“As lucky as you can get during Restaurant Week, we were seated by the owner Kim and really lucked out with our server Sam. Kim was so gracious as she told us about how we could order. When Sam came to take our order she helped us select the right delicious dishes for our dinner. The restaurant itself is modernized Old City Castlerock and is really cool. It has been serving up awesome dishes for 19 years. The Denver Restaurant Week menu is fantastic with your choice of 3 appetizers, 4 main course delights and last but NOT least 5 dessert choices. When it’s not restaurant week the menu selections multiply not to mention the beverages, for instance they offer you a choice of many different vodka, gin and rum drinks not to mention wine and beer and nonalcoholic selections to choose from. Simply put, The Union has everything you would want to feast on and the portions and service will be everything you could possibly hope for.Next time you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience come to The UNION Bistro, you’ll be glad you did.Parking: There is plenty of parking but when you first arrive you might think it’s crowded. Just look you find a perfect parking space.“
“Grilled Caesar salad: very nice presentation! Great flavor, just enough dressing and lemon squeeze on the side brought it all together. Could have grilled for a minute longer. This dish is a meal or perfect to share.Short ribs w/spatzle: very tasty, meat very tender. Needed more juiciness/sauce.No salt on the table and the food didn’t need it!! Nicely seasoned, not over.Solid food, a bit pricey, great service! The tap water was a little off.“
“My wife and I have been here several times, and we generally like the food. Last time we went, however, we split a burger and entree salad, and while the burger was everything we expected, the $16 salad was no bigger than a side salad. While it tasted good, it left a lot to be desired.I will also say that Danielle's has a nice whiskey selection (especially if you like the Buffalo Trace line of whiskeys), and a nice patio if the weather is cooperating. They are tucked off the beaten path in a nice shopping area, but in general, they are worth visiting for their burgers or Italian fare.“
“The food was soooo good! We got the pumpkin crusted salmon, prosciutto and Brie pizza, the jam burger, short rib enchiladas with Asian Brussels sprouts, and the prime dip. Everything tasted great and would definitely come back!Dietary restrictions: Very accessible gluten free options!“
“We visit this neighborhood bar and grille occasionally-- not often, but a few times a year. It is a strong 4.95...food was good, menu has lots of options. Exactly what I hope for in a eatery in our neighborhood. Only reason it was not a 5 last night was waiter who really seemed to want to hurry us along. Lots of open tables, but we were asked several times, if "is that all then?". He was very attentive, asking as I pulled off my coat what I'd like to drink. I opted for water as I looked at the menu. Moments later he was back, asking if we were going to order food. He seems a bit surprised when we ordered drinks and an appetizer. This scenario repeated itself when we wanted meals, second drinks, dessert, and to finish our drinks and desserts. In the end probably were at restaurant slightly over an hour..not a long lingering meal, but felt a bit more rushed than we had planned for date night. Will go back, still love the place... but maybe slow down the attentiveness that feels like rushing!“
“This is the best dive in Castle Rock. On nights I’m feeling funky fresh, you can find me in there with my friends playing Creed on the TouchTunes and draining Coors Lights as we watch whatever game is on. The menu is pretty exhaustive, but I love the sandwiches!“
“We ordered take-out. Chef actually took the time to get on the phone with me. Lady who answered the phone was very interested in providing good service, but due to recent changes to the menu handed me off to the chef. I thought this was amazing! I'm sorry I did not get the chef's name, but he was very kind, accommodating and our meal was wonderful!! Highly recommend! Food was excellent!“
“It's the best course in the Denver metro. This is the place I take visiting family and friends to experience the best Colorado golf has to offer (at least in my experience). Staff is phenomenal, course is pristine from tees to greens, practice area is tops, pro shop has great merchandise, and the views are virtually unmatched. Price is steep at $175 on weekends, but it's worth it. Just make sure you play the right tees for your skillset, and get a feel for the greens at the practice area. Greens are by far the most challenging aspect of this course with speed and undulation. Get photos on 6 and 16.My only criticism is pace of play: it's tough to get in under 5 hours here on the weekend. Otherwise, go play it; you won't regret it.“
“The whole experience was 5 star from start to finish. The servers were friendly and because it was my first time, helpful with suggestions. I ordered the Chicken Katsu. Off the charts flavor. I wanted to lick the plate good. The ambiance is quiet, the decor is modern and it wasn't so noisy that you couldn't hear your party talking. Impressed!!!!“
