“The takoyaki here is the best in Colorado Springs. They got our order wrong once but overall, service has been great and the food has come out quickly. Been here a few times, will continue to drop by for late night sushi and takoyaki.Prices are a little high but typical for a bar.”
“We have visited here many many times. As sushi enthusiasts, this is the best sushi in Colorado springs. We have tried many other places and none compare to here. We mostly dine in, but we have ordered take out as well. Each time the quality and service is excellent. The variety of rolls that they have is great and we find ourselves ordering the same ones, but also trying a new roll every time. They do get very busy here (for good reason) so sometimes the wait for sushi can be long but it is worth it. We have also tried other entrée options here such as noodles and ramen. The portion sizes are huge for those and the food is delicious as well. One of our favorite items is the spicy edamame! Lots of the rolls feature cream cheese which is great. Also, the miso soup is really good. We have tried many sake’s and beers here and nothing has disappointed. If you are looking for the best sushi in the springs it is here!”
“this place was amazing. everyone was so kind and the food was amazing! the presentation was everything. they even gave us stickers when we left. if i was from around here i would go all the time!Vegetarian options: i got an avocado roll and it was so good. i’m pretty picky so that was satisfying for me.”
“I’m so glad I stopped in to sushi spot. Ethan is a really great guy. Yaniq and star are always my wait staff and they’re both great as well. Every single time the food is amazing and I never have to choose. I just tell Ethan I want four rando rolls and he always hooks it up. Great food, service, prices, and people. Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place until today.Edit: if the person that gave this place a bad review would fancy a chance at reconciliation….. I offer pistols at dawn.”
“Been here once for sit-down lunch and two other pick-ups it has been excellent. It’s a place you go for good food, not for ambience. Sushi has always been consistent and their bowl broths are excellent. If you order a to-go bowl the spicy broth they just put chili oil in it and it breeches the lid of the container so I suggest not getting spicy broth to go, add your own. (Broth is separate from the noodles and protein) The parking lot is oddly tilted and pot-holed, might want to park on level ground near the convenience store.”
“This is one of my favorite hole in the walls. It feels a little out dated but the people are nice and the sushi is great! Totally recommend the Sunflower roll, I get it every time! Honestly, I think I may spend a little too much time here if that's possible! We average about 60-90 ( sometimes more but this is the typical ) a visit with at least 4 or 5 types of sushi, appetizer, miso, salad and saki.11-13-23 : still one of the best spots in town for sushi! We come a few times a month and every time the quality has been spot on. This is a perfect spot for some quiet ( mostly ) time together with good food!”
“My husband and I came in on a Sunday evening about 30 min before closing time. We got excellent service and stellar food! We shared the Mama Special Poke Bowl with extra protein. The bowl hard warm rice, fresh tuna & salmon, crunchy veggies, and wonderfully complimentary toppings like spicy Mayo and crispy garlic. We cannot wait to come back. Great value and so tasty!”
“Here’s the thing…the sashimi, rolls, and nigiri are FANTASTIC and the staff is really helpful—especially Jordan. I live waaay NE and he put my take home sushi on a packet of ice so I could get it home to enjoy there. Customer service is king, but you have to have good product and theirs is great. Thanks again Jordan!”
“Great atmosphere, staff are always nice, food tastes delicious and overall just a great place. They have a pretty varied menu while still keeping with a theme. My favorite is the miso ramen, I highly recommend it. I also recommend the pork buns, they're super tasty!Vegetarian options: Great amount of vegetarian options (sushi rolls, red bean buns, vegan ramen etc)Dietary restrictions: Let them know about your dietary restrictions and they will try to accomidate you. They have plenty of options and if you ask they will remove or add things to a dish.Parking: Parking is near the restraunt.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with comfy seats as well as high chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessable.”
“I've lived in a lot of states/cities and eaten a lot of food. This place is phenomenal, and we are very happy to see them open & thriving again after they were temporarily closed. The family that runs BH is wonderful and spends time making each meal carefully, whether it be Japanese or Korean. I really enjoy watching them fry my tempura right within view. Try them if you have a chance!!”
“Absolutely the best sushi I have had in a while. The Avalanche 2 roll and the Ai roll were amazing as well as the tempura scallops. Honestly anything you order from here I think would be amazing. So happy to have found this gem while visiting Colorado Springs! My whole family left feeling very satisfied.Kid-friendliness: The kids bento boxes have so much variety and my kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals!”
“Excellent experience. Server was top notch with a great personality and positivity just bursting out of him. Super fast and Attentive. Mississippi roll and rainbow roll were on point and priced right. Saki selection was great. Would recommend for a quick drop in to grab a bite. We spent $51 plus tip, and left full and feelin great about the purchase. 5 stars in my book.Oh, and the complimentary muso soup is actually tasty af. The spinach in it is super fresh.”
“I had the miso ramen, which was pretty good, although the pork was a little bit fatty. The waitress was quite nice and attentive, and the barley tea was great. But I do have to admit, I was disappointed when they changed the TV from Digimon to some kind of cooking show...”
“Such a cute place! Their food was so delicious and FRESH. I did ala carte but I regret not doing All you can eat. I loved watching the sushi chefs freshly slice pieces of fish right in front of me. Megan (sp?) Was so awesome! Loved the relaxed vibe.”
“Once again we found a wonderful spot to enjoy another meal. We found the sushi to be tasty, fresh and delicious. Our waitress Rika was so friendly and helpful and a joy to talk with. The ambiance was nothing elaborate, but was very nice and very clean. If you enjoy sushi and Japanese cuisine, give Boda a try.”
“Service is kind of slow, but’s there’s usually only two people working at the time. But absolutely worth the wait, the food here is phenomenal. My husband absolutely loved the sushi, and the ramen here is the best ramen I have EVER had!!! 10/10 would go here again!!”
“It has been my go-to spot as it is affordable and has fresh fish and haven't had any problems. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch.The special rolls are absolutely delicious and loaded!Don't forget to try the hand rolls. Those are my favorite.”
“Service is quick, and the staff are friendly. They remember me by name, as well as my preferences. I have health issues which prevent me from being able to eat anything fried or spicy. Awi has an extensive menu, so they have a lot of options that are friendly for my dietary restrictions. I love sushi, but usually when I go out, there are only a couple of rolls at most other places to choose between due to my health issues. I don't think Awi has any deep-fried rolls at all on their menu. Their sushi has some nice affordable options, too. They also have tasty canned boba teas, with flavors like Brown Sugar and Banana. I order sushi here at least once per week.”
“I'm going to say that regardless of the other reviews (negative), this place is the real deal. I have been to many great places up in Denver and here in Colorado Springs for sushi. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this place ranks at the very top (my opinion). Does sushi cost, yes! If you want cheap sushi this is not your place. It's brought in from California and New York....FRESH!!! Hello, this is Colorado not the east cost or west cost, its going to cost $$$! Now for the food, its hard to explain that this is totally legit! Best place in Colorado Springs! The owners know their sushi and have a staff that can make anything! If you want an awesome sushi roll (pic), the Umi Sushi Roll....and if you use soy sauce on it your insane! The taste by itself is incredible, no addition needs to be added to it, trust me! If you love sushi, and they will be adding more Korean food items as well, this is the place!”
“Our server Veronica made our first-ever visit to Sushi Row an exceptional experience, rather than just a great sushi meal, which it was.Her knowledge of the menu, recommendations, and attention to detail were outstanding. Not only did she make us feel welcome, but also ensured that our meal was flawless from start to finish.Veronica is a true asset to this restaurant, and we look forward to returning for her outstanding service and, of course, the delicious sushi!”
“The single best sushi we have had here. Fresh, full of flavor, amazing. VIP Roll...insane. Rainbow Roll..melts in your mouth. Maine Attraction... speechless. Plain Fried Rice...best Take Away rice EVER! BRAVO R&R Sushi. Thank you for an incredible ”
“This place is amazing! Go there all the time. I brought my friend that came off base and he felt the customer service was out of this world! Our server Maya had exceptional service and even helped us celebrate his birthday! 10/10 would recommend to”
“Great sushi, but oh lawdy the grilled calamari teriyaki was *amazing* and there was so much of it! I wish the Pina Colada was blended a bit better, but it's such a little thing that it didn't bother me.Great service as well; the waitresses were really taking care of us despite how many patrons they had. I'm super impressed!”
“I LOVE RONG CHENG!!! Best Chinese food in the springs and the sweet lady at the front is always so nice and she’s even remembered my husband and I . Ever since moving from the Bay Area In California I’ve tried to find the best food here and only Rong Cheng does it !! Thank youKid-friendliness: Super cute atmosphere definitely could take the kiddos some time :)”
“I came because of the owner’s hilarious responses to one star reviews and found my new favorite sushi restaurant in Colorado Springs. I spent 4 years in Japan so I’m a bit of a sushi snob. This place is excellent! Big pieces of very fresh fish in every roll, and the presentation was really well done. The prices were extremely reasonable and the atmosphere felt like a much more expensive experience. Without a doubt, the best sushi I’ve had in Colorado.”
