“We ordered the udon thick noodles, mango roll, tempura appetizer, and egg drop soup. All of the food tasted really good. The tempura was a good deal. The food came well packaged and hot, and the delivery driver came at the exact minute of our earliest ETA.“
“Bao Sushi Bar exceeded my expectations in every way. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the generous portions of fish served. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience. I highly recommend Bao Sushi Bar to anyone craving delicious sushi without breaking the bank.“
“Hana Japanese Bistro has been recommended by friends as an interesting place to try out in the Superior area. I've paid Hana two visits at the time of this review, once on a once on a Wednesday and on a Saturday- both around dinner time of 6-7pm. Hana Japanese Bistro is located in a small shopping plaza and surrounded with a variety of other restaurants and small shops. Parking may be tight at times, but usually you should be able to find parking - even on busier days where you have to park a bit further and walk to the restaurant. Service at the restaurant is fast, you usually will get your food within 10 minutes after ordering. This is both on slow and fast days of service, and also despite the number of other patrons in the restaurant. I tried a couple of options offered, from stir fry, rolls, and soupy noodles, which I'll review down below: Beef Yakisoba ($18): I would say this Yakisoba offered by Hana was more in the saltier side than I would have liked. Though the texture and spread of different ingredients in the stir fry was good, the flavor was lacking in dimension other than salty soy sauce. Shrimp Laksa ($18): A pretty solid bowl of noodles! The best part of this entree is the broth, it is very rich and hearty - You can taste the coconut and seafood flavor, and both blend pretty well together. The best description I got is that it tastes like a creamier Tom Yum, more of a Tom Kha. I got the udon noodle option and the broth clings to the noodles well. Though the flavor is excellent, the portion isn't really worth it in respect to the price. As after enjoying this bowl of noodles, I was definitely hungry for more stuff. Spicy Tuna Roll ($5): A pretty standard sushi roll, nothing too surprise. But it is usually hard to differentiate an outstanding sushi roll other than dissecting the roll and just tasting the fish quality. I would say on average you'll probably spend $16 - $30 for a meal here if you are feeling especially hungry. It does lean a bit more on the expensive side in terms of Japanese cuisine in the Superior area, but there are a good amount of options to try and so far the quality seems good. I would revisit to try the other options!“
“Wow wow WOW! Honestly do not have a single negative thing to say. From the moment we were welcomed in to the moment we left, everything was amazing. There wasn't a bite I wasn't obsessed with. Everything tasted so fresh and the plating was beautiful. As much as we loved the food, the service was maybe the most impressive. The staff was so hospitable and worked together. Our server Dan was so kind and really helped make our dinner fabulous. Can't wait to come back!“
“Spent time on a study abroad in Japan and after coming back I was desperate to find some of the comfort food I had over there. The only Japanese place that I have eaten at in Colorado to date that provides a truly authentic menu has been Osaka's. Okonomiyaki is a rare treat in the states and I love every bit of what they serve. I can without a doubt say that this is the best Japanese restaurant that I have been to outside of Japan.Prices are a little high, but that is par for the course for Boulder.I try to eat here every time I find myself in Boulder.“
“Went tonight and it was delicious! They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy and were very kind about it. The fish was notebly fresh and honestly some of the best I've had in the country. For sure check this place out.Dietary restrictions: Just tell them you're gluten free before you order.“
“Got the Spicy Shoyu Ramen. Flavors are by far the most flavorful I've had since it seems like lots of places are afraid to have more flavor. It's good and rich. Ingredients are fresh and good quality. Service is great and atmosphere is very modern.“
“I was pleasantly surprised to find that this establishment did NOT have regular "American" arcade games...all of the games are actually in Japanese!! It gives the place an entirely different feel, and it's fabulous! The bar serves a wide array of drinks, but they focus on saké drinks to keep with the atmosphere. They also have league e-sport competitions going on. This place is great, and I highly recommend for a night out of gaming.“
“We went for lunch. Their sushi is very good. They just opened and didn’t have nigiri on the menu, but they did make it upon request. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. We will definitely be back for dinner to try their other entrees.“
“The best sushi in Boulder. I guarantee. The green mochi with strawberry in the center was one of the best desserts i think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was super nice, and the atmosphere was top?, highly recommend going out to dinner here. They deserve all the attention! On a fall night their service and the miso soup warmed my heart and my soul!!!Thanks for the amazing food sushi chefs, I never thought I would be so stunned by fish this far from an ocean!“
“It was -5 degrees in the midst of a cold December evening. All I could think about was ramen. This voice in my head was like ramen, Ramen, RAMEN! So after investigating a few different places I went to Udon Kashi for their ramen. It was rather Devine in flavor and texture. Besides the ramen being tasty, the host was super helpful with helping me pick out the right ramen. She was funny too! Give them a fair shake and let me know what you think!“
“Incredible! The volcano ramen blew me away with its bold flavors and fiery kick. The spicy beef broth was so addictive, I couldn't get enough. The generous portion of beef was tender and packed with flavor, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. A definite must-try for spice enthusiasts!“
“Go Fish is our favorite place to go for sushi in the area. Sushi was both delicious and beautifully presented. This visit however, service was not up to par. Waiter seemed to forget to bring our miso soups and ran to get them after bringing our appetizer. And we had a non-sushi eater who ordered from the kitchen. About 15 minutes after the sushi arrived, we had to ask about the order and he panically ran to the kitchen and put the order in. He was very nice and apologetic, maybe just having an off day. They gave us some edamame to compensate for the botched order, but we had already eaten, so that was not appreciated. It was also a birthday celebration which we told them when being seated and also when making the reservation. Normally they acknowledge a birthday with a small dessert (which we would not mind paying for if needed) but this time.... nothing. This experience will not stop us from going back, but the service needs to return to what we usually receive.“
“Very nice restaurant! I love this place! Amazing lunch for the price! Very nice dinner for business meetings. Staff is very good about refilling water if that's all you're drinking. Nice selection of sake as well. Sushi is amazing!!! Entrées are also amazing!!! Soups are also delicious. I love the Miso soup.“
“I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars and one of the better places Sushi wise which I have visited in Colorado. The sushi was very good and the place was very clean. The staff was friendly and they had a great selection of fish. The restaurant is very conveniently located off I-25.I look forward to visiting again and trying their specialities to give a broader review.“
“The food was so good, we came back again two days later! The BEST Orange Chicken I’ve ever had. They make it with real orange juice. Superb! Kung pao chicken was tender and wonderful. Drunken noodles - amazing. Sesame chicken was very good - too many onions though. This is our new favorite. We can’t wait to try everything on the menu.“
“We loved it. Great food. Sushi was fresh and not smothered in sauce to mask bad fish. It is in the market/grocery store but there is plenty of seating. Chef Tsukasa was swamped but we sat at the bar and watched him work and he was great!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of open seating“
“I highly, highly recommend Sushi Aji! Not only are the staff (Stella at the register) and owner (Yuki) very friendly, they are equally efficient, and the food was fantastic! I was serviced immediately upon entering and I ordered to go at the counter. Even after arriving home, my sushi and noodles were packaged wonderfully with no issues or concerns. The establishment was also very tidy and clean. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Japanese cuisine, you know where to go :)“
“While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. I Ioved the unique ingredients like goat cheese that they use. There were so many other rolls I wanted to try so I would definitely come back to try more.“
“Food was amazing! There was no wait on Saturday at 7:30PM. Great find on our visit to the Denver area.Edit… We came back for a second visit to the Denver area and stopped again. It did not disappoint. Great service and food again. We will be back.“
“I had takeout from the Chilihana's food truck last night and it was amazing! I got the trio with filet mignon, chicken and shrimp! The portions were huge. The filet was high quality but the shrimp was sub par- not saying it was bad but it wasn't top notch. My friends advised we call ahead and place our order then go pick up. Wait times are usually about 20-30 min. This is a great option when you have that Benihana craving minus the long and drawn out dog n pony show. You seen one flaming onion tower and hibachi choo choo train then you seen em all. Get the trio with the Diablo sauce and thank me later. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection!! Makes me want to kiss the cook!!“
“Title: The Great Wall of MayoSo, I embarked on a culinary journey at Motomaki, and little did I know it would turn into the Great Wall of Mayo! My bowl arrived looking like it had just survived a mayo storm – I half-expected to see a tiny mayo lifeboat floating in there. But hold your horses because here's the twist – the moment I spilled the mayo beans (literally), the staff transformed! Apologies rained down faster than a mayo downpour, and they whisked away my overly mayoed creation, promising a mayo-balanced masterpiece in return. The customer service at Motomaki was great – they handled the mayo mayhem professional and with fast responses.“

“Ive recently had the pleasure of dining at this awesome sushi spot. Let me tell you, it was great. The workers there were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The sushi was top-notch, very fresh, especially liked the Volcano roll. The best part is that the service was really convenient and fast. Wouldn’t go to any other sushi spot period!!“
“We went for dinner on the earlier side. Service was very prompt and we were in and out with the kids entertained and fed in an hour. The chef was very accommodating for the kids and asked us what would be best for them regarding the flare ups on the grill etc. The food being ready in stages was great for the young children. The steak was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options available. Cooking on the same surface as the meat might be an issue for some.Dietary restrictions: The server asked about dietary restrictions before taking our order.Parking: Parking could be a little tight if going at a busy time.Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs and immediately brought kids water cups out. The chef was very accommodating and put on a show for the little ones. They were thrilled and enjoyed all the food.“
