“We hadn't been to Hana in awhile. Everything was fresh and delicious. The yellow tail carpacio with truffle was as excellent as we remembered. The spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, and every other roll we had were as good as any we've had, for literally half the price as the best boulder sushi spots.
Service was great. Booth atmosphere is nice. We will return soon!“

“Great spot for celiac / gluten free sushi.
Our waitress answered all my questions and I didn't feel like a burden. The made a change to all of the rolls we wanted by swapping out tempura or sauces that contained soy sauce.
We will definitely be back.

“I want to start by giving a shout-out to one of the waiters, Nan. She was not our primary waiter, however she was super kind and helpful! I was finding a bit loud in the restaurant and so I asked her if I could wait outside. Not only did she say yes, but also let me take up one of their outside tables. The food was good and the ABA Shioyaki Grilles Mackrel with sea salt was excellent!!!“

“Our first time dining at this place though we have wanted to go for a while after someone posted about it after they opened. Finally made it and glad we made reservations as it was packed since it was peak time Friday evening. Spoke with Koji-san, the owner, while we were waiting for our table and he also stopped by each table to check on them which we thought was great. We had the takoyaki, kaisen-mix okonomiyaki and the spicy miso ramen. All came within a reasonable amount of time and were delicious! Koji-san explained the background of offering takoyaki, which was so interesting and great for him to share. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items, esp their sushi, which looked delicious! Great to see a business busy and doing well!“

“Really enjoyed our experience. We had some really amazing dishes and some that were just so so. Service people very kind if not a bit slow. If I lived in the neighbourhood I would come back and learn the dishes I loved and avoid that ones I didn’t. The sort of business I would want to support if I were a local.“

“I just want to say that Ooka is and has been my go-to sushi spot. I am head over heels for their California roll and honestly anything else I’ve tried here. The staff is efficient and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the sushi is on point. Before we moved up north, we used to always partake in sushi Sundays from Ooka. I still pick it up frequently because it’s the best!“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. I have been here twice and both times the staff has been incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their all you can eat option is absolutely more than generous and the quality is excellent for the price point. I will continue bringing friends and family here. I brought my friend who was in from out of town for his birthday and we came back a week later because he didn’t want to leave without going to this restaurant again.

Per the bad reviews: Just take the time to understand the rules on the all you can eat menu and you will have a good experience. This place deserves 5 stars all around.“

“went for the first time yesterday. got that curry soup which was good (well order again not too sweet like coconut curt can be sometimes) but I asked for my rice on the side since it was to- go. rice was left off :( also, there was a little piece if eggshell in my soup. I was so glad that was at the end bc my feelings would have been hurt if I found it before I was just about finished eating. my daughter had a Cali roll that she said was good. and a kid's bento box. the Ramen was a bit dry IMO but everyone liked it fine. good mango lemonade. I did an Arnold Palmer with mine.“

“The food was so good, we came back again two days later! The BEST Orange Chicken I’ve ever had. They make it with real orange juice. Superb! Kung pao chicken was tender and wonderful. Drunken noodles - amazing. Sesame chicken was very good - too many onions though. This is our new favorite. We can’t wait to try everything on the menu.“

“Went to Benihana today. Spent close to $200. Service was horrible! Food was okay but not great. Asked for a sushi appetizer which did not come until we had our meal. Server said they didn't have enough help to fix it. When the sushi came we did not have any sauce. We asked one of the helpers who was walking by and she told us we would have to ask our server. We literally had to get up and go ask someone. Ridiculous for the amount of money we paid.“
