“My wife and I have been coming to Stumpy's since it was a "takeout/buy a slice" joint in a strip mall off of Founder's. I'm from Queens NY and grew up on NY pies. This is the best in Colorado. (Honorary mention goes to Big Bill's.) Interestingly enough, my wife absolutely loves the burgers too. She claims they are better than most of the "high end" burgers in Castle Rock restaurants. The team does a great job, particularly since they, like everyone else, are having trouble attracting new employees. It's a sign of the times and Stumpy's does a great job of dealing with it. I guess it's been 10 years or so of eating Stumpy's pies. The best "test case" for a real NY pie is to order plain cheese. That way you get the pure deal. Of course, the toppings are fun too.“
“Wonderful food with spectacular service and a nice atmosphere as well. I'm honestly not a beer fan so microbrews don't appeal to me but they have a full bar and that green chili stew was amazing. The bubba burger was really good too but be warned, these are normal sized burgers (large, as they should be) so you may not want to do a double. It was a lot of meat but so freaking good. If you're in the area and especially if your staying at one of the local hotels, I highly recommend this place.“
“I've always enjoyed Freddy's, but today was my best experience. I had the #5 (Jalapeno pepper jack double steakburger) with fries.Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the young staff was friendly and on top of their game.Keep it up, and we'll become regulars!“
“Great, friendly service and the food was really well done! I haven't been to an Applebee's in years because I had remembered it being too salty (even for the salt fiend that I was at the time). Now, I'm on a strict low salt diet and am super sensitive to it, but their cooks nailed it! The taco apps were fresh and delicious and the roast beef sandwich was perfect. I also don't drink much anymore, but tried the signature specialty drinks and their mixology team crafted really great spring cocktails. I sampled three different ones (wasn't driving) but got too sugared up. (Nothing wrong with the drinks... just me. Ha!) Next time, I want to try the frozen colada special, which looks great.“
“Very solid food. The avocado bacon burger was tasty, and they did not skimp on the avocado. I'm not a huge fan of crinkle cut fries, but they were seasoned well and were overall fine. The shake was amazing as usual. I pretty much never eat fast food, but the 2 times I have over the past year or so we're both Shake Shack, which says a lot about the quality.“
“We had an order for burgers which were made incorrectly. I personally understand. I used to work at a fast food restaurant in high school. We brought the burgers back to the front counter and the manager was very quick to have the problem fixed.Dietary restrictions: Someone in my group had a dairy allergy and they remade the burgers without cheese. No questions asked.“
“Used the drive thru, so no atmosphere review. The food itself is far more than "just another burger place" to me and the family. It's option 1 when we desire fast food... without a doubt. Everything from the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich to the Jumbo Jack has never disappeared. Not convinced, just try a shake, you'll see what I mean... they're just, better than anywhere else.“
“Food was amazing. Really tasty. The pancakes were a bit dry. In the hash browns and the baked potatoes were amazing, no salt needed to be added. I did not like that we had to wait a lot for the waitress to get napkins, but her service was still great. The coffee was really good.“
“I had the fish sandwich. it was delicious, but there was a lot of oil or Greece from deep frying the fillet. There was no tartar sauce on it either ,which they're usually always was when I've had it in the past. Also had a Cherry shake. They're custard is so good. If you don't mind the extra calories, yum!“
“A great place to go for all kinds of different burgers and milkshakes. A little pricey but worth every penny. Recently visited for the first time and had a great experience. Strawberry cheesecake and brownie milkshakes were so yummy. Can't wait to visit again.“
