“For the first four years after moving to Colorado Springs, I never recognized what lovely little gem Marigold is. The owners offer a nice touch of warmth and hospitality, for what I thought was a quick visit for a glass of wine and raspberry cheesecake (a must try). I truly am appalled at the customer service and fantastic ambiance that the seating and bar area has to offer. The restaurant has a variety of French cuisine, with a great selection of wine and cocktails to choose from. I also appreciate Gus and his wife for truly making it a priority to appreciate their guests and take pride in the service they have to offer.”

“The food was absolutely amazing. Our server was on top of everything. Making sure we got everything we ordered, that it tasted great, and drink refills. We didn't have to ask for anything. We sat outside and the view was amazing. This was my first time and I can't wait to go back.”

“Shame & Regret! What can I say other than this is the spot you’ve been searching for! Monday night scotch flights with some amazing options that you can’t pass up. The staff is Too Shelf all day every day. We bring our whomever we can to get them to learn about an amazing spot they are too quick to pass up. Head Down the alley and don’t disappoint yourself and choose somewhere else to grab a Scotch, Whiskey, Bourbon, Cocktail… whatever it is you’re wanting. Even have a few awesome beers available that don’t disappoint. Matt has done something amazing with this spot, and we always have to come and see our favorite homie, Kentiya! Missed you tonight! Hah!”

“While not hidden, you feel as if you are walking up to a secret door, down a sidewalk alley. I cannot honestly say much about the inside, other than it was a bit confusing if you seat yourself or wait to be seated....but a staff member directed us in less than two minutes that we could pick our own spot on the patio. Low table, hightops and couches adorn this enclosed patio. Sadly the fire towers nor the fireplace worked the night we enjoyed this spot. The edamame should always be ordered spicy, alongside the mashi-mandu. I also liked the gogi lettuce wraps, but beware - they seem to be as messy as eatting wings! Extra water is not automatically placed on the table, but is brought in a beautiful glass decanter once you ask. From a sign I saw, live music is played here. Staff are friendly and the food is definitely worth going back for again and again.”

“My last big meal before heading back to the east coast- and definitely the right place to go for! Edelweiss was a classic German restaurant with select menu options- but all sounding delicious! All of our meals were fantastic and the selection of cakes for dessert too! Service was perfect for the setting, and the restaurant had a beautiful outdoor dining area, I’d definitely recommend on a nice day. Reservations are recommended if you’re going anytime in the evening as the restaurant certainly fills up quick.”

“I've been to the Venua at Almagre for two separate events in the past couple of months and honestly loved the layout of the space and the service. The entry with small bar is set up in such a way as to subtly control the crowd flow to the larger back rooms and allow people to grab a drink before they mingle. The most recent event I attended had a speaker at one end of the room, presenting to about 50 attendees set up at tables in a large, dispersed "U" shape. The acoustics were great and the layout worked very well for conversation among the group. I would definitely recommend this as a venue for hosting a small to moderate (100+) sized event.”

“The Rabbit Hole is such a wonderful place to dine. The atmosphere is amazing! The restaurant is decorated so cute. The entrance is so cute. You actually have to know where you're going. It's like you are going down to a subway station. Our waitress, Erica was amazing. One of our party wanted Ranch dressing. They don't have that, but they went next door to a neighboring restaurant and got him the dressing. The food was delicious.”

“We really wanted to try this place but they were closing in ten minutes. We were going to get our food to go but they were so sweet and insisted we stay and eat! Well, it was totally worth it! I had the chicken rosemary pot pie and my husband had the beef pot pie. Best pot pies ever! We took desserts to go. We had the lemon pie with blueberry compote and the bourbon chocolate pecan. Let's just say-don't skip on the dessert!”

“After being accommodated a few times to find just the right table....our server “Rowen” aimed to please! The service was over the top! She made suggestions and pretty much granted our every wish!! Our table of four came in with a bad attitude after having an awful UBER experience on the way to Prime 25! Rowen was quick to smile and change all of our negatives in to positives!! We were made to feel like VIPs and we all loved it!!”

The bartender mixed great drinks, and though I didn't eat, whatever he was cooking smelled absolutely amazing...and it was made to order. Worth a stop!”

“Happy Tap is one of the best hidden gems in the Springs. You always have the locals (true locals). Pets are welcome as long as they are friendly. Bring the family cause that's what this place reminds me of, a family. Lots of different beer on tap and almost always a food truck. They have accommodated parties with ease. “Stopped here on a whim based on the name alone. So glad I did. The atmosphere here was amazing. Lovely little spot. The signature cocktails were so good. Had the alchemist and would definitely get it again. The Phish and chips were also really good. The fries might be some of the best fries I've ever had. Place was clean, staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I for sure recommend this place if you need a drink or two or want a quick bite to eat. You can't go wrong!”

“I'm so glad that the springs has Vultures. It's one of my favorite places to stop by. I've gone to so many shows here now not knowing what to expect and walking out with a new favorite artist. They have a great drink selection and their food is surprisingly delicious. I had their taco Tuesday special and Mac and cheese and both were shockingly good. Staff is great as well. Kylie is almost always there as well as the owner Aspen. Their new hire Eric seemed wonderful as well. Always a welcoming and fun environment.”

She made comments about my portion size (I was 9 months pregnant at the time), took food from the table my husband was actively eating, and nearly brought me an alcoholic beverage. Very disappointing considering it is a fairly expensive date night. Everything else is great, just be sure to not show up near closing time, order drinks listed on the menu, and eat before you go.”

“Ended up here because we needed a bar/hang out place open on a Monday near Carfree. The service by the staff was great! They were attentative and on point. We never ordered food, but the atmosphere was cool. Definitely a sports bar though. All of the walls were decorated with golf man trim and plenty of screens to enjoy any of the games that night.”

The staff is always excited to help educate people about the history and benefits of kava along with the other herbal beverages that provide an alternative to those who prefer not to drink. I've met some really cool people here, both as employees and as customers here. I wish a place like this had existed when I was in college or high school. It is the perfect hang out spot!”

“Super cool concept. We loved trying food from the different venders. Not the biggest fan of the Mac and cheese from the bbq place. The one from ivywild kitchen looked better. Also they put bacon on my side order of Mac and cheese. I don't eat bacon and this was not in the description so I had to pick it all off :( otherwise we loved it here! Will definitely return to try more food and drinks.”

“Very cool place!This is my first time visiting, it's so laid back and welcoming. We were greeted by an adorable "bar dog". No, not the local drunk, an actual dog that was sweet and made the place very endearing. The decorations have a kitchy local feel like you're relaxing in your own living room. There was a local band playing 80s and 90s hits and really made the night fun. There are 2 pool tables and darts inside. Outside is a nice seating area with horseshoes and cornhole for some light competitive entertainment. It doesn't get more home-y than this, you gotta check it out for yourself.”

“I LOVED MY WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!!! I just had my wedding here at The Venue at Almagre on November 5th, 2022. I want to give a shout out to my wonderful wedding planners. The day of my wedding planner Abigail was so sweet and on top of it. I thought that I was going to be so stress but on my day Abigail made it go as smooth as can be. She keep checking in with my whole bridal party and my self + husband to make sure we were good or needed something. I love the decor, food, and the DJ. I loved everything about my wedding day.I had such a great experience. I recommend going with the Venue at Almagre! The only thing I didn't like was that the bridal suite seemed crammed with everyone's stuff. I think that maybe if the suite had some type of armoire so that when getting pictures taken in the bridal suite you don't have all the stuff all over the place. Other than that I had the most magical day!!!”

“Randomly walked by and was drawn in by the entry which beckoned you underground. We'd already been to the Rabbit Hole so another windowless hidden bar was seeming normal. The drinks are fun, tropical, as you would guess. I had the dragonfruit and enjoyed very much. My friend didn't care for her drink and they gladly replaced at no charge. Fun vibes, many different types of sitting areas around two bars and many table and couch areas, so you can choose the ambience you'd like to imbibe in.Recommend a stop here. Crowd was mostly Gen Z with a pinch or Millenial, but it meshed.”

“GREAT BURGERS. Was told to go here by the concierge at my hotel, he called it a "dive bar" with great food. I concur with the great food, but I wouldn't call it a dive bar. It's got a bit of a dive bar aesthetic if you gentrified a dive bar. That being said, it's a fun place to go with a good sized bar, table seating, a small outdoor area, and a pool table. The bartender was great and the burger, seriously, the burger, was bomb. I highly suggest you get the EAST COAST burger. I've never had a pastrami sandwich with a burger patty before and I was astounded at how good it was. I wish I lived nearby so I could get it more often. Reasonable prices.”

“The Hotel Bar is one of the best places to meet friends/family and dine or have a drink. STEPHEN was our favorite server. He is one of the most attentive and knowledgable servers at the Hotel Bar. Definitely ask to have him wait on you when you go. Also, JULIAN (server at The Hotel infinity pool) is equally attentive and knowledgable. Ask for his section, and ask for him take care of you at the pool. He and Stephen are both great assets to the Broadmoor. You’ll have a great stay!”

“Rico’s Café is a great place to have coffee/tea and just relax. Not only is it a coffee shop, they have a wide selection of greeting cards and gifts to choose from. The tea and coffee selection is very large, this is a great place to relax, study and shop for small gifts.”

First time in December they had karaoke night and this trip it was relatively chill with march madness on. Im glad I found this spot in December. Beers are great. The staff is great. “What every other happy customer said...Pool League on Thursdays so dont go on Thurs if your trying to get a table, but its not packed so still come and get a drink cuz they have darts and multiple TVs for sports. They also do sports brackets so come place a bet so I can collect your money when I win ;) Bartenders are great and please if you come to Pints give them a good tip. Ive been a bartender and make sure you tip them. They arent millionaires but provide a top notch service. Its a dive bar so dont ask for a martini or anything that will get you laughed outta the bar. All good people trying to relax and have a good time. Dont bring bad vibes, they aren't welcome. Everyday patrons have the bartenders back so don't be an idiot. Karaoke night is prime. I never sing but one time I got too drunk and sang horribly, patrons still singing along with me, great bar in my opinion and Ive been to bars in 12 countries.”

“Huge fan of arcade bars, and we happen to find this one while walking the streets of old Colorado city! We had to stop in and play a few games, really loved the ski ball and the old school Galaga! I've been going to the original supernova in downtown Colorado Springs for a while, so its cool to see they have branched out! They have a ton of drink options, and well versed bartenders, but the games make it a fun and inviting atmosphere!”
