Amore Italian Grille is an incredible new Italian restaurant in University Shoppes, offering a perfect and one-of-a-kind experience. This is not typical Italian fare, as the menu features unique dishes like a smoky and tender pork porterhouse with salsa verde, tender and flavorful branzino, and a good Bolognese with fresh noodles. Excellent bar food includes Brussels sprouts, corn bread with pecan butter, and olive tapenade. Appetizers like arancini and calamari are good, and sides include homemade Parmesan mashed potatoes. For dessert, the lemon sorbet with berries is a light palate cleanser.
The service is often impeccable and spot on, with great attention to detail, though the restaurant can suffer some slow service growing pains on busy nights. The ambience is everything, making for a great night out. The food is meticulously prepared with care and plated with intention, providing an incredible experience that leaves guests satisfied. It is a true gem.
