This time around, I ordered a chocolate cone dipped in toasted coconut that was absolutely divine. My wife got a hot fudge sundae, which was delicious, though it did miss a cherry on top. My daughter was thrilled with her chocolate cone dipped in cherry—exactly what she hoped for!The updated parking and new drive-through are game-changers. No more congestion; the service is quicker than ever. They've also revamped the outdoor seating, making it a more comfortable experience for everyone.A big thumbs up for maintaining consistent quality over the years and for making those needed upgrades. “So Guy Fieri finally got one right out of 30 we have visited this is one of the better ones and the only one I have scored this high besides T-Bone Tom's. Let's begin, first off if there is no room inside to eat pick a spit on the street to sit or even at the park. Yes it's just a hamburger place but it's a good hamburger place one I would return to and wait in line for my food. The burgers are ok/good I'm disappointed in the actual size of the patty but still good. The patties are good especially for a place in the northern hemisphere of America. Down south if it isn't an inch thick it's considered a kids meal. We ordered the skirted heifer and a hangover burger one order of fries and 2 drinks. The fries are great I couldn't belive I myself liked the fries cause I can't eat many I about stuffed myself with those fries. The hangover I asked for roasted garlic ( thier idea of roasted garlic is a joke..) and add tomatoes. Cost extra for both I recommend not getting either one added on the burger because it's not worth the money. The overall flavor of the burger let me tell you I tried to finish my leftovers and couldn't. The skirted burger lived up to its name a bunch of melted cheese and looked great. Flavor was on point but again patties way to small/things. The heifer sauce eehh everyone has thier own version or name of ketchup mustard and mayo mixed together. Thiers is mixed just right no doubt. The drinks suck... I got the lemonade because no sweet tea and the coke was just gross. Lemonade was out of sight in comparison. We have been from Hawaii to Florida looking for a triple D dive that actually had flavor. This place will deliver is my bottom line. You cannot make everyone happy it will never happen, but myself who refuses to wait in a line for food I would wait for the burgers here. “Today was my first time coming to this restaurant.Super cute local diner, Staff was super friendly helpful and super quick. I'm gluten intolerant and they have gluten-free options which I was very happy about and pretty tasty!My friend on the other hand had avocado toast and let's just say, We weren't too thrilled with it, it was lacking avocado slices all there was was just a light avocado spread and too many almonds which we thought was unusual to be on avocado toast. Other then that. Everything was great ?”

“Drive thru only! OK, so I'm trying it out for the first time. I've heard it's like or better than in and out. Let me say in MY Opinion, it's very much like in and out, but it's definitely not better. The best part is the burger, which is great and dam near close to in and out, but the freshness and quality is a bit lacking with my one experience. The French fries were not good at all. They tasted like they were cooked in old oil or lard with a bad and overwhelming aftertaste. I tried the strawberry shake, and it was OK but lacked flavor. The prices are a bit more expensive than in n out, and I still prefer the double double and animal style fries. Also, the dining room being closed sucks obviously...Overall, I still recommend giving them a try because you will like it and possibly love it!”

First time I had the Rocket Mountain Corned beef hash, second time I had the Blue Corn Huevos Rancheros. Both dishes were amazing and I highly recommend them. This is a must try place for breakfast”

“This is one of our go-to breakfast restaurants. Food is always good with plenty of options for breakfast and lunch. Service is consistently quick and friendly.Carrie is the best server on the planet! We affectionately call the restaurant “You Betchas” after her and love sitting in her section!”

“We went to the Famous to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everyone in our party of four ordered steak. The steak was very good, but the sizes of the steaks offered were very large and we all had leftovers. Everything on the menu is a la carte. So, if you would like a side dish, soup or salad along with your steak, you must order and pay for it in addition to the cost of your very expensive steak. The high point of dining here is the staff. The service is outstanding. The noise level was extremely loud. It was difficult to carry on a conversation and almost impossible to hear the piano player from where we were seated.”

“Urban Egg is one of my favorite places to eat in daily life, but I can’t explain how amazing they were for catering our brunch wedding! We got breakfast tacos and biscuits and gravy for all of our guests (with coffee) as well as fruit for during our cocktail hour. Everyone could not stop raving about how delicious it was and how they are officially on the brunch wedding bandwagon! The service was second to none (as always - their staff is simply the best) and Sandy and team were able to get our whole plan ready on just two months notice without any questions or issue. The staff that worked our wedding were perfect (shoutout Kara and Jen) and made sure the setup was beautiful and the brunch went smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and staff. I would recommend them to anyone. “Excellent breakfast. It gets crowded on the weekends so better to put your name on the wait-list before leaving your house. I had the cornbeef hash and my husband had the salmon avocado toast and both were delicious. Their coffee both decaf and regular weren't bad either.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian dishes available.Dietary restrictions: They have several gluten free options.”

“I loved the feel of the place right when you walk in, a skeleton is there greeting all who walk in. There is so much to look at. All the walls have big screens showing a variety of sports and funny video shorts. The ceiling is littered with old license plates from all over the USA. Helmets of the different football teams sticking out of the wall, and there was so much more. As far as the service went they were great. Seated us right away at a long table with pull out chairs. The waitress was really helpful and polite. She did a great job serving us. The food was equally as great! A wide variety of options to choose from. Burgers, pizza, steaks, chicken, fish, and more. We each ordered something different off the menu, and when the food came out every one of our meals looked very appealing. As far as taste, it was delicious. My salmon was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor on a bed of rice. We all had to get doggie bags as the portions were fairly large. Great value! Great service! Great food! Great place. “We are traveling with our Dog. She had a great time. It was a brisk evening on patio. Outdoor seating only for dogs. Since it was our first time our waitress gave us an appetizer of garlic chips. They were very good. The Manager came and lit one of the patio heaters near us and it worked great. Kate was our waitress. She was very helpful. She gave us some ideas for our stay in Colo. Springs too. I had the chicken breast. The honey sauce on it was wonderful. My wife had the Bison meatloaf. She was impressed. Very good meal and an excellent place. “Great 1st visit! Food was flavorful, freshly made & delivered hot to the table! Only 1 waitress & 1 cook but they kept up. Relaxed atmosphere, clean & comfortable furnishings.We had a chef salad which was truly an entree size & great mix of ingredients that were fresh. Another had a club sandwich that was 3 layers STACKED FULL of turkey, ham & bacon. The fries looked home made, smaller than steak fries but bigger than straw fries. They were not greasy or over cooked. I had a grilled cheese & turkey sandwich. They happily traded out a side of fries for fresh fruit. The fresh fruit was all in-season berries, chilled & plenty of them. Grilled cheese was tasty & done to a nice crisp but not over done. We watched other orders go by in this 8 booth/table top cafe, all were sizable meals & looked delicious enough to make me consider changing my order!Prices are reasonable. The cafe was not full at any given time when we were there but instead it was a gentle stream for Sunday customers. They are open for breakfast & lunch from 7:30 AM until 2PM. Don’t go on a Wednesday, they are closed. We saw they have curbside pickup & website says delivery too! They are in the 1800 block of N. Academy Blvd & share a parking lot w/ the Hot Tub shop (SE corner of Dominion & Academy).This was a wonderful neighborhood cafe that we just spontaneously chose due to its closeness. They were kind & patient with my disabled adult brother We will be back to Rock City Cafe due to great service, reasonable pricing & absolutely good hot meals! Strongly encourage others to try it!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options plus they are open to ala cart ordering so u can put together ur own veggie preferences. My husband is vegan & felt he had plenty of choice.Parking: This is a small diner and parking is in front of the door. There are several plus outer area which in shared w/ hot tub business and a few in-front of the neighboring shop.Kid-friendliness: This is an open , light filled place that serves adults & kids well. It is a casual diner that is not imposing on families or their kids.”

He cracked jokes the whole time and made the experience worth it alone(employees name was Gary ) they got our food out to us quickly and it was still steaming. I ordered French toast , a breakfast burrito, and the grump 1/2 order . The French toast fluffy with a good egg ratio in it , felt like they melted in my mouth . The breakfast burrito was amazing also it came out smothered with green chili and gravy . It’s mix of everything was well distributed throughout the whole thing . I personally liked to add there red salsa on top of in addition. Now the grump 1/2 order was massive on its own. I added bacon and ham to mine. Which like the burrito was just suck a great mixture of flavor. The grump should only be called the grump because It makes me wish I had heard of this place sooner. They have great breakfast food. “Just tried Felipe 109 for the first time today, and it was amazing! It far exceeded my expectations! I ordered 3 taco burgers, a sombrero burger, and the trash nachos w/ green chili and it was a hit with my family and I! The food was fast and fresh, Felipe himself took my order and was super cool, and the lady who prepared the meal was friendly and accurate. If you haven't already, go down and try it! I'm exited to have it again in the near future!”

“Every time I'm down in the springs I make a point to swing by King Chef. It's usually pretty crowded so plan in advance and try to eat in the off peak hours, if you can. It's usually worth the wait. Pretty much everything I've had is good to great. It's a lot of food! My burrito had to have like a potato and a half of hash browns in it plus cheese and a good scoop of green chili. I recommend coming in hungry!”

“My dad used to take us here when Powers was just that road, way out East. It had probably been 20+ years since I had eaten here, and on a whim, I wanted to give it a try!Well... it's still fun! Other than the prices, I don't think anything has changed. The food is good, not great. It's exactly what you'd expect from a 60's diner. However, the ambiance alone is worth going. “I went on a Labor Day when it was super busy however I was a onesie so I got a seat right at the bar, which was clutch. I got a front row seat for how hard everybody at this diner works. These folks bust their buns. The food was excellent, especially when you consider the price! I am not being hyperbolic. All of the food was superb. If I wasn't just passing through, this would be my go-to diner even if it is the only thing, "alive" in that strip mall complex. My coffee was always refilled and I went through plenty of water. I left completely satisfied and impressed, just sad I don't have something like this close-by where I live.”

“Went to Freddy's for the first time on 10-8-23 because I had been hearing how great they were. I wasn't disappointed with the food it was good, but the person working the counter wasn't very friendly like she didn't like her job or something. I also have to add that I walked in the bathroom and it was disgusting like no one cleans the bathrooms? I walked right out. I do not understand the position of managers that are supposed to be on top of there restaurant. Tables were not cleaned off, not very sanitary. And to be honest Covid is not over to have a dirty place like that. I was kind of disappointed. Food was about the only thing that was good, sad to say. Gina L”

“The food was incredible!! Everything was delicious. I ordered the steak, it was so tender and the chimichuri was so flavorful. My fiancé ordered the trout cast iron style, he cleaned his plate. My father ordered the mixed grill, which he so graciously shared a bit of. I HIGHLY recommend this dish, the bison was so juicy and had such great flavor! But the star of the show was the Venison sausage, I am usually not a fan of Venison but this was out of this world good!!!”

“The food here is amazing and the people that go here are always fun and friendly. However, the last couple of times I have been here, the cook, who also takes the orders, is extremely rude. When you're ready to order he always has an attitude about it and when you have a question about a menu item he looks at you at treats you as if you're d*** and should know the entire menu and everything they cook. The bartender was a little better, but not much. If it wasn't for awesome food and the amazing wings, I probably wouldn't come here at all just because of the rude behavior of the staff.”
