“Our first time dining at this place though we have wanted to go for a while after someone posted about it after they opened. Finally made it and glad we made reservations as it was packed since it was peak time Friday evening. Spoke with Koji-san, the owner, while we were waiting for our table and he also stopped by each table to check on them which we thought was great. We had the takoyaki, kaisen-mix okonomiyaki and the spicy miso ramen. All came within a reasonable amount of time and were delicious! Koji-san explained the background of offering takoyaki, which was so interesting and great for him to share. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items, esp their sushi, which looked delicious! Great to see a business busy and doing well!“

“Truly some of the best sushi I’ve had in my life coming from the east coast and Japan trips. The sushi chef Goichi is very friendly and a master at his craft; his unique soy sauce blend is modified depending on the nigiri you order, leaving you with a rich and complementary flavor profile every time. Tried it for the first time last night and had to come back again for seconds the next night! Please do not miss out on this experience. And remember omakase needs to be booked at least a week in advance! (Didn’t get to try it 🤧)“

“This is one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder! We’ve eaten there many times, including last night, where we had a very lovely time, laughed with the staff and other customers at the sushi bar, drank great sake, I had my favorite salad in Boulder the seaweed salad called katsui (sp?). Buy the staff a round! It’s so much fun. 🤩“

“Tried the tan tan ramen (with added black mushroom oil), kare ramen, addictive cabbage salad, and the mochi ice cream. Tan tan was delicious, creamy and strong yuzu taste. The kare could have had some creaminess to it. The broth was spicy curry but very thin. The cabbage salad really was addictive!“
