25 Best Cocktail Bars in Colorado Springs

“this is our 3rd or 4th visit. It's always great. Food continues to innovate, menu is evolving and at the same time our favorites (Lobster shooters) are still there. Nice wine selection, very good service - our server was Matthew, and he was fantastic. One of our favorites in Colorado Springs!”

“Above and beyond any expectations!! Everything we ate (which was A LOT) couldn't have been better. Steaks cooked PERFECTLY. The drinks were wonderful and the service was top notch. We were taken care of from the minute we walked through the door. Our reservation wasn't until 8, so we had happy hour appetizers and drinks in the lounge. It was first come first serve, but seating was still orchestrated by the hostess, which was nice. They pulled up extra chairs around the fireplace for us when we arrived. We picked cowboy star for our in-laws visit and everyone had an amazing night!”

“This is the best place and everyone that works there is so loving and welcoming. I've had some of my best conversations at this place and would recommend it to anyone that wants to have a genuine human interaction. Also, the cinnamon rolls are amazing.”

“If ordering food, the best things on the menu by far are the Decon Fakey 180 and the gyozas for the slaw it comes with. That slaw should be on everything. Absolutely delicious. This place is primarily a bar / gastropub situation from what I could tell but I only wish they'd make their portions bigger and expand their menu just a tiny bit - the springs needs good food like this! You can tell the chef is creative and knows flavor. The food is thoughtful and well-balanced. A great example is their miso soup with an onion ring on the side - love that creativity, and it works beautifully together. Drinks are great and the vibe is right. Just more of a bar than a restaurant (as intended). Service was also fantastic.”

“Awesome Asian inspired American eatery with a wide variety of adventurous interpretations as well as some more traditional options for those not so adventurous. A good number of vegetarian choices along with burgers, salmon and bulgogi offerings for the rest of your party. They also offer a number of non alcoholic drink selections which was nice to see. They do take reservations if you give them a call, and can accommodate several groups of 6-8 folks pretty easily as well as more cozy groups or date nights. Theres a really small patio on the front for those amazing nights we get from time to time. Overall just a great local place you should definitely add to your rotation!”

“While not hidden, you feel as if you are walking up to a secret door, down a sidewalk alley. I cannot honestly say much about the inside, other than it was a bit confusing if you seat yourself or wait to be seated....but a staff member directed us in less than two minutes that we could pick our own spot on the patio. Low table, hightops and couches adorn this enclosed patio. Sadly the fire towers nor the fireplace worked the night we enjoyed this spot. The edamame should always be ordered spicy, alongside the mashi-mandu. I also liked the gogi lettuce wraps, but beware - they seem to be as messy as eatting wings! Extra water is not automatically placed on the table, but is brought in a beautiful glass decanter once you ask. From a sign I saw, live music is played here. Staff are friendly and the food is definitely worth going back for again and again.”

“Shame & Regret! What can I say other than this is the spot you’ve been searching for! Monday night scotch flights with some amazing options that you can’t pass up. The staff is Too Shelf all day every day. We bring our whomever we can to get them to learn about an amazing spot they are too quick to pass up. Head Down the alley and don’t disappoint yourself and choose somewhere else to grab a Scotch, Whiskey, Bourbon, Cocktail… whatever it is you’re wanting. Even have a few awesome beers available that don’t disappoint. Matt has done something amazing with this spot, and we always have to come and see our favorite homie, Kentiya! Missed you tonight! Hah!”

“Food was delicious! Not fancy inside but loved the family owned ambience!! In a day of restaurant chain's this is very refreshing! Will definitely go back! Ate every bite and was going to pass on dessert but I'm glad we didn't. Keylime cake was to die for!!”

“My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here. We are from NY so we know good food and this definitely surpassed our expectations. The service, the food and the attention to detail was impressive. Each course was better than the next with generous portion sizes. Couldn't have asked for a better anniversary dinner”

“Great bar that offers up a large selection of craft cocktails. They don’t offer food but there are plenty of places around that you can order form and bring into the Principal’s Office. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders and cool themed atmosphere. An absolute must visit when in town.”

“Local spot in B Forest. Great food and Artisan drinks. The service can be a bit slow, but the staff makes up for that with their attentiveness and friendliness. The patio is recommended as it can get a bit tight inside. We visited as a group and everyone ordered something different. All of the entrees looked great and positive comments on the food from everyone. The couple we were with raved about the bacon maple old fashioned. The Sushi Nachos are a must-try appetizer. I Highly recommend. Reservations are also recommended.”

“This was such a fun find in the area! Great service, great atmosphere, and some of the best food I've had around. Not only that, but it's brought to you in adorable, little dutch ovens so you can eat your heart out in country style. We are looking forward to coming back for the live music. The beer selection is great and the cocktails are creative and tasty as well.”

“Surprisingly good. I've walked by this place several times, thinking it wouldn't be worth the stop...I was wrong. It was an older crowd (not decrepit, but not 21), so it was a low key atmosphere. The bartender mixed great drinks, and though I didn't eat, whatever he was cooking smelled absolutely amazing...and it was made to order. Worth a stop!”

“In door and outdoor areas are a great atmosphere and the staff all seem to be about service. The food was really good and the recommendation made by our waiter was great. They have valet parking, but there's also a lot of street parking nearby.I really didn't have any issues. The wait for a table was pretty good for brunch time on a Saturday”

“Great food and a great atmosphere! I had breakfast here recently with my wife and her parents and we all loved it. The food was fantastic and Susanna herself came to our table to ask how everything was. I feel that it's quite rare to have the chef/owner have such a personal interaction with the customers, so I appreciated that unique touch. I definitely recommend trying out breakfast here and my wife and I can't wait to go back and try out their dinner menu!”

“My husband and I hit this up after visiting the other location, and honestly we still loved it! The theme when we visited was LOTR and OMG the drinks(and the staff) were amazing. If you like themed speakeasies, delicious drinks, and great atmosphere, this is the place for you.”

“We LOVE this restaurant!! The menu is diverse, and the food is beyond incredible. This was our regular date night spot, and we brought all our family and friends here as well. Our only complaint is that we just moved and won't be able to frequent this restaurant anymore! If you're on the fence, just go and try it for yourself!”

“Hubby and I enjoyed the experience. The food especially the crab Mac and cheese and honey glazed Salmon was awesome! Let me take the time to say I was hesitant to order the turkey greens but baaaabbbyyy that thing was fire. I really wanted to ask can I have the recipe but I know they would have looked at me crazy. Hun and I was in Colorado for our anniversary, and this place did not disappoint. The server that handled the liquor... forgot her name but she use to live in Valdosta she was Great. My only disappointment was that we waited until the last night to go this place because if we had found it earlier this would have been the everyday stop. We will be back colorado and know it's only because of COATI!!!”

“You won't be disappointed. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. The menu is amazing and they are able to make things to your liking. I'm coming back next time we're in CS. Get a bottle of bourbon to take home. It's a "have to" stop.”

“Drinks were unique. Can't say I loved the ones we ordered, but I would definitely give another shot with a different drink next time. Ambiance was really cool and they really captured the speak easy vibe. Service was great and it wasn't over crowded or too loud which was a plus for us. You can actually have a conversation over a pretty unique beverage.”

“If you’re looking for a cool place to take friends or just enjoy a few drinks by yourself, look no further! The drinks are on point, the food is delish, and the staff is so sweet and friendly!Last night they had their 5 years in business anniversary party and it was pretty busy but Shayne, Abbey and Chris crushed it like always! If you’re working with any of them I know you’ll be well taken care of!”

“Justin and Sam were both delightful and highly knowledgeable of the lord of the rings which was the current theme. We enjoyed 4 rounds of drinks and the last two were based off their recommendations and enjoyed every one. 10/10 would recommend.”

“I selfishly don't want to leave a review because I enjoy places that have amazing drinks where you don't have to make a reservation in advance in order to walk in and enjoy the evening. The drinks my wife and I had here were some of the best, if not the best drinks we've had in CO Springs. This place definitely deserves more business than they had the evening we were there. Not only were the drinks amazing, but the service was great as well. The bartender serving us was very friendly and could make a hell of a cocktail. Overall, great drinks, service, and ambiance. Will be back. Many times.”

“I went here to support a friend as she hosted a comedy show that was held here (My Funny Valentines). It was a nice, cozy little place that had artwork on the walls. The bartender that was there hooked me up with a strong Margarita. Also, that night, I was able to try one of the food trucks there. I chose the vegetarian arepa. It was delicious and actually reminded me of something I used to eat back home in the South... hot water cornbread. It was such a fun and great night.”

“Great bar for celebrating a small special event. They have creative, yummy cocktails and the staff is helpful and friendly. The drinks are all around $10, served in a smaller, speakeasy appropriate size glass, but they're boozy and will sneak up on you!”
