I was so glad that was at the end bc my feelings would have been hurt if I found it before I was just about finished eating. my daughter had a Cali roll that she said was good. and a kid's bento box. the Ramen was a bit dry IMO but everyone liked it fine. good mango lemonade. I did an Arnold Palmer with mine.“

“overall i was satisfied. maybe it was a newer chef working, but the sushi rolls fell apart very easily. now i’m no pro with chopsticks, but this time i wasn’t the issue.

there was one other table sitting down while we were there and the waitress took a unreasonable time to come take our order sheet. which wasn’t a big deal for us but if you’re in a hurry it might be.“

“Nozomi is my go to sushi spot in all of Denver. The quality and service is top tier. Don’t even get me started on their happy hour, the food and drink is beyond worth it. The nigiri is always fresh and tastes delicious. Highly recommend this spot to anyone.“

“This was our second time dining at KUMOYA and of all the sushi spots in the Denver/Boulder area, this is our favorite. The Omakase is a great value and you won't leave hungry. The nigiri was very good and the katsu sando was an excellent way to finish our meal. The few drinks we tried have also been delicious and Bar KUMO looks like a fun spot. The inside is very nice and it can be loud on busier nights, but my wife and I didn't have any trouble hearing each other in a booth. The center tables are slightly louder. Overall, amazing food, good ambiance, great value, and excellent service.“

“Great spot for celiac / gluten free sushi.
Our waitress answered all my questions and I didn't feel like a burden. The made a change to all of the rolls we wanted by swapping out tempura or sauces that contained soy sauce.
We will definitely be back.

“I’ve been watching a YouTuber eat Japanese katsu curry and I wanted to try it. I didn’t have time to run to Denver so I did some research and found this place. I’m so happy I did and can’t believe I haven’t tried this place yet. I ordered the pork katsu curry. The pork cutlet was thin and crispy and curry sauce was amazing! The only thing is, as an Asian, I wish I had more rice but I’m not mad. It was so satisfying still! The lady at the front desk was so nice too. I did pick up but the restaurant looked so cute and welcoming. Definitely going to be back. The food was so good! Hidden gem with real authentic Japanese food for sure!“

“I just want to say that Ooka is and has been my go-to sushi spot. I am head over heels for their California roll and honestly anything else I’ve tried here. The staff is efficient and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the sushi is on point. Before we moved up north, we used to always partake in sushi Sundays from Ooka. I still pick it up frequently because it’s the best!“

“Yuki is my favorite restaurant. The sushi is always fresh and very well made. The Ramen can not be beat. House made noodles and 15+hrs steeped broth are nearly impossible to find anywhere else.

To top it off, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.“

“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“

“This restaurant hits every mark that most modern restaurants miss. I've never been to japan but the food feels so authentic. I ordered the bento box, and it was a nice sampler of what this place has to offer. The ratios were perfect, from the helpful serving of tempura to the precise amount of wasabi. Also, the best green tea I've ever had. Price, quality, and care are all the reasons why this restaurant hits every single mark. The food will fill you with joy that will carry you through the week.“

“This was our first time at this particular Tokyo Joe's and it has become my favorite. The restaurant was immaculate. Even the bathrooms were spotless. The food was fresh and carefully prepared. The staff were awesome, Kind and attentive. I dropped the lid of my cup that I had brought in and one of the kind people took it back and washed it for me. Though this is a little farther than the one we usually go to, we will drive the extra miles to this particular Tokyo Joe's.“

“Easy find an conveniently located. The sushi are so cheap, delicious, and well sized. Got 5 pieces of tempura sushi for around $7. They give you sauces at request and a good amount. The menu has amazing prices, especially in this economy. There's also drinks and snacks if you're interested.

My only true issue is the wait time. They only take an order or 2 every 5 to 10 minutes. I waited around 30 minutes for my order. I forgive this since there were only 2 workers and a decent number of customers. Bathrooms and tables are there while you wait. Clean inside.

If you're looking for cheap sushi- don't buy it for nearly twice the price at the target or Walgreens on either side. Get it fresher and tastier here.“

“I live in Golden and order carry out from Okinawa Sushi at least twice a month. I consider myself to be a bit of a sushi snob and did not want to like this place when it opened. I reluctantly tried it at the insistence of a friend and am now a regular. It's really hard to believe the sushi can be so good in Golden, CO of all places!“

“It has the most delicious Japanese food and most notably, great hospitality. If you're in Denver, this is the place to go for a delicious meal. Please call ahead for reservations. My friends rave about the food here. Don't forget to try the chocolate cake and pineapple flip cake. We will probably go back tonight because we loved it so much.
