plenty of soups, appetizers and drinks to keep us occupied while we waited. Once the chef arrived he was SOOO nice! We got the FULL EXPERIENCE even though it was just the two of us. We made sure to order plenty to make it worth his time and tipped well when everything was finished because they literally put full effort into the entire performance. My drink was never 1/2 empty and he always dumped it and refilled it with fresh ice. Hats off to an incredible experience. My wife and I will both be returning regularly.“
“Sushi neko is a great all-you-can-eat restaurant. It’s our favorite sushi spot in Arvada! The rolls are large and their appetizers are delicious.We tried to go on a Wednesday when they were closed and ended up going to another sushi spot where we got less sushi for more money; and it wasn’t as good either. We love Neko!Plus, the cat themed atmosphere is very fun!“
