Pixie is my go to waitress her personality is fun and bubbly and completes the total experience of a old school diner. “We are on a house hunting trip from Phoenix and stopped here to have a drink and lunch. The food here is phenomenal. Had gumbo and it was superb. Perfectly spiced and balanced with ample, sausage, peppers and the right amount of rice. Had sirracha and chipotle wings. The wings were smoked and then fried crispy. They were served with carrot sticks, and the dipping sauces, blue cheese and ranch, were homemade and absolutely delicious. Kerrin was our server and she too was great, attentive and helpful. “It's an on time drive in, and has excellent food/service still, even in 2024. I had the green chili fries, and it was enough to fill me up, even without the burger ? I ordered. The shakes have plenty of chunks of real fruit in them. It's one of the few places you can still get an actual malt in town. The prices are reasonable and well worth the cost. “I have only been there 2 times and my first time was for breakfast one day and a different day I went for lunch. I was really surprised because they were really busy on both days I went. We both have seen other people we know who go there to eat also and we've talked to them that's are friends also. You can walk in and seat yourself except when they are really busy and all the tables are packed because one weekend they asked for my father's name and said it would be 30 minutes since they were really busy and after 30 minutes they called us and took us to a table.“

“Checked this out for lunch before climbing up the falls and hiking. Was well worth the special flavors and ambiance even though the prices are a little steep. Our server was knowledgeable and very professional. The food was so flavorful and we would definitely go back. “Freddy's is my favorite bigger chain for a fast food burger. Both the burgs and fries are so different from the usual. Make sure to experiment with burger toppings, don't be stuck in a rut. The patty melt is heccin good, too.But the fries! Best fries of any burger joint, full stop. These are skinny fries, with their seasoning. And they are made hot and fresh to order, just like your burger.The frozen custard treats are just as good as the savory side of the menu. Oh, the onion rings aren't so great.“

“The point is a great little establishment. It's a great place to watch sports and have a good conversation with good people. Bartenders ate friendly and for the most part knowledgable with what they serve. You can order food also. I call it Comfortable bar food. And it's enough to satisfy your hunger. I recommend the burgers. I also recommend going there on the weekends. There's a great Bartender by the name of Amanda. She'll make your drinks the way you want and she'll even cook your food to perfection or at least try. The only reason I am not giving it five star is because it is a bit on the pricey end for what you get. The burger is kind of small and it will likely not be enough unlike some other places for the same price point like Skirted Heifer. My friend ordered a burger as well and wasn't enough for him either. Aside from the price, the burgers, atmosphere, and service is good. It wouldn't be my first pick for burgers but I still suggest you give it a shot.“
