This restaurant hits every mark that most modern restaurants miss. I've never been to japan but the food feels so authentic. I ordered the bento box, and it was a nice sampler of what this place has to offer. The ratios were perfect, from the helpful serving of tempura to the precise amount of wasabi. I’m a Japanese native and in town for business. I feel very lucky to have found this place in downtown Denver. There are fancy sushi places around here, but this is an old school diner run by the real Japanese folks. On my first visit I had a bowl of Mabo Ramen. I live in Houston, but I don’t have it there, so I had to try. And I’m totally happy with it :).
