“Had been here years ago when visiting family and immediately remembered it when we returned. Food is great, PLENTY of gluten free options, the people were nice, and the atmosphere is good (think Alice in Wonderland, but she can order a drink). Definitely recommend, but make reservations!

The Chilean Sea Bass my husband ordered was melt-in-your mouth fabulous. We haven’t eaten that well and enjoyed every bite down to the last morsel in forever. But it’s so more than just the amazing food—Gus the owner strolls around to every table making sure everything is perfection to the tiniest detail. We learned about how they fly in fresh seafood daily, cut their own steaks and short ribs, and the talent of his pastry chef who’s been there for 37 years. He made us feel like family with his genuine kindness. His exuberant passion for food and hospitality blew us away, and he even surprised us with a special dessert tray because he was so proud of his bakery treats. (Cheesecake and elclair which was also heavenly!) My stomach is full and so is my heart! Thank you Gus, and Laura our server! We will be back again and again. “Heya so I wondered in here and man the food is good ! The owner.. I think I talked to the owner / Chef . Very intense, big accent . No disrespect but I have a hearing problem and the place is loud ! Like no joke ! It’s expensive so I would assume their clients are a bit older, so loud heavy accent, Intense! the dude is obviously passionate, but man! Odd choice.. w the loud music and super intense presentation. again the food ! Crazy goood the soup to die for etc.

Maybe someone wants this presentation, but it was a bit much for us .“

“Place is amazing, great atmosphere and an even better experience. We were sat outside by a friendly staff, who promptly brought us water bowels for our two little friends accompanied by a “dog menu”. Food is amazing as well and was even offered a complimentary appetizer of waffle fry chips, which were fantastic of course. Couldn’t recommend more.“

The genuine hospitality we felt was so heartwarming, especially in this day and age! we were there for the cheese wheel experience which surpassed the buildup I had envisioned! I chose the lobster and was so pleased to see the incredibly generous portion, which ended up with lobster in every bite complemented by the savory Parmesan cream and perfect pasta! The creative, unique cocktails were an exciting change from the same old, same old and the wine with dinner the perfect pairing! You have created an enchanting experience and We will be back!“

“I came here for a work meeting and was greeted by Mandy, who was excellent at her job. She had me try a drink (which I swear she telepathically knew what I would like!) and she sold me on it! She was nice, relatable and apparently psychic! She was my favorite part of my experience and excelled at her job description +! I recommend for sure!“

“Classic oyster bar with a fun atmosphere (crayons and a paper table top?) and top notch food. I wanted to cry happy tears when I tasted the raw oysters. It was so delicious and was just the pick me up I needed today. Our waiter was also such a delight and lifted my spirits the moment we walked in.“

The female hostess told us there’s no tables available and that we need a week in advance reservation even tho online it says there were tables available the very next day. However the other hostess which it was the nicest guy talked to the manager and allowed us to come inside for diner.
The outdoor area is stunning and I’ll definitely like to come back.
Vegetarian options were amazing.
Next time I’ll like to stay in the hotel :)“

“The only negative thing I can report is that service was too quick. Our entrees arrived before our bottle of wine. The corn puree that came with the expertly prepared bass, was cold. Otherwise, beautifully prepared food and an inventive menu!“

“DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I used Garden of the Gods Catering & Events for my wedding earlier this month and it was a disaster from the beginning. My trouble starts back in July when I tried to get ahold of someone to change my dinner time. It took over two months and me reaching out to general phone numbers and emails to get ahold of someone, mind you I had already paid in full so I couldn't back out or else I would have. Turns out the gal I was in contact with no longer works for the company. It came down to less than two weeks before my wedding day that I finally was able to get in touch with someone. When I hadn’t heard anything from the gal I had spoken to in the couple days prior over the phone, I emailed the general events@ email. I get an email after expressing my deep concern for my catering order in general saying “Hi, I emailed you yesterday. Did you not get it?”. Obviously if I’m reaching out, I didn’t receive anything, right? I thought we were good to go once I had a phone call and other email exchange with the gal that was taking over my day. I thought I would be able to brush communication mishap under the rug. Cut to dinner time on my wedding day. I realize it is far past the arrival time on my contract & dinner was supposed to be getting set up more than 30 mins ago. After frantically calling and sending an email, it took my father to go out & see if he could find the caterers down the road to learn that the truck has been stuck. I then get an email saying “I tried to email you”. How did that email go through but the first one didn’t? Then another email saying “I tried calling”. I had been at this lodge for 2 nights at this point had zero trouble with service or getting calls/texts/emails through. We also had two different caterers and a rental service come to the lodge also with zero service/communication difficulties. Because of this failure of communication, we ate dinner far later than planned, the food was cold & rolls hard as rocks. This also meant other parts of the wedding were pushed, causing my photographer to have to stay longer than the contract. I sent an email to the gals I had been in touch with and still have yet to get an email or phone call back.“

“We took our kids to the Cheyenne mountain zoo and chose to stay at the Marriott. No one told us the zoo was up hill both ways, but it was beautiful. After deciding we were too tired to go out we had dinner at Ascent. Our server Cameron was fantastic and very polite. We were surprised at the portions and the food was very good. Thank you again Cameron for a great experience. We'll definitely stay again.“
